I have coming here every 2 weeks for several years! Kay the owner is amazing, extremely professional and organized. I see Lilly (she happened to be the first tech available on my first time!) because I am loyal to one person but would without hesitation book a manicure/pedicure with Kay :) The salon is very clean and I always have the best results with either gel or dip could easily last longer than my 2 week interval but I choose to come in often because Lilly gives the BEST massages while my hands are relaxing in paraffin gloves at the end. Lilly has also given me the most FUN manicures of my life. She can do elegant (very demure and very mindful haha) but she can also do ombre and French and anything else that you can imagine and request. I can't recommend this business enough. This was the first time I've been here. I booked a last minute appointment, day of, online and had no problems getting in. The 20% off coupon on yelp is not valid. I was told it was there from the old owner. Not a big deal but they need to update. A bit of false advertising. Otherwise I enjoyed myself. Relaxing and my nail technician did a very good job on my mani and pedi... Which I know was way over due lol. I wasn't sure if I wanted to write this review and waited almost 2 weeks before taking my pics and making a decision to write. The good: salon was clean and comfortable, and the tech did an excellent job shaping and finishing my nails. They are thin, but strong and not one has broken or chipped in the last 12 days (which is unusual for me) The bad: I was very specific on the phone that I wanted an ombré dip and asked if they had someone available to do it at the specific time (not all techs can do this type of work, I understand that), the woman I spoke with said repeatedly that they could accommodate me. Apparently they could not, the woman doing my nails did not know how to do ombré and even after instructions from the other techs and myself ended up "painting" on the second color, which looks weird and not professional. Additionally she was removing another persons nails while doing my removal, which made the whole process take twice as long. What should have been a 1-1.5 hour appointment took over 2 hours. All in all my nails didn't look so "bad" I felt I needed them redone, but i certainly don't want to spend $70+ tip for this quality service.. would consider using them again for something more simple if I was in a pinch. read more

The place was pretty good, nothing special. Average, or the same standard as most in the area. Staff were very nice, and super welcoming vibe. I requested for a service of full set of acrylics, and it was all perfect. the shape of each one nail is a little crooked but that's about it. The polish is a little patchy but I don't think that's the painters fault, possibly the brand? But they were super nice would recommend. I overall loved the service it was reasonable price, calm, and the service was pretty good! read more

Definitely my highlight of the week! I've been coming to see Kay for the past 6 weeks and I'm absolutely in love with her work and personality! She did acrylic nails for my graduation and I couldn't be happier with the results! She's always quick to show me new colors of nail polish that come in and always makes sure my nails are the same size and shape as requested! Kay's work is precise and neatly done, and the results are always 10/10! The receptionist Cece is unbelievably sweet and helpful as well! I booked a last minute appointment for a pedicure and wasn't disappointed. I got the deluxe pedicure and the massage was so relaxing. The massage chair is great, too. They didn't have the nail color I wanted so Anna mixed 2 colors to get the color for me which was so nice. When I messed up my toe leaving, the owner very kindly fixed it for me. I had a great experience with my gel french manicure and classic pedicure. Both technicians were meticulous, skilled, speedy, and kind. I hadn't sprung for a mani/pedi since the pandemic began so needless to say my fingers and feet were in rough shape when I arrived. I left the salon feeling refreshed, relaxed, and looking great. First Lady is my new go-to nail salon. Also, there is ample free parking, they accept credit card, the salon is very clean (during my hour spent there I noted the floors were swept clean three different times), they offer tons of polish options, the massage chairs are lovely, and there's WiFi. There are also plexiglass dividers hanging between the technicians and the massage chairs for pedicures and all techs wear masks. I felt super safe during my appointment. The place is so run down. The guy doing my mani /pedi talked on his speaker phone the entire time I was there. The woman who I think was the owner proceeded to eat an entire bag of seaweed wraps then enjoyed a full lunch!! Oh! And the guy who obviously wasn't paying any attention to me,cut my heel. I had some unexpected time for a gel manicure today and was excited I could get an appointment quickly. I showed a picture of what I wanted and I could tell they didn't want to do it. It took about 5 tries to get just a solid color. I also booked a spa gel manicure with extra massage and paraffin. They forgot (understandable) and asked if I wanted it when I was already done. It's clean but the staff aren't friendly and because they won't invest in a receptionist, services are frequently interrupted with the women needing to answer the phone. They will also interrupt services to make personal texts or respond to something on social media. They are also not friendly and I often feel like I'm in that episode of Seinfeld. read more

Clean and good nail color options but the manicurist ruined my nails. I asked them to be shorter and square shaped. I had to ask her to stop because she was filing them round. But she continued to file my nails down to the nail bed. I had to ask her more than once to stop filing because it hurt! I kept having to pull my hand away. The color is beautiful but my nails are so short it's awkward looking since I can see my nail bed on four of my nails. She also filed the top of my nails almost obsessively. It was so strange and now uncomfortable! She did apologize but it was like she spent a half hour filing and not paying attention. At one point she was talking with a customer not even looking at my nails as she filed. It was bizarre. Not returning because I wouldn't risk having her again. read more
