I used to love Exotic Nails. Stopped going there for about two years and recently returned to get a gel manicure. The whole vibe has changed there from the staff to the brand of gel polish which is very limited and no longer OPI. My manicure lasted 3 days before it chipped and I wasn't hard on my nails at all. It's been 10 days and another nail chipped a third off! This is completely nuts and I might as well have lit $40 on fire. Sorry, but this place is in serious decline. read more

Horrible customer service Been going there for years got my nails done then a different women for my feet the for was burning my toes with a drill taking off polish when I told her it her she get mad and threw my foot in the water and walked off Then anther girl took over. Sadly I'm finding a new salon after being a customer for several years. Today was the final straw when my daughter and I showed up for our mani/pedis booked 2 wks prior. The receptionist stated she only had me down for one appointment. I explained I booked them at the same time and TRIED to show her my booking confirmation as well as text reminders. She didn't even want to see it and said she could not accommodate. I even offered to stagger our appointments, switch my daughters nail tech and was flat out told no. If this was the first time this had happened, I could understand, but it has happened repeatedly, which is not okay (calling, online, it doesn't matter) To not even try to rectify the situation for a customer who frequents every 2-3 weeks, was appalling. I've noticed a steady decline in service the last couple of years, but nothing like this. I've been with Kasey for a long time, she does amazing work, but I refuse to keep patronizing a business that has no regard for their clients time, and is not at all accommodating, even when the error is clearly on their end. We ended up calling Posh Nail and Spa in Stow and they were more than happy to accommodate us. read more

I went for a much needed pedicure today 6/8/2023. I had foot surgery in august 2022 and have had a very hard time with recovery. I went today around noon, was taken in about 5 mins after I got there.I have to say, this was the most enjoyable pedicure I've had. Excellent nail spot! I came is for a gel manicure/pedicure at 1:30 PM on a Thursday and had no wait. It was somewhat busy, but they could contain the clientele. I had the suggested deluxe pedicure and it was worth every dollar. 3 weeks ago I went and got a gel fill for my nails. 3 days after an entire nail fell off. Kathleen the manager was wonderful! I went 4 days ago to get another fill the same woman from 3 weeks ago did my nails again and low and behold today another nail completely fell off. I am unsure why this continues to happen. I am not rough on my hands I don't bang them around. But I am extremely disappointed that this has now happened twice to me. I love everything about this salon but I have never had this happen in all my years of getting my nails done. Especially 2 times in a matter of a month. Great with any color and type (gel, SNS) and a master of designs and details! I've seen her create amazing works of detailed art. Bring any ideas and designs to her, she'll wow you! =) Waxing: the least painful facial wax! I usually get very red skin after waxing, but with her gentle touch, I am pink for 15min and then no evidence! I've had some 3.5/4 star experiences with other technicians at this salon, although most are wonderful! I went online and made a second appointment with the same woman for today. I received 3 text message reminders about my appointment. I got there and waited for 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me- I had to finally interrupt the manager and let her know I was waiting. She claimed she had no record of my appointment. She looked at the messages on my phone and then told me to have a seat and they would try to fit me in! Come to find out, the woman I had made an appointment with wasn't even there. Appeared to be very clean, all the tools looked like they were sterilized in an autoclave. Kim did a vert nice job on my nails and paid careful attention to detail. I really appreciate that after she was finished she filed around the nail to separate any settled gel from the surrounding skill, which is something I noticed other salons don't always do. I ended up getting my eyebrows done as well and it was fast, efficient, and well done. The salon was beautiful and well styled to be modern. They were well staffed and able to accommodate me with a 15 min prior phone call as well as the last minute addition of the wax. Thank you, Kim for your beautiful work! It doesn't go unappreciated. I have only great things to say about this salon! Huge gel and polish selection, kind staff, really nicely decorated. The gel mani is pretty low-frill but the price is right. Pedis have a range of options depending on how much you want to treat yo self. I've gotten so many compliments on my nails after just the two times I've gotten a gel mani here.
