Look no further. I have found my threading salon and brow expert for life. Let me start off by saying that Navin is the absolute best in Houston at threading. She is so very careful and precise in her work because she wants to be sure she gives you what you want. She is also very honest if she believes a certain treatment will not benefit you as opposed to taking your money and going with it. Lastly, I am sure everyone that comes here can attend to her warm heart and amazing attitude. About a year ago I moved over to the cypress area and wanted to begin to come to businesses in this area as opposed to traveling back to my old neighborhood (Gulfgate) for work. I am so very particular about my eyebrows as a few years back they were waxed to a thin crisp so I had been growing them out for some time now. I looked through every single review for all the surrounding salons... every single one. I wanted to be sure my brows wouldn't be butchered again and finally decided to try our Unique Brows. I could not have made a better decision. I have been coming to Navin for well over a year now and I have never been happier with the results and service I get every single time. Every single time I step foot in the salon I am greeted by Navin by name and am asked about my day or about how my family is doing. Her recollection is astounding. She is not just asking questions for small talk. She is honestly interested in getting to know her customers. She wants to build a relationship and opens up about her family life and honest opinions on products or beauty tips. She is originally from New York where she worked for years alongside brow experts and decided to open up her own salon once she arrived in Texas. Her knowledge base is extensive. I never leave her salon without Navin's great big hug and well wishes. I will say that most people who come to the salon wish to see her exclusively so your wait might be long if threading after 4pm or weekends. It would be best to come at early or at opening. If not be prepared to wait a bit. Her conversation and apologetic intro will make up for it once you are in her chair. My results have been consistent and she even corrected the outside of my brows where they had been thinned out before. Over the course of the year my brows have been getting considerably thicker and have now evened out on both sides. I would not trust my brows with anyone else other than Navin. She also has a loyalty card that she signs every time you come into the salon and by the time you reach your 10th visit, it is free. I could not be happier. read more

I have been trying out quite a few places to get my brows and waxing done and were never really happy with any of the places so far. The other day by chance I come across this place, UNIQUE BROWS and I am so happy I did cause I had a great first experience, more then I expected being the first time. Navin's place was so much more different then many places because most places when they see other customers they tend to rush with what they are doing not caring that they could mess up in the process, but over here Navin was calm, relaxed and took her time to complete the job she had in hand and until she felt satisfied that I was happy with what she did, only then she charged me. I have been going to see Navin since last year, I actually followed her from the previous threading salon she came from. She left to open up her own place (Unique Brows) and for good reason! She came from NYC where she got exceptional training and came to Houston to follow her aspirations and create a place of her own. Her customer service just takes her skills to the next level. I am on a different side of town today and needed a place to go to today. It wasn't busy, very clean. The lady needs to work in her bedside manner. I had to ask her to hang up her phone conversation. I don't care how experienced you are; the customer needs to know they have your full attention when you're working on their face. Other than that she did a good job, she didn't speak much. I had to ask her to trim up my brows after she was done. She didn't offer lotion or witch hazel. Even though, my face being very sensitive and is obviously bright red. She assumed I had been there before because when I walked to the register, she just stared at me until I asked how much. I may need to come back when Navin is available. Unfortunately Houston traffic stops me from driving an hour or maybe even more just to get my eyebrows done. I LOVE this place! I'd been going to another salon for a few years but as of late the service had gone down and with that the thinning of my eyebrows. The location is nice and clean with lots of parking and plenty of seating for while you wait. The restrooms are clean and the wait time from my own experience is never more than maybe 10-15 minutes. Naven is an absolute gem. She is incredibly sweet and attentive. I let her know exactly what I was looking for along with all my concerns and eyebrow complaints. She helped me come up with a temporary solution to make my brows look fuller while setting me up to help them grow into the fuller shape I was looking for. I found this little hidden treasure on my way to Chipotle one evening and decided to go try it out the following morning. This morning I went into the place and it was decorated very nicely. The environment was very clean and inviting. The two threading ladies both greeted me as I walked in. I felt very welcomed. I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes (because I was a walk in and the other ladies in the chairs were basically getting their whole faces threaded.) Anywho, when I got in the chair, the lady begin to thread. NEVER in my few months of threading have I ever had someone pay so much attention to my eyebrows. This lady took her time and made sure every move she made was small and correct. I've went to other eyebrow threading places in Houston where I've payed $8, $15, even $25 for eyebrow threading because these were the "best of the best places in Houston" to go, but NEVER has any eyebrow technician paid as much or close to detail attention as this lady. Typically my eyebrows are usually left really red and my eyes water a ton because of the pulling that some eyebrow techs do, but I did NOT have that problem here. I mean TOP QUALITY SERVICE AND VERY DETAIL ORIENTED. When the lady was done with my eyebrows she put some soothing thing on it. At these other "best of the best eyebrow" places in Houston where you are paying $8,$15,$25 and up for threading services have I ever had a technician put this soothing thing on my eyebrows. Unique eyebrows is top notch and very affordable. You can't beat $6 for eyebrow threading! Best place to get your eyebrows done, I am a guy and I wanna take good care of my looks and this is the best place to come do that. The service is extremely amicable and quick, small talk is included with your service, people who are there to listen to you and make conversation and even get to know you. Went there for the first time for brow threading and tinting. Im really happy about the thread but the tinting was a little disappointing. Overall I will go back but only for threading. She kind of wiped all of the tint off when she was removing the tint. My brows are kind of thin and I wanted to extend a little but this wasn't the case. read more

My first experience was great. Three weeks after, I returned to get my brows threaded again. I was taken to a chair and employee began working on my brows. In the middle of it all, she went to talk to another employee to ask for help, I assume. Because after that exchange, the person she was talking to came over and finished up my eyebrows. I'm sure the second person to work on my brows was trying to fix the first person's mistakes. One eyebrow was significantly thinner than the other, and one was arched while the other was rounded. I left very unhappy. But I will return once my brows grow back again to give them another chance. I wouldn't want to discount the whole establishment due to one bad experience. read more

I love coming to this place because of the low prices for quality service and results, but this particular time I went, one of the ladies was a bit rough while threading. After I got home, I noticed a swelling bump under my eyebrow which began stinging and which later on turned into a scab. My mother and I went to "unique brows" and they RUINED my moms eyebrows the lady LIED and said she didn't cut my moms eyebrows she cut half literally half of my moms eyebrows off she left them HORRIBLY DONE and she instead she didn't when she obviously did!!
