I love shopping at UNIQLO stores even before they're in California. I shopped at every UNIQLO store when I saw them around, and I shopped online at uniqlo.com too. However, this one, I hope, is this one only. Not the entire chain is started misleading the price tags on the shelves! UNIQLO is the same as any retail store. They have promotional items to help attract people who want to buy the products for better value and pick up a few more things when they're in the store. This store puts a big on-sale price in front of the items to make you think everything on the shelves is on sale. They attract so many customers to pick up the items because of the excellent quality and price. However, when you pay for the items at the cashier counter, they are scanned with the regular price. We caught it, and the answer is the sale price is for different colors. I saw the customer next to me run into the same situation. What colors are on sale? The answer is I'm not sure. How come it doesn't say on the signs? How come one of the colors we took is right behind the on-sale sign is not the color on sale? What's wrong with this store? I hope this is not the whole Uniqlo chain. I'll try another Uniqlo next time, or I'm no longer shop in this company if the entire company is doing the same crazy thing! read more

Uniqlo used to have great pants, sweaters, hoodies and sweat pants. Uniqlo was my go to for these items. Now it doesn't matter what time of year it is they are always out of stock of the items I liked. Uniqlo needs to adequately stock their stores and warehouses. Why email me a promo for products which are unavailable? Uniqlo should also increase selection so you dont have to chose from the same dismal selection of drab colors. Their colors used to be better but now its awful; guess it doesn't matter they are always out of stock of everything I want to buy. read more

I got the free alterations done on my new pleated pants at this uniqlo (a free service they offer)...in theory this was a great idea. You buy the pants, and then they can alter it for you in about 30-45min. Walked around the mall to pass time. It was great until I saw how they turned out...I refuse to wear these in public until i get them fixed elsewhere (hopefully this can be fixed...). I spoke with the customer support people, and they said that since it was altered, I cannot return them/be refunded new pants. If you're looking to get alterations done, it is more worth your time to get them altered elsewhere. Had I known this would have happened, i would have never agreed to get them altered here. Truly a terrible and traumatic experience. $100 down the drain! update: i contacted UNIQLO customer service and i sent them these pictures. they said someone would contact me within 24-48hrs. it's been 4 days and no reply. Absolutely horrible return policy! I bought an item for my daughter at another store since I was out there visiting some people and wanted to return it to this store which is closer to my home since she did not like it. Apparently you have to go back to the same store you purchased the item in to get a full refund. The cashier didn't even say sorry. No empathy at all! So buyer beware, if you go on vacation and shop at Uniqlo and decide to return your item when you get home? No can do! You must go back to the original store! read more

A great place to buy basic clothing that you need because it feels comfy, lightweight and it's cool to wear even for very hot weather. The shopping experience is pleasant and relaxing too, and customer associates are energetic and feel happy to help you out if you have any questions about sizes, the clothing you normally wear. Although their colors are more neutral, dark, and tame, their textile technology and designs are trendy and logical at the same time. Another great location to shop at is Uniqlo. My 2nd best location to shop at Uniqlo whenever I am in the area. I love their clothing here especially the tees, jeans, pants, underwear like tank tops, camiseta, leggings and their parkas are light with trendy and unusual colors. Great place to buy some basic tees or jeans. Items tend to wear well and look good over time. Quick, pleasant shopping experience with energetic people working to help you. I am a fan of the basic plain tees from here. I've had a few in dark colors and even though I don't use the most delicate laundry methods - they still look good after a year or two. Jeans are a great value given the selvedge option - but the pockets are a little too small for me. Anything you buy here I would almost bet will fit better than at other places. People working here are awesome. The store was perfectly organized and one guy even helped me figure out exactly what I had bought before so I could buy more. I waited just a couple of minutes to check out. I appreciate any store that is run so well. read more

Beware that if you change your mind on your purchase, you'll have to travel back to the store you bought it from. What a lousy policy for a chain store. So basically you're telling me to go shop somewhere else because if I change my mind, I'm not welcome. I wasted two extra hours on a beautiful sunny Saturday just to return something I decided I didn't want anymore. In addition, if you buy something online with their website, forget about returning it conveniently in a store. Just throw it away or pay shipping to return it, which could cost more than the actual item. We somehow made it to the grand opening of this store and scored a free canvas tote bag. If you are here anytime this Labor Day weekend, they have Taiko Drum performances scheduled about every hour, on the hour, in the evening. There are day time performances too on the weekend but you'll have to call to check for hours. This is not a huge store, but it has a great selection for women, men and children. I was shopping with a short-attention-span child, so I was only able to make purchases for him. I found that they had a lot of great outer wear options for kids, and I am eyeing some long sleeve shirts for the coming cold weather. I also found that i love their entire color palette, for kids and for adults! Fortunately for them, but unfortunately for me, the appealing colors will cause me to spend more money here throughout time. I ended up purchasing a puffy vest and puffy parka with hood for $50 before tax. The parka was mislabeled on sale so when I was charged the wrong price I went back to ask about it. The employee I spoke to explained that the item was not on sale, BUT it was their mistake so they honored the sale price that I saw without any hassle. I appreciated his response and I look forward to shopping here again (and again). read more

