Crab Dip Pull Apart Bread
Karen P.

Had to wait a little bit for a table to open up outside where we could sit with the dog. There was a concert nearby so I think lots of folks thought to grab a bite here before the show. It was definitely worth the wait though. We got the pull apart crab bread and loved it. The garlic wings were good but could have been a little more flavorful. The standout was the Trifecta pizza. So flavorful and perfect crust. Servers were really nice too! Looking forward to trying more. They also had happy hour deals 4-8pm.

I have had great experiences at Underground Pizza. I have gone a couple of times just recently, and I was very pleased with my experience. There is seating both inside and outside. The wait staff are attentive, patient, and accommodating. The food is phenomenal. I ordered the Wedge Salad and the Kale Caesar Salad. Both were generous portions and were reasonably priced. The menu says they feed 2-4, but I ordered them as my entree and found the portion to be right for me. I can't wait to go back and try something else.

The crab rangoon pizza here has been calling my name and was top on my list to try on a recent visit Baltimore. Definitely worth the trip! It's absolutely loaded with real lump crab and each slice has a whole crab rangoon! Flavor was great, price was reasonable, and service was pretty good for a busy Saturday. The menu had a ton of other unique flavor combos for their Detroit style pizzas so I'll definitely be back to try some more, or I'll just keep ordering the crab rangoon!

I am now a fan of Detroit style pizza! I ordered the margarita pizza which was not as traditional as Italian ones, but was very delicious! The pizza fries were thoroughly enjoyed by my sister - especially the pepperonis. The fires were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which is perfect in my book. One thing I loved was how the staff balances the workload. Instead of one server being assigned to one section, all the servers check on all the tables. Overall, the friendly staff and tasty food made this a perfect casual pizza spot!

I've heard great things about Underground Pizza and was excited to try it! We ordered via delivery which came from DoorDash. We ordered a pizza with mushrooms and sausage and Buffalo wings. The wings were very good and had a nice kick. Also enjoyed the pizza. I appreciated the restaurant included instructions for reheating if needed. The pizza was tasty. Loved the sauce and the toppings and the crisp edges. Could have used a bit more cheese in my opinion, but will order extra next time (also just really love cheese haha). I love Detroit style pizza and this spot definitely hit the craving. The small is four pieces and we had one leftover since it's quite filling. Also loved it wasn't overly greasy for a thick pie. I will definitely order from Underground again!

Went back this week and it was amazing AGAIN! The staff there is so sweet! I spent my birthday eating amazingly locally sourced pizza with my mannnnnnnnn! Underground Pizza is undefeated in my book!

Ive been to this establishment several times in the past. Due to the previous experience being good I decided to dine here. Parking anywhere downtown especially the inner harbor on the street is very limited; and the parking garages are insane at times. I found parking and made way to this establishment at the Power Plant. There was a Flippino festival going on at Power Plant as well. When we entered the establishment, we were immediately seated. Seating is only at high tops or the bar. We started off with a couple drinks, old bay wings and cheesesteak sliders. The drinks were ok, not 5 star rating. The cheesesteak sliders were okay as well. We ordered Old bay fries which came out great. After digesting the wings, sliders and fries we ordered the Peppers and Onions pizza with added spinach. The pizza came out very light. Ive had this pizza previously and it was toasted and not doughy. There was very little cheese. The pizza disappointed. So after all, I was very disappointed with the choice of this establishment today. Absolutely nothing but the friendly attentive staff was a plus. The staff were beyond attentive. It could be a bad day but definitely not good since I havent been here in about 3 plus years. The prices has increased tremendously as well. I wouldnt say not to go but based on today, I would be skeptical to return again for myself in the future.

Last night in Chicago we came here after wedding and no reservation, these people know how to take care of their customers. Food was amazing. We had a little of everything from pizza, wings, salad and drinks!! Best bar in town hands down! Great atmosphere and something for everyone. Thank you guys!!

Yumm this was such a good find for Detroit style pizza. I ordered online and picked it up, a seamless process. No hate to the location but the parking situation was a little rough. I was hoping to park on the street to run in but ended up driving around for 10+ minutes before ending up in the lot. Turns out my parking was free so it worked out just fine. For the food, I got the cheese pizza with prosciutto and the mango habanero wings. The pizza was fantastic, and I really liked that you can order a half portion which was great for 2 people. The crust was crispy, and the cheese and sauce were great, and it was packed with prosciutto. The wings were also great, I loved the sauce and the sesame seeds on some of them which was a fun twist.

