Nhi (Mia) gives me the exact look I ask for which is so important bc many techs go overboard since they're used to a certain look. I personally like a more natural look with the classic set and she does it so beautifully! You can see from other pictures though that she's also great at more dramatic looks too! I was also shocked the first time I got a fill, It's pretty standard for technicians to stick to a certain time-frame when doing your lashes so if they don't get to them all you just don't have a complete/full set. When arrived, she greeted me nicely and asked for me to sit down. She put a throw blanket on me since it was a little chilly coming from outside. I have never had my lashes done on a recliner chair before! This was the first, and I was very comfortable! All the lash places I have ever been to have clients lay on the foldable beds with a pillow to prop up your legs. It causes my lower back to hurt. I asked for Sakina as the other reviews mentioned, and she's wonderful. She engages in communication, and offers knowledge and tips on skin care and your specific eyebrows. I was told she only works Wed-Sun by another staff when I dropped in a few days prior and she wasn't there. I was greeted when I walked in (a plus) and they have a bunch of specials/deals. For example, $60 for unlimited eyebrow/upper lip for 3 months. I just got my eyebrows done only and it was $8. However, if you use anything other than cash such as debit or credit, the limit has to be $10 so they just swipe for $10. Oh yeah, no appointment needed either. I was offered a beverage and was served a sparking water with a lemon slice in a pink textured glass with a napkin on a gold tray! The nail techs wear scrubs so that's cool. And it doesn't matter to me which nationality, or the color of your skin, or the language you speak, but because it has become the norm to expect Asians at nail salons, I would like to let you know that this is run by people that I think are Russian, but I don't really know. It's not important to me. Just mentioning because it's different. It was so relaxing! If you've been to paint nail bar, it's like that, but elevated! I had a pedicure and it was excellent. The attention to detail and delicate movements was far beyond expectations. A few weeks ago I went to Milano's (I think I spelled it correctly. It's where Kristi's Nails was in the HEB center at jones and west. Anyway, horrible. They have such a 'tude and it was horrible - especially the painting of toes). TBH if you've looking for vibrating chairs, someone to dig out ingrown nails, and something wild, this is not for you. I would not think my husband would like it. He wants the vibrating chairs! If you're looking for serenity and care, then this is for you. It felt like Woodhouse Day Spa. And they do not use the foot grater, which I stopped doing a few years ago when I realized it was actually causing more roughness.
