I had a very disappointing experience here. I came in with my daughter for manicures--mine was a dip and hers was gel. Mine turned out thick and uneven, and her gel manicure chipped the very next day. We originally arrived during a busy time and were told to come back at 6:30. When we did, they rushed through both the manicure and pedicure. If they can't take the time to provide proper service, then why give an appointment at that time? The quality did not reflect the price--we paid nearly $200 including tips, and it was absolutely not worth it. I won't be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Went in today for a dip manicure. I wanted a colored French tip and showed the nail tech a picture, which he said was fine but it would be an extra $15. The tips ended up coming out TERRIBLY - the lines were not clean and they were very uneven. The guy fixed them with gel, but only after I pointed out that they did not look good. He still tried to charge me $70, to which I objected, and they gave me a 50% off discount. $35 plus tip is still a lot of money to pay for nails you don't like. The dip itself is bumpy and incredibly thick. The tech didn't ask at any point during the manicure if I liked the shape or style and did not bother looking at the picture I brought. Update: tips have already started to chip and peel after 1 day. Horrible quality. read more

I used to come here all of the time but stopped because it got too busy. I could no longer get a same day appointment. The nail tech I had today did a fantastic job, great attention to detail. It took longer than expected but that was because she also had to keep setting up pedicure seats for others in between. In spite of that, she didn't rush me out of my chair, paid attention to what she was doing, and the results were perfect. I have been going elsewhere for the past year that was newer and more modern looking. The new place is a must to book day before and many times I have not been happy with the experience or the results. Wow! I am so impressed by this salon! I came in for an appointment and I was a walk-in. I was relieved that I noticed the employees taking Covid precautions seriously. Temperatures taken upon arrival and asked to sanitize hands before touching anything. The inside is modern and aesthetically pleasing, also very clean. My nail tech was owner Mark who was very kind and professional. I had a very badly broken nail that was a high break halfway up my nail and he was very gentle when taking off the dip I had on. He also put on new tips and the dip job was just perfect. So happy I finally found an amazing new salon in my area since I just moved nearby. This is my new go to place! I've gotten my nails done here several times and they've turned out wonderful, but this experience disappointed me. I asked for my nails to be filed in a square shape and my manicurist first trimmed them unevenly and then filed them unevenly, so now my nails are uneven. Gel manicures usually last 3 weeks for me but my nails started chipping after 4 days. Overall, I feel like I wasted my money and will not be coming back. read more

This used to be the BEST nail salon around when it was under different ownership/management. Mia would make everyone feel like a 'friend' and the quality of her work and all the techs she hired was top notch! If it wasn't, Mia would personally correct at no charge. This salon always offered so many extra amenities such as paraffin wax and massage--everything was so clean and service was friendly and professional. NOW -- a whole different story -- my latest experience was awful! i've been a loyal customer since they opened, but i will not return. The technician was rough and rushed --he actually burnt my nail w/the dremel tool. My cuticles were never soaked -- the technician was unfriendly, not wearing a name tag and seemed to just want to get the job done as fast as possible. Came here for part of my bridal shower celebration and we were so pleased with the service and overall experience. The inside was nice and clean, the chairs were comfy .They let us bring champagne and cupcakes .All six girls in my party were work on simultaneously so we all finished around the same time - no waiting around. The manicure and pedicure were top notch .I've had hundreds of manicures they do a QUALITY job here. I just tried out unique nails because a co-worker recommended it. I called and made a same day appointment. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and shown to the polish wall - I was happy to see the new OPI Fall 2019 collection! I picked my color and was brought right over to a pedicure chair. I was so surprised that they use disposable liners for each foot tub per customer; this is so nice and sanitary! Maggie was my nail technician and showed me a pedicure menu I could choose from. Every pedicure comes with a paraffin wax heel treatment & shoulder massage! (Very unlike any other salon) The lavender pedicure ($55) comes with clay treatment for your legs, hot stone massage & 10 minute foot reflexology massage. (They use timers!) All while sitting in a nice massage chair and getting hot steamed towels, this was the best pedicure I've ever had! She did a great job exfoliating my skin and shaping my nails, the paint is perfect. Then I was brought over to a manicure station. The regular gel manicure includes a exfoliating scrub, hand dip paraffin wax, (I've never seen this included before) and quick lotion/massage application. My manicure came out beautifully and after the color I chose was still see through after 2 coats Maggie kindly offered a 3rd coat! My nails came out beautifully! From start to finish I was in the salon for 1.5 hours - it was well worth it and very spa like! I definitely recommend this nail salon and will absolutely be coming back! read more

