Friendly and super affordable, even after they recently had to slightly raise prices due to rent & equipment price increases! I really recommend calling in the morning on the day you'd like to come in; they're usually able to slot you in at or very close to the time you'd like to arrive. I get the same gel manicure and pedicure (in the same color lol) every time, so I can't speak to acrylics/powder/etc, but I'm always happy with the end result. Have no plans on stopping to come here regularly any time soon. :-) read more

I had found a new nail tech, but then she left so I tried unique nails again... wrong move! I got a gel manicure Thursday evening and this is what it looked like Saturday. I was hopeful because I told them how I wasn't pleased because they weren't lasting, but she still seemed to rush through and not prepare my nails properly. I'm done for good now. I have been going here for ten years! I like the girls and they take care of me. Unfortunately the place is falling apart. There is nail dust everywhere, you feel it under your shoes when you walk and you see the white dust settled on every area of the salon. The leather on the chairs are peeled off, the nail polishes are old and constantly filled with thinner to make it usable. Most importantly the tools are not sanitized they go into the bathroom place the tools in the blue sanitizing bags and walk out with it, sanding materials for feet are re used. The white towels are now grey with age and smell. All nail salons are up to date with technology and new equipment but not Nail Time. I don't understand why the owner Michael does not spend money to make upgrades, sanitize and have the place cleaned. It's disgusting and I'm looking to go somewhere else to get my nails done. read more

THEFT business. Steve/ Ann/ Keith run this inconsiderate business. Did my nails on Friday 9/22 & paid $111 with Applepay, no receipt came out so Steve made me run it again (rushing me out since i was last client) even tho i told him transaction went thru. i ended up paying twice that night ($222) & told me to let him know Mon if I was double charged. Fair enough i'll take it upon myself even thou it wasn't my error. Let the weekend end - Checked Mon, Tue then Wednesdays...still TWO transactions pending. Called Chase to ask why they were still pending & I needed to make sure if it's an error before i called Steve. Chase confirmed that their atm company hasn't retrieved their money yet. Annoyed because now it's been a week since my appt. I then called Steve & said he'll talk to Keith (Atm man) & call me right back, never called. I called again two days later, Ann said Steve isn't here but she'll let him know. Another day now they gave my personal information (because clearly Steve can't handle it) to the Atm man who then sends me a screenshot of my refund dated 10/6! Two freakin weeks later?? Oh & can't get my money on that day either because it's Columbus Day. WAIT!!! The robbery isn't done. Couple days later I see my statement and a THIRD charged was done for another $111 so now at this point they have taken $333 I once again call Chase to make sure it def 3 charges. Keith states it's not a charge but a simple authorization. Nope. In total it took me more than 3 weeks to get MY OWN MONEY. I asked them for a complimentary filll or at least a small discount for the huge inconvenience and they offer ZERO not even an apology! But Steve could hang up on me when he was asked why has this been so long to receive my money. I wasn't asking for a refund cause the nails are ugly , i work hard for my money while they just take and act dumb. Sucks because i've been going to them for 8+ years. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

I've actually gone to this place several times since it's down the street but the owner has their employees park in the residential neighborhood all day and then the workers leave trash behind. Been coming here for a few years. Terri, Steven, jenny and amy are great! Everyone is friendly and they are prompt and on time. Make an appointment though! They book up fast. They have tons of dip colors, gel colors and do fun nail designs. Prices are reasonable. Parking does stink so i always park in the neighborhood next to it for less stress. read more

