Yesterday I went to unique nail bar to have my nails done. I requested to have a fill and had a seat to wait my turn while I was waiting. There were three more people that came in that requested a pedicure. I had been waiting an hour when the three people came in after me decided not to wait and started for the door. The owner stopped them and told them to have a seat in the pedicure chairs and put them before me because they were going to leave and all of you know that she makes more money on a pedicure than she does nails and of course there were three of them so I became low priority at that point so after waiting an hour and after watching her put three people ahead of me I was finally called to a chair the male that did my nails didn't listen to a single thing I said first it took three times of telling him what color I wanted for him to get it right I also asked that my nails really short and that he did not accomplish. I asked that my ring finger be painted a different color of which he never did. I've been going there for quite a while, but after I was treated like I didn't matter! I will never return. I'm very dissatisfied with my nails very dissatisfied with the service so if you decide to give this place a chance I wouldn't. read more

I just want to say how the managers was ver rude to one of there employees and fired her for no reason and then was telling her customers that she went back to Houston instead of telling them where she went to work at. They treated very wrong in many ways. They expected her to do her job and the job of 3 others at the same time when there washer and dryer did t work right and they won't replace then but can go out and buy brand new cars for themselves and go on cruise. There equipment needs to be replaced in there because some of there chairs have duck tape on them to hold them together. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone because they dont do a very good job on your nails. She was the only one that took her time on her work. Thank you read more

Everyone here is friendly and very spacious, did a great job on the girls nails and our pedicures! For my pedicure I wish my massage was longer than 2 minutes each leg, but I think that's just part of it when it comes to them being understaffed just like everywhere else. I've tried several nail salons in Marble Falls, Burnet and KINGSLAND and Unik is by far the best. They are typically well staffed, accommodating and friendly. Kim is very caring and thorough and does a great job on my nails. She's also very patient as it takes me a while to select my color. Our first time here. It is soooo nice. Beautiful inside. All the employees were very nice. They did a good job accommodating all who came in. I asked for her to add a flower to each of my big toes after my pedicure... she did such a good job. Their massage chairs are great and they offer alcohol! Always a nice bonus! read more

As much as I like getting my nails done the ladies here are very dishonest and will not disclose all the extra prices. I walked out should have spent $200 .. it was double due to them charging me extra fees but not telling me beforehand. Be forewarned and ASK PRICE on EVERYTHING!!!!! If you know the owners it's the perfect place to go because they will get started on you right away but the other people that came in 10-15 minutes before you now have to wait longer because they decide to work on people they know first..... go somewhere else they over charge for just about everything.. you can literally go anywhere else and get charged a reasonable price, get the exact same bare minimum done on your nails and not get pushed further and further down the line because people they know outside of work walked in 10 minutes after you. read more

Bizarre experience - I asked for dip on my nails. I have long natural nails with an almond shape but one had broken so I asked to have a tip put on that specific nail. The nail tech proceeds to cut all my nails down as short as physically possible before I noticed to say something. Then proceeds to add tips to all of my nails. This was extremely frustrating as I like my natural nails but whatever they will grow back. Then she starts to apply a powder with a brush and I said I have never had dip applied like this and the nail tech does not reply. A few moments later I ask again are you sure this is dip and she says I can do dip next time so I ask what she is doing this time and she replied with acrylic powder. Not what I asked for at all. I have worked hard to grow natural healthy nails and now I am back to square one. I would not recommend this place if you do dip. read more

I needed some serious help with my nails and they took very good care of me. I went in for a removal and new color. I didn't get her name but she was awesome. She wanted my nails to be perfect and I did not mind the extra time she was taking. They came out perfect. Best nail work I've had done by far. I have never had such a wonderful nail experience. The minute you walk in the door you are greeted by a feeling that you are about to be pampered! Furthermore someone immediately lets you know they are going to attend to you. The Room itself is elaborately decorated with beautiful chandeliers and soft music. I can't remember the name of the nail tech but I do know she is the owner. Her husband even came out and greeted me. More importantly is the quality of nails I received. I'm a terrible nail biter and keeping nails on are always a challenge. I had her do tips and the dipping powder. Not only were they beautiful but they felt like they were a part of my hand. I've had them on for 3 weeks now and not been tempted to bite them at all. They are starting to grow out a little bit so it's time to go back. That doesn't break my heart as I am looking forward to it! I might also add that they served me a drink and furthermore It did not cost any more than other salons I've been to that did much more inferior work. I love this place it's gonna be my go to for nails from now on!! read more
