They would add a gel top coat but not cure it properly to the point that it started peeling off, yet the dip itself was still going strong. Then I tried another place, and it wasn't the best work either. Finally I tried VIP and have found my go to nail tech: Helen! She is awesome and thorough, plus remembers details about me from previous visits. I normally never want to see a specific person, but that all changed here! It's not crazy crowded here during weekdays, and I always make an appointment so I can have an idea how long I'll have to wait. Usually there is no wait time with an appointment, except on Christmas Eve day, which is completely understandable! Everything is clean and they have a large selection of all sorts of polishes and pedicure types!

They charged me $70 (not including tip) for nail color removal and acrylic paint on my hands. There…read morewere no manicure services in my appt, ie, no sugar scrub, cuticle care, massage, hand lotion, etc. I made an appt saying I wanted a fill using dip powder. I've been here a few times and they always try to talk me out of dip. Acrylic paint always chips for me so that's why I ask for dip, but they, for whatever reason, don't want to do dip. Dip paint, for me, is much stronger than acrylic and never chips, so that's why I like it. Anyways, getting back to my most recent appointment, they cut my nails shorter than what I asked and don't add any nail tips. I did get a chrome color added so I know that's an extra $10. I was out of there in less than an hour. The next day, two of my nails chip. I tried emailing but never heard back. Just frustrated that they charged me for a fill even though it wasn't that. According to their menu and the services I received, it should have been $25, maybe $35 with the added chrome color.

He saw several other men go in as well which helped. He said the tech did a good job cleaning up his toenails and the foot massage and heat were nice. The people were nice. They could tell we weren't necessarily talkers so didn't constantly chat with us but they did decent work. For myself, they could have probably done a little better job on the polish.