I was going here for about five months faithfully and then one day the owner and my nail tech decided that they did not want to sharpen or do anything extra to my nails anymore which was super rude. I turned my Hand over after, finishing my acrylic set and asked her to sharpen my nails, and then tech refused and just shook her head. No words or anything they acted like they couldn't speak English anymore which was super weird because like I said I've been going here for five months. Out of the blue it seemed like the shop switched up on me after I've spent a couple thousand dollars there of course. Obviously I did not go back for the unfair treatment. Overall, I still like the color and finish of nails. My issue is that they're suppose to last 3-4 weeks. I had to schedule another appointment which ended up being 2 weeks exactly from original date. AVOID STEVE!!! Disclaimer: I never write reviews. So something really BAD has to happen for me to write a review. So please take my review highly into consideration! I started coming regularly by Steven 3 months ago. I would come every 2 weeks and came here because I was happy with how he did my nails. I always showed up on time and always left a generous tip. Most of the time I wait 5, 10, even 15 minutes for Steven to finish with his prior customer. I understand it happens and would use the time to follow up on my emails. He would never talk much, and wouldn't engage in conversations I attempted to start. I work in customer service, so I'm all about relationship building. Anyways, I came in for my regular appointment today. I usually always do a neutral color, but since I'm going to be maid of honor at my friends wedding tomorrow, I asked him if he could do a v shaped French tip for me. I wanted to try something new and have something special. So I showed him a picture. He seemed annoyed, but said ok and began to do the design. He was very rough and was beginning to get very frustrated by having to paint the French tips. He did the French design on one of my hands and motioned me to put my hand under the UV light to dry. Before I put my hand in, I took a quick moment to look at the design to mentally confirm that it resembled the picture I showed him. As I was looking at my fingers to determine how I feel about it he YELLED at me saying "HURRY UP I HAVE OTHER CUSTOMERS WAITING FOR ME!!!" I literally JUMPED from my seat. I couldn't believe he literally YELLED at me. The customers next to me were even shocked. I wanted to cry! Then he turned around and started talking in Vietnamese to the lady workers in a very angry tone giving me dirty looks. Then HE GOT UP and stared walking away! Still in shock, I asked him "If you did not have time why didn't you tell me you couldn't do the design?" *no answer* I feel sick to my stomach because and am very disturbed by his behavior. I really always make an effort to do an extra act of kindness for people around me and to be treated this way after supporting this business makes me feel SICK to my stomach. I am disgusted and feel so uncomfortable and bothered by this treatment. Whoever you are, do yourself a favor and DO NOT go to this salon. Whoever you are reading this, you deserve to go somewhere that will value your business, and treat you respectfully. Steven if you are reading this, I am very disappointed in you. You were extremely out of line today, and I pray that you will get professional help. read more

This place was pretty decent. I walked in with no appointment for a gel manicure. I only waited about ten minutes before being attended to. They have a wide variety of colors to choose from, the manicurist was gentle, didn't cut my nails down too short, and was quick. I looked for businesses in the area and this one had the best prices. All in all it was a relatively good experience. It was crowded when I went and I was still attended to. read more

Glad to be back!! I always get the Deluxe Mani Pedi Spa (Thats number 6 in the menu). Today was exceptionally good. I dont exactly know what they put, but they exfoliate both feet and hands. Two different types of cream, and then massage. 10 minutes was more than enough. That and the seat massager made me feel really relaxed. I also asked and they delivered to make sure to clean my nails very well, especially the side part. I always get something neutral. So slightly pink/peach for my nails. I forgot to ask the names of the techs who helped me but both did very well. The one who did my pedicure was very generous with her time, and clean my toe nails well. And made sure the color was spread evenly. The one who did my manicure, made sure that the polish was shaked well to show good color. Also did good side nail cleaning. Felt very comfy with both of them. Oh i also got my eyebrows done. It wasn't Miley this time and Im very bad for not remembering their names. But she also did well. Overall, with tips. I spent the same amount, i wouldve spent minus tips and eyebrows on the other place I go to. Worth my time and money. This is also super close to my house. So definitely staying with them! read more

