I like this place. We order their custom pizzas and pick them up. It's always been hot and fresh and delicious. You get exactly what you pay for. No pretentiousness, no ridiculous prices for, what is essentially just cheese and dough. I like their selections and various options and their dips are yummy. Great pizza place in the middle of downtown. Parking is plentiful and free after 2200 thanks to the pandemic. There are some really sketchy people in front of this place. Some of them were definitely on something. Try to dodge them on the way in and out. Not sure why other people are complaining about the authenticity of the pizza here. The place is not Italian. The sesame seeds make this place stand out. As of the time of writing, there are some deals during the pandemic era which bring their pricing much more in line with competition. Great for consumers. Quality by the Slice Pizza. $7 tax in for two good size pieces and a can drink. Ingredients are not skimped on, staff open to telling you which is the freshest pie and most importantly, place is clean. Personally, I prefer their VEG slices; Spicy Mushroom is my favourite and top marks for Veggie Pesto. I'm always a walk in customer, so not sure what their delivery service is like. read more

Pretty good pizza at a pretty reasonable price. The flavor of the pizza was pretty good. It was pretty flavorful and not too burnt. I did feel the sausage was too hard but it could just be preference. They sell pizza by the slice so that is always good. The price for that is also not too bad from what I remember. This restaurant is like a lotus in the midst of a pond. There are multiple food options in this area but this pizzeria is head and shoulders above them. I got their personal pizza plus drink option and it is enough for two people and very economic. I absolutely loved the butter chicken pizza and would definitely recommend it. If you love good old mushroom, Uncle F uses great tasting mushroom. Generous toppings on our Alfredo pizza which includes steak. On somewhat of a whim, I decided to order in Uncle Fatih's for dinner last night, as it had been suggested to me on numerous occasions. It's not as though I was a Fatih's virgin, I've tasted the Beef & Blue Cheese as well as enjoyed a slice of Sweet & Spicy in deep inebriation. And on those two occasions, I thought the pizza was very tasty. Last night was in no pale comparison. I ordered the Pepperoni - a classic - with add-ons (because I'm a human with needs) of bacon, spinach, onion and extra mozzarella. There isn't much to report in terms of flavour, the pizza was undeniably tasty! A standard delivery pie that hit the spot. Well, until it really "hit" the spot. I am known (in my mind) as having a stomach of steel. Especially after spending the better part of my early 20's gallivanting around Asia with a much too extreme devil-may-care attitude when it came to general food cleanliness, I pride myself in an ability to eat questionable goods and walk away with mere hiccups. So, why the 2 stars? Uncle Fatih's delivery left me down and out last night and affected my entire next day at work. Trying to give it the benefit of a doubt, I thought of all the other things that could factor into the actuality that I spent most of my night in the bathroom (TMI?) - was it because I hungrily devoured 3 slices within 15 minutes of delivery? Was it due to my strenuous ab workout but 2 hours after eating the pizza? Was it the vigorous dancing to Cam'ron? So many questions, all of which kept me in denial that this delish pie could betray me. It wasn't until my boyfriend admitted to me today, that his body was also not responding well to Uncle F's that I had to come to terms with the truth. Uncle Fatih's delivery pepperoni pizza came for blood, and settled for whatever agony I could give it. So, Uncle Fatih's didn't have my back this one instance. But, I do believe in forgiveness so I will probably go back to give it another shot. Not anytime soon though... read more