I love Uniqlo. For their clothing, I'd give 5 stars. I kid you not, I have their blazers, jackets, sweatshirts, thermos, shirts, t-shirts, jeans, work pants, underwear, and socks. My whole outfit could be Uniqlo (minus shoes). My wife got me into Uniqlo and I never looked back. I shop in Uniqlo when I'm here, in Hong Kong, Japan, or Taiwan. Since the store started out in Japan, I feel their clothing fits Asians like me just a tad better and I certainly like their style. Heattech and Airism may be marketing schemes, but hey, I'm a sucker for that. Their 12-floor store in Tokyo was simply amazing. Ahh, good times! For this particular store, I'd give 4 stars. For a store in a mall, they are usually not too busy most of the time that I visit. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. They do smile and greet when they see you. One thing I don't like about Uniqlo stores... not sure if it's just here or in general: I can't contact the local stores and ask to hold an item. I called their toll-free number and was told (think by someone in the Philippines) that the stores don't have phones. Maybe just not phones for the public to contact. Thus, it's a bit frustrating when I try to track down an item with my size and color when it's out of stock online. They do tell you if a particular store has it, but what if it's out by the time I get there (wasted trip) or it was an inventory error? Sigh. #FirstWorldProblems. Lol read more

Positives: Lon H perfectly summarized what I was going to say. I've shopped at Uniqlo in so many places - Milpitas, San Jose, Pleasanton, even South Korea. They carry all sorts of clothes, some functional, some funky, some cool, some cute....I enjoy perusing all of these. If I can't find something online in the store, then I buy online from them. As an Asian who's got the typical Asian frame and into more Asian wear than American wear (jeans for instance), Uniqlo is probably my favorite clothing retailer EVER. Uniqlo even has free alteration (based on a few extra factors). Negatives: I just wish the prices weren't that high...a little pricey for non t-shirts when I went through the selection at the Pleasanton location. I bought 2 slim fit Chino pants and the total including tax, was about $87. I mean, I aim to use the clothes according to their sign on the wall - Life Wear, but still....some of the clothes are super pricey. read more

I had my last and final interaction with this slowly dying brand. They started off with very nice well-made basics that had a good price and good sales but have now turned into the place in which everything is overpriced and nothing really fits well. To be honest their sizing was never really good in the first place. But then I make a purchase online and find out that you can return it in store but only if you exchange the item for the exact amount and you can't get your money unless it's from the exact store which is online and you're going to get charged if you try to return it even in the store. This is an obvious aggressive tactic to keep your money with them as much as possible I ended up having to purchase an item worth more and then was told I could return it. After trying to return the item I was told I still can't return the item without buying more from my original online purchase. I was told all kinds of bad information from employees they blamed the Japanese corporation and the manager was not helpful at all I will no longer be buying anything from the store ever again you ripped me off and your clothing is not even well made anymore bye. The staff appeared to not care at all no one was helpful and no one knew what they were doing. read more

Ridiculous management. They touted in their app that if you want something right away, you can order it online and choose the store where you can pick it up in under 2 hours. I bought something online because my coupon I got from them only works online. I chose this Stoneridge store because it offers In-Store pick up. I also chose Pay In Store in less than an hour. The clothes that I ordered, I literally tried them on in the store so they were available there. Well guess what? When I paid in the store and asked for the merchandise that I could be literally holding, I was told by the "manager" that I have to wait for an "email confirmation". What dumb policy when in their app it says under "Order & Pick" - "Get the product you want in-store, even if it's out of stock online." Someone has missing brain cells somewhere in there. read more

Do not order online from this store. I placed an order online with store pickup. I knew the store had what I wanted in the store. I ordered store pickup to save time so I wouldn't have to wait in line. Since the store had the product, I assumed that the process would be quick. Turns out that when you order through the application or online, they send the items from their warehouse in New York rather than filling the order in the store. Thus you have to wait 5-7 business days for your items to arrive at the store. The website and application do not notify the purchaser of this major policy and delay. One assumes that a company has the intelligence and efficiency not to incur shipping fees by sending product from New York to California when the product is already in the store. While I was not charged a shipping fee, I have to wait 5-7 business days to receive the product which is several days after I needed to receive the order. The store won't let me cancel the order until they receive. As I will be out of town for a month, I won't be able to pick up the order now. They say they will return it to their warehouse in New York after the store receives the order, Then I will receive a refund. This policy is highly inefficient and very poor customer service. While they have nice products and I had intended to buy jackets for friends for Christmas and birthday presents, I now won't do business with this company again. I can not support a company that wastes its resources so completely and doesn't respect customers' time and money. read more