To top it off the last pedicure they did on me they took too much of my toe nail. I would post a picture but it's too embarrassing. Started coming here almost two years ago when I moved to Burbank & I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness & time they take doing nails. Ann & Steven are so sweet & have always been very accommodating when needed. Everyone does a great job but special shout out of to my fave, STEVEN who CONSISTENTLY does an amazing job! I go to him for the dip powder which at the beginning I was all gel, but he convinced me to try the dip powder cause my nails kept breaking & honestly, I've never gone back! Been getting dip powder since January bwith Steven every 2 1/2-3 weeks & I seriously get comments on my nails everywhere I go, forreal. People can't believe they're my real nails! Called in 1 hour before, made an appointment for 11:30 and got seated at 11:30. Went with my sister for her graduation. We both got gel nails and spa pedicure. I got the diamond pedicure but they didnt give it to her, I think the lady didnt understand but I made sure to tell the receptionist. Thats the minus one star for and because my nails were just so-so. But everyone was nice. The lady Miley who did my nails offered to do my eyebrows, so we got eyebrows and upper lips done and its soo good. So im coming back for that for sure. my friend and I went here for the first time a week ago and both got gel manicures. After just five days both our nails already started chipping and peeling. I have had gel nails many times in the past and they always last about 2 weeks without any peeling. I called the salon and explained what happened and the lady from the salon basically was blaming me for the peeling polish saying hand washing and sanitizing can cause it. There was no apology at all and instead of saying sorry and telling me to come in right away to fix my nails she said they were booked for the next 2 days and would call if they had any cancellations. Very poor customer service. I will never return to this nail salon. Be warned for the poor service and rude employees. read more

My gel polish was chipping and my nails looked TERRIBLE! So, when I saw a nail salon near my work, I randomly decided to use my lunch hour to walk-in for a gel manicure ($25!). I was scared that they would be busy and make me wait (I was only working with 1 hour or less!), but Ann seated me right away and started the soak-off of the old polish. After my nails had soaked for long enough, a different manicurist took over (didn't catch her name!)- she's FABULOUS. Super friendly, really great eye for details, AND she worked quickly so I made it back to work on time. I like my nails SHORT and most salons still try to keep SOME length and I have to ask them to trim back more. At Unique Nails, when I asked for "as short as possible ", she cut my nails to my perfect length the very first time! Plus, the gel nail polish shades available are all SO beautiful. I chose a black polish with blue and silver glitter (I think it was called Sea By Night). Typically I get black with an accent nail, but this shade is so gorgeous all on its own, I didn't need to pick out a second shade. I think found my new favorite salon! read more

I've been a customer here for almost a year. I love it here. Terry is amazing, and I always go to her, but after todays incident with horrible customer service, I will not be coming here. On Monday I called to make an appt for Tuesday. On Tuesday I called at 11:49am to reschedule my appt for today, Wednesday. The lady who always answers the phone said that she tried to call me on Tuesday asking if I was coming, which is a lie. I showed her proof that I called her with the exact time I called on Tuesday. When I called her at 11:49am she said she schedule me for Wednesday, not Tuesday. I said okay, cool. Because I was trying to reschedule for Wednesday. So, today is Wednesday. She said that my appt was yesterday (Tuesday) and I said no, I called and you told me that it was today. I was so fed up with her lying ass, always rude to customers. Every time. She does this to multiple people. So, I told her whatever, and left. I took my money else where. I found a new spot 5 minutes away called lotus. As I'll be in the burbank area a bit more often, I wanted to find a local salon in case I can't quite make it to my usual spots in studio city or the west valley so I trusted the Yelp universe and gave this salon a try. I will own that I am particular when it comes to nails. Ladies and gents, we spend a pretty penny on nails so you expect something worthy of your hard earned money: Unique Nails is just that! Tommy did my gel mani; he was meticulous in both his manicuring and gel painting skill. I appreciate a technician like him who does gel well because not only is it a pretty penny but it lasts a while so you want it to be a worthy commitment. The arm massage was fabulous. Lily did my regular pedi. All of their chairs are spa chairs with massage but I appreciate that they use a new, individual plastic liner before your feet soak each time. She was thorough in her pedicure and her polish painting. I chose a very unforgiving white - the kind where you can tell if the technician's skill is good or meh - and hers was on point. I appreciated that she made sure to clean any excess polish off with a brush before the ta-da finish. Sidebar: lily worked on a gentleman who had some serious ingrown toenails and she got them out with the skill level of a podiatrist - I was impressed and so was he. They have a menu of various packages but honestly I got the basic mani/pedi and it was enough. Basic gel mani included a fancy finish with a hot towel post massage. Callus remover is offered at an additional $5 which is a steal in itself. I walked in and they took me right away. Parking is adjacent lot. They accept visa/MasterCard. Tip is cash only. Ann, who I believe is one of the owners, was warm and friendly as I checked out. Overall, a relaxing experience. If I need a mani/pedi and am in this part of the valley, this is definitely my go to place. read more
