There…read morewere no manicure services in my appt, ie, no sugar scrub, cuticle care, massage, hand lotion, etc. I made an appt saying I wanted a fill using dip powder. I've been here a few times and they always try to talk me out of dip. Acrylic paint always chips for me so that's why I ask for dip, but they, for whatever reason, don't want to do dip. Dip paint, for me, is much stronger than acrylic and never chips, so that's why I like it. Anyways, getting back to my most recent appointment, they cut my nails shorter than what I asked and don't add any nail tips. I did get a chrome color added so I know that's an extra $10. I was out of there in less than an hour. The next day, two of my nails chip. I tried emailing but never heard back. Just frustrated that they charged me for a fill even though it wasn't that. According to their menu and the services I received, it should have been $25, maybe $35 with the added chrome color.

Yeah I'm pissed. I used to absolutely love this place and told so many ladies about it. Now I'm…read morenever going back. My most recent experience was horrible and I'll be changing my salon. First it began with me choosing the color swatch from their selection. Then she's drilling off my previous dip product and keeps burning through my nail bed and I finally jumped from the pain and pulled my hand away and I said you're burning through my nail beds. She said it was because I had glitter in my old product. NO. Then she asked if I wanted to keep my natural nail length and I said yes. Next she chops my left hand nails down to the skin right after and then they're gone! Next, 3/10 of the tips she fitted were clearly too small for my naturals and since I was doing coffins I pointed to the exposed edges and said are you going to be able to blend this, it isn't the right size. She snapped back with I'M NOT FINISHED YET. I said I know you're not finished yet I'm asking if you're going to be able to blend the corners with too small of a tip. Again, I'M NOT FINISHED YET. Next she pulls the color N70 and starts dipping my nails and right away I noticed this is nothing like the color I chose. I said um wait wait. This isn't anything like what you have up there that I picked. "It just looks different cause those are old and it just doesn't have the glitter." I told her no, it's not just the glitter it's a completely different shade. I pulled up the photo I took of the swatch and showed her and I said see how this is a ballerina ivory/ pink- it's nothing like it. She said "the color looks good on your hand." I said but it isn't what I asked for. She continued to dip my nails in this old lady boring grey/ muted mauve and didn't apologize or anything. So now I'm walking around with nails that I absolutely hate with exposed naturals that are catching everything and are an uneven mess! I told her it's a good thing these aren't for my wedding. Lastly, when I got up to wash my hands I come back in five seconds and she took my phone, my open handbag, and my Stanley and moved it into a pile on a random table and already had another client in my chair. SHE DIDN'T EVEN ASK TO TOUCH MY BELONGINGS! So I'm absolutely done. Thanks Michelle. Best of luck to the salon

The staff at Elegant Nails & Spa is very friendly and I appreciate this but…read moreI will not go back to this salon based on my experience. Pros: * Friendly staff * Fast service Cons: * Extremely Unsanitary * Poor quality service/results * Pricing issues 1. Getting your nails done at a salon is always a risk. There are different levels of sanitation for each salon. Some are outstanding, some are decent and some are completely careless with sanitation standards. This salon was unsanitary at the lowest level. The nail technician kept switching between 3 customers without any concern of contamination. Think about this, after 2-4 weeks of wearing fake nails, there is a lot of nasty stuff between layers. Even I'm disgusted with my own nails after two weeks. 2. After filing the nails with a dirty nail file, the technician used a dirty nail brush to brush off the nail dust and just applied gel nail polish without allowing me to rinse my dusty nails off. This caused bumpy nails. She didn't even wipe down the counter so I had to have my nails drying under the black light on a grimy countertop. It felt gross. 3. Inconsistent Pricing. I asked for the pricing brochure and saw that my service was only supposed to be $20 for a basic gel polish. She told me it was $40 to remove my old nail dip. Since my nail dip came off easy because I scraped it off while it was soaking, she said she would not charge me for the removal. Then she told me my cost was $30. The gel with manicure service was $30. I didn't get a manicure. She didn't even put lotion on my hands. She quickly turned off the blacklight, left me to go work on another woman, and told me "That will be $30" while turned away from me filing another woman's nails... without washing her hands. 4. Poor quality nail polish application. My nail polish is bumpy from the nail dust filing. The top clear coat dried with craters. Getting your nails done should feel like a luxury experience. Many women enjoy getting their nails done to feel like a queen. It feels lovely to have someone take care of you and help you feel beautiful. Unfortunately, I did not feel like this while getting my nails done here. I felt unclean and unsatisfied.

She tried to do the design I requested twice and couldn't so I finally said just paint it the whole color. While Victor was fixing what she messed up another lady walked in and requested Victor he explained that he needed to go eat lunch and the customer was totally fine with it said she'd come back but the manager absolutely refused to let that happen she directed the lady to a seat and was talking to another worker about doing the her nails even though she wanted Victor. After finishing my nail he ended up going to do the other customers pedicure , but the way the manager treated Victor was so very wrong, When you find a good Technician you will wait for them especially if for something like their nutrition. The new manager definitely bring the place down. Hopefully she won't be in there next time I go see Victor, would hate to have to find a new technician because of her attitude.
