Branded as Korean American gastropub, surely I wanted to try both their drinks and food. The happy hours menu is off the chart - they had 27 different drinks including beer, wine, liquors, soju cocktails (and I'll explain why I know the count so precisely...). If you check in to Yelp you got a free popcorn chicken per table too, boom. Free stuff is always the best stuff, and the popcorn chicken was actually very good and we ended up ordering another dish. Now on a chill evening of the last day of the a long weekend, we shouldn't really be drinking too much. But then, when the first round of drinks arrived, we were kind of skeptical about the portion of soju actually added to the cocktails. We blamed that to the Appleju where the apple juice masking the taste of the alcohol. But when we ordered the Sparkling Citron and they were still kinda of more like mocktails than cocktails, we quite shamelessly asked the staff if they could put more soju/liquors in our next round of drinks. I know, it's only $38 after all... Back to the food. They were amazing. Kimichi fries was good, and from a person who actually doesn't like kimchi AT ALL, this compliment does carry a lot of weight. We tried also the spicy fried chicken wings (not spicy enough), the salt and pepper wings (VERY GOOD), cheesy kimchi sliders (good, and again from the mouth of someone who doesn't like kimchi). Three hours passed right in front of five of us, as if the time went quicker when you were sitting at the chillaxing front door table. The drinks got better (i.e. stronger) afterwards which was definitely a plus. One of our friends wanted to challenge to finish all the drinks on the happy hour menu but we only managed to go through the right half of it. But I wouldn't complain at all having 20 cocktails in total among five of us and still managed to get down to HKD$350 per person, including the food we had.

I perfer even more heat with more chili, but that is easily solved by just asking for some extra jalapeno. Kimchi Grilled Cheese- so easy yet so satisfying. Grilled with two types of cheese and layered with kim chi, this really sings comfort food for me. You can add an assortment of things to the sandwich, including fried egg- perfect. I also got to try some of the special homemade Korean spicy sauce and Siracha mayo- delicious. The drinks- they have Soju infused cocktails that are sure to please. Chili Mango, Yuzu, Milkis are all quite unique. Want the whole bottle straight up? No problem- very reasonable in price. Soju not your thing? They have a regular wine, beer and cocktails list too. This place is fast food style, so you place your order at the front and find an empty table. When we came during the lunch hour, it was quite busy so either take this to-go or be prepared to wait for an empty seat. The menu is quite simple. The most popular options seemed to be the set meals, which is actually a pretty good size to share amongst 2 people for a light lunch. We tried their banh mi set. The only thing that was Viet-fusion about this banh mi was their pickled daikon and carrots, even the bun wasn't the typical banh mi bun. But sall good, still tasted yummy anyways! The meat is marinated in a Korean style marinade and the sandwich is loaded with tons of kimchi. The spicy corn and cheese fries the set came with were good - nice small side to make your meal less boring. We also tried their Seoulade... this is a gigantic drink and def worth it! You'll be peeing buckets if you end up chugging this. Super refreshing during the hot summer months. You remember the old school nacho cheese? They put that on the plain fries here. I'm not a big fan of corn, but the corn salad here is just the right amount of sweet and a little spice that it's something I fight over and not something I just give away. The banh mi looks small but it's filling and the bulgogi is not overly sweet-which brings back memories of some pretty bad barbecues. Definitely another item that's worth getting multiple times. Their lemonade is pretty good even though it's basically a mix of 7up and lemon juice-it's still a pretty giant drink that will probably leave you in a diabetic coma. Indoor dining is back again, but one never truly knows when a future shutdown is happening. The food has remained high end, seasonal, and completely different from the usual dining options in HK. Whether it's been seasonal truffle tofu-toasts, carbonara infused tteokboki, or their winter friendly Korean style sashimi (bang-eo hwae), it's all very good. A personal favorite is their uni rice, which is quite modest in portion size (#2) but straight bangin' in flavor and texture. And unlike many other Korean restaurants, they have a nice Italian selection of wine that pairs quite well with the dishes. While it's been marketed as a fusion establishment, they also do a very good job in representing traditional options as well. Their bossam ssam plate with samgyupsal (pork belly) is tasty and while not always available, jajangmyun is a nice comfort food option. While I no longer live in Hong Kong to enjoy them, I still applaud their efforts from afar. We ordered: Marinated Tofu Salad (Lotus root, purple sweet potato, apple): Lotus root was deep fried which provided a crispy contrast in texture to the soft tofu, apple and purple sweet potato gave it a hint of sweetness Drunken Clams (Rice wine Makgeolli, garlic, lemon zest, chili): Clams were cooked perfectly and we were so happy we got this. Kimchi pork pancake (minus the pork): I'm ALWAYS a fan of kimchi pancake. Even though the pancake could stand to be a teeny bit more crispy at the ends, I loved the kimchi flavor. Brussels Sprouts (Korean dwaenjang paste, almonds, peanut butter): This was stir fried and not roasted as I originally thought it would be. I'm not really a fan of stir fried brussels sprouts but it was interesting with the peanut butter taste which I could barely detect because the dwaenjang paste was stronger. The dishes here were more tapas size and I'm glad we ordered that many dishes. Service was on point and friendly. Moyo is a small and cozy restaurant (you're almost elbow to elbow) with a typical tiny bathroom. A definite place I'll need to try again for the kimchi disco fries and Korean Fried Chicken (sorry Alex, I'll not bring you next time, maybe someone else who is a carnivore).

In typical Korean BBQ restaurants the serves are really attentive to that and will change it for you when it gets burnt.