We went for happy hour, and we really enjoyed their drinks and wings. Happy hour is only during the week, and the pizza was a good size. We also got the crab dip pull apart bread. It was good

I always find myself craving the crab dip pizza every once in a while, it's so worth it. They put a lot of crab on it and the flavor is really good. I'm a big fan of the Detroit style crust. It's a little hard to find parking since it's inside power plant, so sometimes I just order delivery. I'm usually full after like 2 pieces since it's pretty thick, and the pizza still tastes great after reheating it the day after.

What a great spin on Detroit style pizza! Bold flavors, creative menu, fair pricing and good vibes. Now I will say the pizza is great but it's very expensive. For $24 you only get 4 slices of pizza. Not family budget friendly but definitely good pizza.

The Jersey Turnpike (Tomato Pie) w/ Pepperoni!...Delicious!!

10 out of 10! And, the hype is real!! What a great spot! The service was great and the Pizza....freaking delicious!! We came here after a night of hanging out next door at the Power Plant Live venue. The vibe here is really cool. We ordered the CBR, Tiger King, some orange crushes, mozzarella sticks and arancini balls. The pizzas were thick and we were so glad we went with our choices. Hands down!....The Tiger King!! RUN...& DON'T WALK TO ORDER THIS THING! This pizza is loaded with the meats....spicy sausage, bacon, cup pepperoni, mozzarella cheese.... and a honey glaze drizzle that heighten the pizza. We also added green peppers and onions which took it to the next level! The CBR stands for chicken bacon ranch. Just imagine a buffalo chicken pizza this is what you get. We ordered two full size pizzas and it was more than enough to eat there and we had plenty to take home. . The mozzarella sticks and arancini balls are a must order as well...if you are a cheese lover! On to the drinks....the bar menu and drinks are extensive. They feature a wide selection of drinks at their bar. The popular drinks in the house were the "Crushes!" They are very popular.and plenty flavors.... Orange, Peach, Strawberry, Lime...to name a few. Covid wise Underground does not play. The Staff here is really friendly and they can break down the popular pizzas based on your preference. Totally worth the drive from DC or a must stop when visiting the Baltimore Harbor area. I'll definitely be back to try their other pizzas. Just wished there was a sampler type menu where you can try +4 different pizza! Because, all the pizzas on the menu were calling me. LOL!! *ELITE TIP: The menu changes and updates with featured pizzas.....subscribe to their IG for discount deals and to stay in them know of new pizzas soon to be offered.

One of our go-to favorites. Detroit-style, delicious pizzas with plenty of drink options. Usually pretty busy but they keep up well.

Ask the Community - Underground Pizza

When are you going to open some locations in Virginia, like Merrifield and Springfield, around the beltway?

We had a project we were working on in Alexandria that fell through. We will look for other opportunities in the future but nothing planned at the moment

Is this place open to walk-in? We tried walking down to this place from Inner Harbor with kids and could not figure out how to even access the place! It was a Friday night (Power Plant Live! place was crowded) - we just couldn't get to you...

The district becomes 21+ at 9pm on fridays and Saturdays but if you talk to the front door people, they allow families to access. You can always text us at 443-347-6190 in the future

Do you deliver?

Yes

Is parking free?

We validate parking, it’s $5-10 depending on the garage

Hi! How many people does a half pie usually feed?

We did 2 full pies for 4 people and had leftovers the next day. With the thicker dough, I'd say 1-2 slices per person pending appetite is a good measure. You won't be disappointed if you order too much! You'll be pissed if you don't order enough!

I read great reviews so, 1) I called. The number given on Yelp AND on their site is a non-working number. 2) I drive to this location and there is ZERO parking. What's the deal? Are they open for business or... ? Big time disappointed right now.

True, the entire operation is a shit-show. You're not imagining it-- there is NO parking and NO phone to call. The prices are extreme as well. Why would you go through all of this for an expensive, average pizza when there are LITERALLY HUNDREDS of…

I am very curious about trying this pizza but I keep hitting roadblocks. 1) the number listed here and on their site is inactive…

The number states to text it, whenever I have no problems. You will get an order confirmation and email. It's worth it!

I loved the selection of pastries they offered--the pandan pastry was definitely my favorite. My husband ordered the drip coffee over ice, and I got the Vietnamese iced coffee. Both coffees were excellent. The Vietnamese coffee was a bit too sweet for my taste, and it was served in a very small glass. I think it would have been even better with a little more coffee to balance the sweetness. For lunch, we ordered the kimbap and the egg bowl, and both dishes were outstanding. The only downside was that it took about 35 minutes for our food to arrive. However, the cafe was extremely busy and clearly backed up, so we didn't mind the wait too much--especially since the food was so delicious. The indoor space is quite small, but they do offer outdoor seating. I can't wait to come back and try more of their Asian-inspired pastries and dishes. What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

The play on sweet and savory is just so comforting. I also had the apple cinnamon butter muffin and the muffin top was insanely delicious. The crumble on top of the apple butter was gluttony. I beleive they rotate their muffins regularly which I appreciate. I've had their raspberry matcha in the summer which I remember tasted so fresh on a hot day. And I recently had their 5 spice latte which was a great balance of spice and sweet. Overall, I honestly would consider moving to the area just to live next to this cafe not being dramatic at all.

