Yummy and Unique!! Stopped here on our way to AZ based on previous Yelpers. Yay! So glad we did!! My family loved what they ordered. Very sharable portions so we could try more stuff. Amazing eatery! They have such a vast, diverse menu that you're pretty likely to find something that piques your interest and that you'll enjoy. I got the shrimp burrito and it was delicious! It was honestly one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. There wasn't that strong of a shrimp flavor or perhaps there was but the other amazing flavors drowned it out. Each bite was a moment of bliss. Since it was at the perfect hot temperature, there were amazing cheesy string pulls. What's more is that the peppers, onions, and garlic really sent me to flavor town. The rice was also cooked well and wasn't too dry or watery. I ate the whole thing and it was extremely feeling. The water was super crisp and fresh tasting which is always a major plus. Service was excellent. They seem to have a steady flow of regulars while we were there so that was great to see. I wish I lived in Indio just so I could get this burrito on a regular basis. read more

WHAT A GREAT FIND!!! Looked up places to eat near me, picked this based on reviews and so glad we did. This little place is AMAZING and staff is soooo incredibly friendly. We had the fried shrimp sandwich and pulled pork based off her recommendations. We are coming back for the brisket as other diners were saying how amazing it was! My partner and I have been coming here for the better part of 2 years and we have nothing but the best to say about this place. The staff is welcoming, friendly and have an overall great attitude when it comes to pleasing the customers. Great spot with multiple vegan/vegetarian options. Friendly service in a casual setting where you order at the counter. I had the cauliflower sandwich which was very tasty with avocado in a delicious soft bun. I would have loved it even more if the cauliflower was roasted/grilled rather than battered and deep fried but that's just preference. Be sure to ask for their dipping sauces. Im ashamed to say i live down the street and never went in . Today i was in the mood for something different. Different is what I got . Home tasting , cooked with pride food . I ordered the meat and spaghetti. Delicious.! I like things a little more spicy so I have to admit I added a little salt, but it was very very good if you want honest home cooked food give them a try. Well this place has five stars for a reason. The service is second to none and the shrimp salad was delicious. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Several tables spaced out giving you ample room to enjoy your meal and easy listening music overhead. Worth your time. read more

We were so happy to find a place that is not a chain! I knew we scored as soon as I saw the menu. There are some homestyle meals that look very tasty and are not found just anywhere. We had the brisket and pulled pork. The meat was generous and flavorful. I liked the large slice of french bread that was served with it. The potatoes were not cold or warm so I'm not sure what they were supposed to be. It's a simple place and the prices are reasonable. What would I change? Add a green vegetable or give a choice and offee REAL butter for the bread. Afterall, they pride themselves on providing freshly prepared food and not off the shelf. read more

We grabbed a quick bite here tonight. I've had this place bookmarked for so long and just haven't had a chance to try their food. Their customer service was phenomenal. They were really kind and it was like being at an actual restaurant. We sat outside and it had nice ambiance. Would highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich. I also loved how they offered asparagus which was really tasty. Fries and mashed potatoes were yummy. The shrimp burrito was good. It comes out really hot so unfortunately I got full on everyone else's food before I could really try mine read more

My family and I were visiting the area for a week long vacation. After a busy day at the salton sea, we were looking for a restaurant that was one of a kind, offered a variety of food for different lifestyles, and were dog friendly. I'm so happy we stopped by! They truly had it all! Some of members of my family are vegetarian and this restaurant offered many options that were interesting and new! I had their Philly sandwich. AMAZING! Service was so great! This is some solid home cooking. I got the lamb burger and substituted their tomato & feta salad in place of fries. She got the burger with cheddar cheese and the fries. Both burgers were hand-made, flavorful, and filling (as in, this lunch meant we just snacked for dinner). The tomato/feta salad and the fries were really good too. Service from Sonia (sp?) was welcoming and informative! It was our first visit, but we can't wait to come back and try their BBQ offerings. read more

