Fine but not fantastic (nor fantastisk, assuming that is a variant of fantastic). They have a large selection of polishes but no Zoya, which is my go to these days. My nail tech had trouble cutting my nails and wielded a bit too much force which didn't cease until she finally heard me the third time I asked her to get a clipper that actually worked. My manicure was a bit streaky from under polishing but my pedicure was decent. The best service I got here was a $10 eyebrow wax which was pretty expertly performed. read more

The space was unclean, and I left with an incredibly chipped,smudged manicure. I was on a time crunch and did not have the ability to stay and have it redone, and when I went to the front desk and told them I did not want to pay for the service, they refused and wouldn't let me leave until paying. I went with a friend, just looking for a nice mani-pedi experience somewhere close to home. This place is small; it is basically the second floor of a building with a Rite Aid in the first floor. There were only three ladies working there, which meant that I didn't have someone working on my nails the whole time. This might irk some, but since I just wanted to spend some relaxing time with my friend, I didn't mind. The other customers there greeted the ladies working by name and left saying, "See you later!" Very happy with this place. Went in today for the first time to get an eyebrow wax. I am very particular about who does them because my brows are important lol. So I walked in to a very clean and spacious salon with very nice people. Kim ended up doing my eyebrows and lip. She did such a fantastic job!! She took her time and made sure they were just right before I got off of that chair. I've been going here regularly for over a year for gel manicures, pedis and brow waxing and have never had a problem and always leave feeling pleased about the service and results. I bring my little girls here, too, for a mani/pedis - they have a special Hello Kitty chair for them. This salon is no-frills - just good service, results, and good value. I have been using Fantastik Nails for nearly a year now, and have to say I have never had a bad pedicure from anyone. Fantastik Nails is spacious, clean, and calm, exactly what I want when I visit a nail salon. If my appointment is scheduled at 4, it happens at 4. I wish it were closer to my home, but I can't find a place here that is as clean and relaxing. There are no garishly painted walls, or odd tv channels with weird subtitles that I am forced to watch. It's a spa that is spa-like, and the prices are reasonable. And the staff is always nice. No complaints in nearly a year now. read more

It took a total of 20 minutes for both to be completed- the tech rushed through everything, did not massage or cut my cuticles, and didn't wait for coats to dry before slapping on a thick second layer. The nail salon was clean and neat. People there were very kind and helpful. My sister and I both received gel manicures. They came out great and we really liked them. My sister got these little studs on her nails and it was nice, but an hour later, a few them fell off. She wasn't even doing anything and they fell off. Few hours later, one finger of mine, started to peel. It was really disappointing. I think if you are going for a basic manicure they are fine, but do not go for gel. read more

HORRIBLE! i never write reviews but this place was bad! I made an appointment for myself and 3 students i work with for 3 manicures and a full set. I arrived on time for my appointment @4. They made us all wait until 5pm to begin our manicures!! then they informed me that i would have to wait until 545for a full set due to only one person knowing how to do acrylic nails. After finally sitting down for my full set the woman who was doing my nails burned me with the sander, and proceeded to convince me to get a manicure because they were closing. I informed her i have waited two hours and I'm not getting a manicure, and she should have let me know over the phone before i arrived. THEY TOLD ME SHE NEVER DOES ACRYLIC NAILS AND THIS IS HER SECOND TIME! My nails came out terrible, they were all different lengths and widths the paint was all over my skin. She did not put lotion on my hands so my skin was dry and covered in acrylic. I left repainted my nails and filed them... Manicures- Were rushed, because i was with young girls they painted designs on there fingers (my girls didn't ask for designs) when it came time to pay they charged me $3 a nail! This place is a complete rip off, the staff were doing each others nails and my manicurist actually said she was "pissed" she had to stay ! I WILL NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!!!! read more

Don't go here for a wax. I would give it 1 star if not for the extremely cheap price. In fact, the price I paid given that this place is in Concord, should have been an indication of the quality. Nothing was uncomfortable really, except that the aesthician didn't say one word to me (but that's not the worse that can happen at a wax...) the bad part was that my hair grew back within a week! That means she didn't actually pull out the hair at all, she just broke it off at the skin's surface! Not worth it, pay $20 more and you'll be much much happier. read more

I was extremely disappointed and would caution folks who are thinking of getting a pedicure or waxing not to go here. The service is not very friendly and there is a weird feeling that the employees may not be treated well or paid fairly? The towels for the waxing were not clean and the wax looked overused. Mai said it was very 'special' wax, but it caused a rash and the hair grew back quite quickly. The footbaths are not cleaned very hygenically and while I was waiting I saw an employee empty the tub half heartedly swipe and refill! Ick. Would definitely not go back. read more