There's no flash. There are no gimmicks. It's a local bar to go grab a drink and you're not in the mood for the trendy packed spots. It's very unassuming and great neutral space. Anyone can show up, any time. Everyone's welcomed. You can have a good convo w/o having to scream thru it. MASSIVE PLUS *smile*!!! From a musical perspective, all sorts of genres pump thru the system and the ability to make selections is much better than other bars, which is great. It's even better when your selections are getting other people to enjoy the music and their time there, as well. Always a crowd pleaser. Aside from a fully stocked bar, there's a great beer selection. I happen to LOVE ciders and there's always an excellent choice available. The bartenders are always welcoming and accommodating. People come to unwind and have a good time w/o any pretense. I really enjoy the Tavern for that reason.

Visited BRD at RHouse on a Friday night to finally try their highly anticipated chicken tenders!…read more First things first, the parking situation around RHouse can definitely be tricky, especially on a Friday night, so I recommend planning ahead. Ordering was easy through the tablet, and the service moved at a decent pace. Our food came out in about 10-15 minutes. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries and tried the Carolina BBQ sauce, which was VERY good. The tenders were a nice size, crispy, and had flavorful breading. The fries were also a standout, the seasoning on them was delicious and made them even better. Overall, everything was good and flavorful. I'd put these in a similar category to the chicken tenders at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, which I've always enjoyed. I know that sounds dramatic but it's true! I was shocked! The fries were a nice accompaniment that matched the chicken in quality + I love the addition of a pickle. I ordered the house BRD sauce and honey mustard and both were perfect in my eyes! The only downside was the wait, but I see it more as a testament to how good it is-- it was worth the wait for me, and it seems like many others would agree! In general I love that it's in R House, a great place to take friends and make sure that everyone has an option they will enjoy.

[Disclaimer: this is a comprehensive review so buckle in and let's go!]…read more I used to frequent Hopkins Market (HM) when it was a tiny cafe that had good food. Always friendly staff. Good space. I was sad to see that they left. The replacement, however, has truly impressed me. The new & improved current location has nearly 'quadrupled' in size with its redesign/ buildout. The location is well lit and has morphed from a small neighborhood cafe into a full service vendor. Aside from a menu offering an impressive myriad of options, HM is also a massive grocer/ wine & cafe. They offer wine tastings and a very clean space. I believe they openEd in 2025. On to the stats: STAFF: Everyone is friendly & helpful. SUNDRIES: An expansive selection of liquor, beer & wine; snacks; candy; soda; coffee; household goods; grocer goods; Knick knacks. LIQUOR PURCHASES: A GREAT perk is liquor can be purchased until close (11 or 12). CAFE FEEDBACK [This is an amalgamation of dishes based on numerous visits. Didn't want to come across like a serious 'BIG BACK' LOL - On To The Vittles: 1. Chicken salad sub (recommended). Freshly made. Simple recipe [Mayo, S&P, celery, a few spices] (which I really enjoy, when done well) and sizable portions. SCORE! 2. French fries (recommended). Toasty/ crispy of the outside, fluffy inside w/ very good flavor. SCORE! 3. Yellow cake w/ choc icing. A tasty sheet cake / good grocery store offering. Moist cake, thick flavorful icing. DELISH! SCORE! 4. Dolmas - Stuffed Grape Leaves. I absolutely love these. Unsure if they're made in house or brought in but they're tasty. Not always in stock but when they are - SCORE! 5. Guava nectar - Absolutely delicious! Give me more. 6. Pear Nectar - Absolutely delicious! Give me more. 7. Pastrami sandwich - DEEEELISHIOUS. Tastes like it came straight from a NY deli counter. I added Swiss & deli mustard (heated). Perfect recipe. Don't overdo it. TRIPLE WORD SCORE!! 8. Western Fries - Crunchy exterior and fluffy interior. Seasoned well. SCORE!! 9. Onion Rings - I wished they were beer battered instead of being super crunchy. They also lacked ANY flavor. Breading wasn't seasoned at all. A little salt in the batter or at the end would've made a world of difference. CRIME! 10. Marble Chocolate Cake: Delicious chocolate frosting. Cake was drier than I like. I enjoy a moist cake. That wasn't one. I do think, however, that the deserts are shipped in - so I can't hold it against them (TIP: Change your baker) 11. Egg & Cheese Sandwich: on toasted Rye w/ mayo, mustard, S&P.
