Hanni takes her craft seriously, and did a beautiful job microblading and shading (the tail) of my eyebrows. It was my first time, so I was nervous. I was afraid that they would be too dark and glamorous. They look so natural and frame my face! It took about three hours, and did not hurt. Im addicted and you will be too once you start. That's okay. Not to fret. The amount of time I spend getting my lashes refilled every two weeks is exponentially rewarded by how short my morning routine is now. I no longer have to wear mascara and look alive even with no makeup on. At the same time, the ladies at Magnolia keep my lashes looking somewhat natural because that's what I ask for. If you're looking for drama - they've got that too. I've not been to any other lash studio, so I can't compare Magnolia to anyone else. However, I can say that I probably won't ever go anywhere else. I've been coming to Co Thu to get my lashes done since July/August of last year on a friends recommendation. I have my lash lady I've been going to for years and was out of town and at first I was really hesitant because I don't let anyone do my lashes. I had given Co Thu a try when she was down in Bellaire at HK and now I followed her here. Her work is amazing it's the reason why I keep going to her considering she is out in Cypress and I live in towards downtown. I take that trip for her. The salon is super super nice, like posh like. I had posted pictures a while back. The ambience is nice, very relaxing music, though at times it does get a little loud if you're out in the front with people talking. Especially if you're trying to take a nap. Or unless you're that person who wants to stay awake that entire 1.5-2 hours by all means more power to ya. My lashes are super full and lushes! I LOVE IT. I get my lashes really full and it is pricy but you pay for what you get. And I take really good care of my lashes.I don't rubbed them constantly, if my eyes itch I would just try to rub my lids and not the lashes. It breaks my heart to have to give them such a low rating. The establishment itself is beautiful and the first few refills were amazing...but the last two refills not so much. I felt like my lash tech was distracted. She left me on the table after getting a text message and I think she went to bathroom. The reaction was severe, swollen, red, itchy, crazy looking. And sometime my lash techs hands were very dirty so much so that where she laid her Palm I got pimples right after. I take care of my lashes religiously. Don't sleep on the them, silk pillowcase, take biotin and college. The last two times my lash tech was so distracted she glued my lashes to me skin. I had to go to a more reputable artist to get th removed. At that removal, my new lash tech said that I did not have mega lashes as I requested. Now my lashes are super short. I am super disappointed. Please do your research and go with a self employed artist who is picky with who she works on and will take her time, instead of a salon with 6 "lash techs " being over worked. I will not be returning to Magnolia. My lashes stubby and tiny when before the were long and dark Oh also the lashes that they told me I was getting were not correct. my new lash tech showed me the difference and I don't know she also told me that it was too heavy for my lashes that are natural look would be better read more

I personally used to use the Amazing Lash Membership but did not enjoy the services or the way the billing happened. So I cancelled and decided to go to Magnolia lash and brow. I love the work every lady does here and you can come for a 2 week or 3 week refill and it's only $5 more on the refill cost if you come a week late (as in 3 week) the music is calming and they are very flexible. Originally, I had my brows tattooed at another salon by 290 (Tina) and that salon messed up my brow & shape. I went to Han (Magnolia Lash&Brow) to have her fix my brow. Han has such amazing skill, you cannot tell that my brows were messed up by another salon, plus it looks so natural. At first I had the original 3D, and Han fixed with with microblading and more shading at the end of the arch. Hannie provided the BEST eyebrow tattooing experience ever!!! I used to get my eyebrows tattooed by someone also in Cypress with lots of reviews (hint hint), but every time I go there, it was never a good experience and the person didn't even care if I was satisfied either. (She was too busy to tweak after she's done and freely showed annoyance when I asked her to fix the parts I didn't like) So, when someone told me about Hannie, I jumped on the opportunity and gave her a try. Best decision ever! Hannie is so amazing! When you go in, she takes time to design the brows, she makes sure to apply numbing cream effectively so I'm not uncomfortable (Pain was so well managed, I got to fall asleep!), and after she's done, she takes time to inspect her work with me and tries to fix as much as possible. These qualities were nonexistent with "the person I used to go to". I recommend Hannie to anyone looking for permanent makeup service. She'll make you happy especially with free touch up! *1 star off of the rating is that this place could use more social distancing measures. I've been to this place twice. The first time, I was relaxed dressed and treated as if I didn't deserve the time of day. TODAY I come in after work in scrubs (thinking, if I came back looking more appropriate and as if I could afford the services offered, I would be treated fairly-WRONG) inquiring about microblading. Again, I was halfway spoken to and told I could go look at the pictures on Instagram if I wanted to see the work. I was not given a link or EVEN at least greeted with a smile. I don't understand how this establishment has such high ratings. But if you're looking for a place to get your brows threaded and/or tinted, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. I know the pain from threading can be a lot, but the pain from getting them threaded was 100x worse here. I even have a few small scabs from how rough and thin the thread was and that has never happened to me. I also explained to the lady that I didn't want the tint to make my eyebrows look thick, I just wanted it to follow my natural shape and she did the complete opposite of what I wanted. After I told her that it wasn't what I wanted, she took a defensive stance and said "I have done this for 10+ years, I know what I'm doing". If she knew what she was doing, she wouldn't make the tint so thick on someone that it doesn't suit them. Choose another place, don't waste your time here. read more

A few months back I decided to try this place since I saw the yelp reviews and they were great. I saw Jazmin whom did a classic style lash for $45-55 (can't recall the exact amount) and she explain to me that I needed to go back every 2-3 weeks in order to maintain a "full look." Some of my co-workers get theirs refilled every 4-5 weeks (at a different location), so I figure that I could schedule my refill in 3 weeks. Five days after my first application the lashes started falling out, by the 3 week mark I had very few (about 25% left). When I went to get my refill they charged me extra for that extra week of not having a refill as they had originally recommended; which to Jazmin's credit she did explain that during my first appointment. The second set looked amazing; 4 days later, the lashes look sparse... by the second week my lashes looked horrible so I scheduled my apoointment. I explained to them the issue and they recommended I get the "mega style" which they were a lighter set of lashes; a bit more expensive, but according to them worth it. It took Jazmin 1 hr and 15 min to do one eye and 40min to do the other. She said this set of lashes takes longer to since she had to manually create "the fan." I got really anxious during this applications since your eyes are shut and I couldn't move... she explained that she will give me a "fuller look" next time I have "more time." I left there, got it my car and the lashes where uneven and they looked odd. I was frustrated with this experience since I wasted 2 hours and about $70 and I was very unpleased with the look and feel of the new lashes. On the positive note, This set did last the full 2 weeks, so I decided to give it one last try with a different technician. I walked it and Jacquelyn did the "mega look" and it looked better than ever; I was in and out in an hour and didn't experience any issues while I was there. She's high energy and pretty entertaining somI left feeling great. Fast forward, two weeks later about 80% of my lashes were gone, so I decided to take a closer look (literally) at my natural lashes with a magnifying mirror and come to find out that my natural lashes are gone! I have naturally long (about 1cm long or perhaps longer lashes) and strong (but straight lashes); however, I have areas where I don't have any lashes and where I do they are about 1/8" long. I'm so upset about this whole experience! I wasted my time, $ and my natural lashes. The staff was really nice and their customer service was really good as well; i just don't understand why they wouldn't tell me that I was loosing my natural lashes and that this was the reason as to why the fake ones were falling off. read more