I used to love this place, and when I moved to Boston I would drive back here just to get my bails done. However, I came in with a gift card for a pedicure, and was overcharged when I was told that a pedicure cost $20 more than I was told. Instead of being refunded, I was given 3 $5 coupons (even though it should've been 4). I accepted the coupons since I figured what difference does it make, I can use them next time. So I returned for a gel manicure, and it wasn't until I was done that I was informed that I can only use these coupons one at a time, and they expire in March. Meaning I would have to basically get a weekly pedicure to make my money's worth. I'm empathetic to the fact that business are severely struggling during the pandemic, but it doesn't seem right to me that customers have to be ripped off and lied to in the process. My go-to nail salon in the Acton area. Kevin is great and always takes his time. He never pulls at my hands or does anything uncomfortable. I went there to get my prom nails fixed and he did an amazing job! I'm not huge on talking and I usually drift off in the chair which is perfect because there is no pressure to hold up a conversation. Very nice environment with great people. read more

Worst.Experience.Ever. I came for a pedicure and fill a couple weeks back, and had Nicole as a nail technician. I have been to MANY nail salons and have never had such an awful experience. The pedicure was all of 10 minutes, but I wasn't going to complain about that... Then, I go to have my nails filled, and Nicole starts almost yelling at me asking where I got my nails done before this. I could go on and on about how rude she was.... Finally, it was time to pay. Pedi was 30 and fill was 30. I was going to pay with credit card, told her to put tip on card please as I had no cash on me. I know its annoying to have no cash for tip, but she gave me the whole story of how its really an inconvenience I don't have cash. SO she asked how much I want to tip. I ALWAYS give 20% or more. This time, I said "10$ please". No joke, she looked at me, and said "How about 12 dollars, that would be 20 percent." So, she got the 12$ because I was just SHOCKED that she had this customer service!! Never ever again!!! read more

This place is terrible I made an appointment but they had a lot of walk-ins so they didn't take me at my appointment time, they made me wait my turn with the walk-ins. 45 min later they did a sloppy job on my toes and when I said I was out of time, they put polish on my nails and didn't even cut my cuticles even though I asked him 3 times if he would soak my hands and trim my cuticles. This isn't a salon to get a dip manicure. They manually sand down your nails instead of using a sanding tool which scratches your skin painfully, much slower and doesn't shape your nail as well. On the plus, you get an amazing hand wax dip and mini neck massage at the end. I recommend the salon for other manicures though! read more

This was my first time here! It's so clean & nice inside! I've never been to a nail salon this nice. All I got was a manicure & she went above and beyond. They cleaned & cut my nails, then they bring you to a soft wax station where they did both your hands in this soft warm wax and then put gloves on you. It stays on for a couple minutes while they massage you. It's actually really nice & relaxing! Then they painted my nails. I was so impressed. And it was only $15. I'll be back! This was hands down the worst pedicure I've ever had and I get tons of them. It lasted literally 20 minutes. You could tell she was miserable the entire time, scrubbed my feet for about 30 seconds each and her massage was like a dead fish. I had to ask her to cut more of my cuticles which she did grudgingly. Then the polish was bad so I had to ask her to redo three of the nails. They do a small neck massage while your nails dry and she stayed in one place and probably left bruises, "chopping" the whole time. Buyer beware or just go somewhere else. read more

I only gave 4 stars, though, because halfway through my pedi I saw someone else getting a "spa pedicure". I was never asked if I wanted one, which I would have gladly paid for, and when I noticed the 'menu' of services and inquires about it I was told that they were only for people with callouses. So in the end, I'm rather disappointed that it wasn't made available to me.. My feet aren't calloused, but I can't stand the dryness and would have GREATLY appreciated the extra attention! I came at opening time on a Tuesday morning so there were no other customers and no wait. The salon has a nice set of polish options and not the cheap ones that chip quickly so that's a plus. The space is clean and the staff is friendly. Tom was assigned to do my pedicure today and he did not disappoint. The salon has a regular pedi and then four different types of spa pedicures that cost more. I chose the lavender pedicure which is $55, which is about $10 more than the regular. The spa pedicure prices go from $55-$100. The one I chose had a mud mask for your legs, a massage, and hot rocks for relaxing. Tom did an amazing job on my nail polish and listened to my requests for how to cut down my nails. Even better was the leg massage! He used medium pressure and it felt amazing! This is my third time coming here and I've always been happy. Even with the Christmas Eve crowd, I never felt rushed. Will definitely be back, and I'll definitely ask for Tom again. read more

Went in today to get a spa pedicure, I was beyond excited because I heard great things! The First Lady I had was so gentle and didn't even know what a ingrown nail was, So another lady came in which was a lot better but it is not the best! I will not come again. And I don't think they are licensed nail technician, just putting it out there!!! ( oh and the painting job don't get me started, just don't do there) if you do go to the guy he looks more advanced than women, they should be a massage parlor they give better massages than pedi's! read more

They are very friendly and usually always take me, even without an appointment. Do not go here, their costumer service is horrendous. I spent 80$ on a pedicure and gel manicure. Two days later the gel manicure was lifting, not to mention you could see the color from my previous gel through the new color bc they did a crappy job removing the old. So I went in and gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe it was just a crappy nail polish color. The owner refused to do a color change without charging me 30$, redid the one nail he considered to be lifting.
