To Whom it may concern: I would like to speak about my experience today at your nail salon. This was my second time here today and I was very appalled by the lack of professionalism that took place. I would like to start off by saying my friend and I live in the area and we were looking for a new nail place to make our regular spot since the one at Solomon pond has closed down. We had a very great experience our first time here and that is why we decided to come back. Well today 8/16, my friend and I had an appointment at 12:30 but I arrived early because I knew I would have to soak my nails to get the dip off. I was greeted by Yoon who was very pleasant. As Yoon was gathering stuff so that I can soak my nails, Jenine (or Jeny) asked if I had already washed my hands. I said I just used the bathroom and had just washed my hands so I should be fine. She turned to Dany and said in Cambodian " she just took a shit and washed her hands so she is all set." I was in shock by what she said because I am fluent in the language and understood exactly what she had said. Later on my friend came in and we were going to get a manicure together. Dany was her nail technician and Kim was mine. Dany spoke to Kim in Cambodian and said "hurry up and finish her nails because we have a walk in client and she said that she's not going to come back today if we can't take her. So hurry up and finish so that we can take her and not lose business." Kim drilled my nails 3 times to get the dip off and rushed to finish as she was told. She informed me that the boss is on vacation and Yoon overbooked people that is why everyone is going crazy. I am astonished by how rude Dani and Jenine were. My friend and I will not be returning nor will we recommend this salon to anyone. It's unfortunate because I have a friend who is getting married and had recommended this salon to her for her and her bridal party. She too was in shocked when I told her about my experience and will now be going elsewhere. I am writing this email not to get a refund but for you to speak to your staff about professionalism especially during a pandemic when I'm sure you can appreciate the business. If you are going to speak bad about a customer, at least make sure they can't understand you. We will be now taking our business to another salon. read more

This is not your typical nail salon. They have a great friendly staff and a nice clean large space. I've had three SNS manicures and two pedicures there and have found the quality to be consistent. They have a huge selection of SNS colors and do a great job with the application. The pedicures have a lot of extras (even the basic Spa Pedicure) and the prices are very reasonable. I've been to most of the nail salons in the area and have had pretty "meh" experiences so I was pleasantly surprised to find Exotic Nails. read more

Please see attached photos. This manicure was done last night. I came here after reading reviews about their dip powder manicures. This was also the only place around me I could find that did it. I called and they took me right away. This was my first time doing the dip powder. The manicure seemed to start off well enough. Then as it got closer to the end, I noticed how gritty the polish still looked. I kept waiting for her to do some "next step" that would fix that. However she just kept buffing my nails then repainting with some top coat. Not only that.. but she pulled out multiple bottles and kept swapping the brushes between bottles, mid application. Basically i walked out of there with gritty looking nails, that weren't the color in the swatch, some nails are darker than others. Just a mess. The tech was a sweetheart and the facility was nice, but this was a rip off for 40$ plus tip. read more

Had my first experience at this salon this evening and am pretty impressed by the quality and level of service! I hadn't made an appointment prior to arriving but they were able to seat me quickly. Everyone was attentive and friendly. I brought my own polish but it looked like they had a pretty good selection. I requested a straight-forward manicure ($15, not bad!) and the woman who did my nails was super careful and thorough. The interior was clean and well lit, no complaints! Had an appointment today for a full set. I was seen on time, even though they were very busy. Very clean nail salon, and every employee there was working diligently. Comfy chairs with individual pillows- definite bonus for me after a long day at work! I've been to SO MANY nail places where the employees seem more into their phones than the customer, and almost seemed too bothered to work! Exotic Nails is a breath of fresh air! I am sooooo disappointed with this salon! The first two pedicures I had done were great. The atmosphere is very spa-like and it is very clean. The third visit I made was a disaster. I was taken 20 minutes after my appointment time and then was rushed. My polish was sloppily done and I was told to come back to have it redone as they were closing. When I went back, I was treated roughly and it was still not done well. I went back for another appointment and was treated very roughly again and the pedicure did not last long at all. They need to get back to treating customers the way they did when they first opened. read more

I love this salon! The people are kind, the work is beautiful and sanitary, and their policies are generous. I came here with my family a few days ago to get princess mani/pedis for a bunch of small girls. They were treated very well and loved the experience. Their fingers and toes look fabulous. I chose to get a manicure too, and picked a dark purple color I later decided wasn't right for me. I went back alone the next day to have the color changed, and the manicurists insisted on fixing the color for no charge, despite the fact that I was the one to make a mistake. I selected one star, but I would give it zero if I could. They were extremely racist and disrespectful! My mom was waiting in line to get her nails done for hours, even though she made a reservation beforehand. They let white people cut in front of my mom in line and she was still kept waiting. When she went to the counter to complain, they yelled at her and told her not to come back. My mom did not get refunded for her reservation. read more

I got gel few days ago here but chipped already!! It didn't last Not even a week!!!! I am so disappointed.

If I could give them no stars I would! I started going here when they first opened and I was very happy then. As I stated going more and more the worse the service has gotten. One of the times I went they cut 5 of my nails while cutting my cuticles making them bleed and 4 of my toes. Also while I was there I went with my boyfriend and they held up his foot and called other nail techs over and pointed and laughed making him feel very uncomfortable. This last time I went was with my mom and two sisters I started my pedicure 20 minuets after them and finished at the same time. She skipped a bunch of steps. It was pretty much a polish change with my nails cut. After this last time I will not be going back there I was very upset. read more

My usual place was closed due to illness and I was leaving on vacation Sunday - working Saturday so I thought I would give them a try. Atmosphere is wonderful. Place is clean and comfortable. All work done was acceptable, however, it cost me more than double what I usually pay and I was in there for almost 3 hrs!!!! I don't have that kind of time to spend getting a pedi and gel fill. Visited on a Saturday morning, without an appointment. Waited only 15 mins before they seated me in the pedicure area. The massage chair was amazing, as was the hot neck wrap they gave me. It is spotlessly clean, and they use new or sterilized implements for each client.I had the standard pedicure, which included a hot stone massage. My technician, Son, was excellent, and I would go so far as to say this was the best pedicure I have ever had. The selection of nail colors was also very good. My daughter and I decided to try the newly opened Exotic Nails yesterday. We both received gel manicures. The facility is nicely decorated (certainly not like your average strip mall nail salon) and very clean. The technicians were professional and did a great job. I was so happy with the service that I actually decided to go back later in the day and have a pedicure with my husband. My husband and I were placed in a smaller room with just 4 pedicure chairs and given heated neck wraps. We chose the hot stone pedicure. I appreciated that all of the materials (scrubs, mud mask and moisturizer), were dispensed for each client in advance so you know there's no cross-contamination (as opposed to other salons where the technician reaches into a big container and scoops out product after they have been working on a clients feet). But, in addition to the cleanliness aspect, the pedicure itself was amazing - definitely one of the best I have ever had if not THE best (Dustin was my technician for the pedicure). This will be our "Go-to" place from now on. It may be a little bit more expensive than other places. But, it was worth the extra cost for both the quality and cleanliness. read more