The manager Bonny is probably the best type of manager you could ever have to encounter when asking for assistance in a retail environment. Nice, friendly, professional, empathetic, and takes her authority/position very seriously. I tried making a return at a different store because I don't live next to this location, but I wasn't able to do it through the app, which I had no idea of until I was at the counter with everything ready to go. The store I tried to return it at was finally able to get a phone for this Uniqlo at stone ridge, and I called to see if there was a way they could possibly look up my receipt before the 30 days got closer. Bonny was the one who answered and took it very seriously even though it was something very minor she didn't HAVE to involve herself in. She went above and beyond by apologizing and said she wanted to "offer good customer service to you for this inconvenience". She texted me a picture of her business card and told me to let her know when I went to a location to return and she would talk to them personally to assist in an exception based return, as we could not locate the receipt. I have NEVER had a retail manager treat me so respectfully and be involved so closely to help with something so simple. I definitely want to give her her well deserved flowers in this instance and recognize how graceful she handled my random request. It is not often ppl can experience store managers who are so good at what they do at THIS level. Thank you again to Bonny! Although I could have just taken the L and accepted an exchange for something, she made sure that I knew she was trying hard to find my receipt. Since she couldn't, she helped me from afar to get a FULL refund with just my proof of purchase on my uniqlo app. Absolutely insane and amazing. I am so appreciative. read more

I have bought items from this exact store in the past but not recently. My father and I were shopping in the mall a day before The Fourth. The goal was to find a lightweight jacket that fit my dad. We were able to find two different jackets in this store that both fit him and were the right color. When the two of us went to the register, my dad realized the jacket was made in China. He wasn't very loud but he said he doesn't buy items made in China. Then on cue, the cashiers gossip among themselves that they all buy items made in China. All the time. We were so embarrassed. This is a very spacious, clean, and well organized clothing store! What makes it even better is that the clothes are of good quality and pretty cheap, especially when they're on sale! Since it's basically winter time, and since it tends to get super cold in the hospital, I was mainly looking for long sleeve thermals to wear under my scrubs. Mission complete. Since I'm tall woman (I'm 5'11"), I knew that the the sleeves on the women's sizes would end up being short on me so I went directly to the men's section. They had sample sizes right next to their thermals area, which made my selection process that much easier, especially since the sales associate told me that all sales are final since these items are considered underwear. (1) Jeggings - pants-ggings? *hehe* Perfect fit! It's way too long for me... but they have an in-store trimmer that will trim to make the length shorter, which I love! love! love! Takes 2 hours to do, so make sure you go to uniqlo first, buy your stuff, and get it trimmed. Wait for 2 hours while you shop! Perfect! Usually items over $20? they will trim for you for FREE... under is $5 each. (2) Service is great... but just don't like it when I cannot exchange my items for the same price??????????????????????? Was rudely treated by an employee working at this location on a Saturday afternoon. I was returning at item and wanted to make a new purchase as well that day. Uniqlo was currently offering a discount for downloading their app, which I showed to the cashier and asked if I could use on the new transaction. My cashier's name was "Diandra R.". She told me that since I'd already made a purchase through the app, I could not use the coupon and proceeded to GRAB MY PHONE out of my hands and click "Redeem" on the coupon so that I could no longer use it. This angered me and was the rudest encounter I've ever had with another person. Do NOT grab MY PROPERTY out of my hands and proceed to use it without getting my consent. What she should have done was ask me to remove it myself, if this was what was required. However, she never asked me for permission and simply took my phone and did the action herself. This is unacceptable, and this store should be embarrassed that their employees can behave in this way. NEVER take a customer's (or another person's) property without their permission. That is one of the most basic rules of customer service. Diandra R. should be fired from her position. Train your employees better. read more

Uniqlo... they had some issues during their grand opening. Their prices are in the reasonable range. On one item, the XS size had a certain price, my friend saw that and got the M. However, the tags were different. The M one was slightly more expensive. We went to the cashier who told us he would get the discounted price, but he ended up not getting it. Coming from SF, I'm glad Pleasanton has a Uniqlo. Although this one isn't as big as the flagship store, it will do. They still have a large variety and it is still one of the bigger stores in the mall. People who don't know Uniqlo, it is a Japanese store that provides WARM clothes, especially for the Dublin area. I'd highly recommend trying out some of their clothes. They are lightweight, but keep you warm and it comes in a variety of colors. read more

I was called in to a meeting at work and was not wearing the "correct" shirt. The meeting started 11am, the UNIQL store didn't open before 11am. I went over to Stoneridge Mall and grabbed the managers attention before the store opened, and she let me buy a nice shirt 20 min earlier so I made it to the 11 o'clock meeting looking great!