We are always looking for a vegan-friendly place to stop when driving east from California to Arizona. This place is easy to get to from the highway, and has a really great menu that should satisfy vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike! Checks all the boxes. First and foremost, very very good food. Best food of your life? Maybe not but I also couldn't say a single thing wrong with any of the dishes I had so it's still a 9 or 10 for me. Service was stellar - Sonia (not sure if she is staff or owner) was a true delight, and very helpful. Provided me with great service, the kind that makes you want to come back and support! We went on Friday evening & they had live entertainment which created a very loud ambiance so we chose to eat outside which was basically "curbside" so cars were coming & going & headlights on us, etc. They're pricey but the food is very good. Wife loved the Fried Cauliflower sandwich & my Brisket sandwich was hearty & flavorful. The Seared Asparagus was out of this world & the mashed potatoes, skin included, were delicious. Gluten-free! Not everything, but most things can be made Gluten-free. My favorite was being able to have both the creamy chicken and the cheesey lentil soup! Creamy sauces and soups are always forbidden, but not here!!! I got a kid sized chicken and the cheesey soup and combined them like a curry. 10 out of 10 highly recommend! They gave a cute little play area with some toys for the little ones to entertain themselves while you wait or while the adults socialize over bottomless drinks. read more

While in the area for work, we stopped by to try this place. It is very clean and open, with plenty of natural light. Great ambiance. The staff is very friendly and makes sure that you get everything you need. Our order was accurate, free of mistakes. I came across the Yelp reviews and pictures online, which is why we decided to try the food. We ordered the brisket, pot roast, ground beef spaghetti, and stuffed bread. The brisket was very dry and lacking in flavor. The pot roast sounded amazing to me until I took a bite and realized it was lacking in flavor as well. I added salt to salvage it. It only made a small difference. The mashed potatoes were dry and crumbly with hardly any salt. The ground beef spaghetti was actually decent in flavor. However, nothing special, as it tasted like homemade spaghetti. The stuffed bread seemed like a great idea, but both options were okay. Again, a little salt goes a long way with flavor. I felt like we paid for hospital food. read more

One steak came with a loaded baked potato and grilled onions, another came with steak fries and grilled onions, and mine came with mashed potatoes with brown gravy and grilled onions. All of our steak dinners were $14.99 during the Early Dine special. We also ordered the grilled pork chop dinner with grilled onions and sautéed mushrooms. At first, we thought the steaks looked small, but they were surprisingly filling. We also ordered the Cactus Blossom with Cajun sauce, and it was a great appetizer. We all ordered our steaks medium-well. Every restaurant cooks steaks a little differently, so the doneness can vary. Mine was a little tougher than I prefer, but the rest of my family really enjoyed theirs. For drinks, the kids had the Red Raspberry Lemonade and the Blue Crush Lemonade. My husband had a Coke, and I had an unsweetened iced tea. We had the best waiter ever! He took excellent care of our family. I believe his name was Cesar at the Indio location. He was friendly, attentive, and made our first visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I really liked Texas Roadhouse, especially for a chain restaurant. If I'm back in town, we will definitely return. The kids loved it! A special shout out to our waiter, Cesar, for going above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable.

We also ordered a drink that was supposed to include egg white, but it was served without it. After having issues with four dishes and a drink during the same visit, we felt that something was clearly off with the kitchen and bar that evening. We asked the owner, who was sitting next to us at the bar, whether the chef had changed because it seemed like the restaurant was simply having an off night. What happened next was even more disappointing. At first, the owner pretended that he wasn't the owner and said that he knew nothing about the restaurant. After overhearing our continued discussion about the quality of the food and drinks, he confronted us and said, "We don't need patrons like you at our restaurant. There are plenty of other restaurants for you to eat at. Why don't you just leave?" We were not being disrespectful or unreasonable--we were simply disappointed with the food and drinks and trying to understand what had happened. Being spoken to that way by the owner was insulting, completely uncalled for, and genuinely hurtful. I do want to make one thing very clear: the staff and bartenders who work at Cork & Fork were wonderful. They felt terrible about what happened and made it clear that they believed the owner's behavior toward us was completely inappropriate. After we left, several staff members actually followed us outside to apologize on behalf of the owner for the way he had spoken to us. Their kindness and concern were greatly appreciated, and this review is not a reflection of them. There are many excellent restaurants in La Quinta, and based on this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere. We would strongly suggest considering the many other fine establishments in La Quinta before choosing Cork & Fork.

This I've gotta say is a true hidden gem. We decided to come here for a make shift birthday dinner and was pleasantly surprised by what they have to offer. It a small space with about 4 tables give or take one. It's a bit of gourmet with a little bit of home cooking which is really nice. On to the food.