We just happen to be walking around looking for a place to eat.......they had a daily special sign that caught our eyes and a delicious smell we couldn't ignore. 2 medium pizza for $20.....you can't go wrong with that. We ended up ordering the chicken with pesto & pepperoni with mushrooms. The cheese they used is quite delicious and the crust is like fresh pretzel out of the oven. Everybody has a favourite pizza joint, and mine would be Uncle Fatih's @ Nelson St. And of course, being my favourite pizza joint, I am biased towards it. So let's move on to the establishment now, shall we? It's a relatively small pizza place, with only a few tables and wall benches inside. They do have a few tables outside though. Things are very uncomplicated inside. If you're going with an individual pizza slice, take your pick and they'll warm it up for you. As for the pizza, I like the pizzas here since they are less greasy compared to other places. Mind you though, I always go with the vegetarian option. But for you carnivores out there, worry not, as they have tonnes of pizzas overlapping with slices of meat to satisfy your T-Rex appetite. Pizza slices are $2 a piece, which makes this the perfect place to have a quick dinner with friends. Now, for the atmosphere. As I've said, I am biased with this place. I've had a pizza at Nicli Antica Pizzeria @ Gastown, and almost always I prefer having pizzas here. It's just a laid back place where you can crack jokes and take it easy with friends and pals. Nothing against Nicli Antica, they do serve great pizzas as well. But for me, a pizza is a casual social food, and casual is as casuals will always be at a no frills pizza place. So there you have it. Simple service, cheap food, and with a couple hundreds of calories ingested in a single meal, who can complain? Just don't expect to impress your date by taking her here. This definitely isn't a L'abattoir type setting. Having said that, I'd be impressed if she is impressed with a date at this pizza joint. read more

Went there to pick up a pizza pie and also ended up ordering two slices + a soda. Was hungry and ended up eating a bite there and it was not only cold but also rock hard. I like my pizza a little charred but it tasted like severely burnt pizza with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. I asked for a box for the 2 slices and didn't realize they were going to stinge me for 50 cents. Not a big deal but the pizza definitely wasn't worth it. There are so many other better pizzas spots like The Parlour, Numero Uno and Pizza Garden nearby so unlikely to come back based off of this experience. Sorry :x read more

Every time I order from here, the Pizza is excellent. I love living downtown, simply for the fact that if I want Pizza, I don't have to be stuck with Dominos or Pizza Hut. It's a shame that a lot of places make Pizza so greasy. Their crust is perfect. Lots of places make the crust so heavy and extremely hard, but this place makes their crust light and fluffy. I could almost see myself asking them to just send me the crust by itself, and I would be happy eating just that. All pizzas are not created equal and I was astonished that after a lifetime of eating pizza, I could still be shocked into finding yet another amazing slice. I had to go back a couple more times when I was in Vancouver for a conference because the Fatih slice is ... unique. The crust is like nothing I've had before, and the toppings seem so legitimately fresh you'll wonder if you're eating some sort of gourmet pizza. Good greasy pizza. Meant for hangovers and cheap game nights. The space itself is tiny I would recommend to go not eating in. Their sauces are top notch and you can't beat a deal that's 2 slices and a pop for like $11. I would say it definitely doesn't match up to any nice pizza places but it's not trying to. I ordered a small Hawaiian with pepperoni & onions. Instead I received the Hawaiian with onions & mushrooms! I haven't even bothered to phone them back because I can pick off mushrooms. The sauce on the pizza is way too tart & it's a weird taste. The crust etc is just okay. The pineapple was so tiny, it's liked they've chopped it in half from regular chopped. Delivery was fast. Visited Vancouver and wanted a slice of pizza. Stopped in without doing much research. I saw lots of folks walking out of this place with hot pizzas so I thought I would give it a shot. Got the ham and pineapple slice for $2 in maple leaf money. The server runs it through the oven to make it hot for you. Very nice service. The pizza was solid. Very crispy crust. It's really good! I LOVE that they offer artichoke hearts as a topping. C'mon other pizzerias, have you BEEN to Italy? I usually get thin crust elsewhere since I don't have much of an appetite, but this normal crust was really nice; thick with some crustiness but easy to digest and not making me too full. This is the first time my husband and I stopped to buy pizza at this location. We used to buy uncle faith pizza at Burnaby location, and we loved it. It was always fresh and warm, but at this location the pizza we bought was super greasy and old like it was cooked several days ago. Besides that the customer services is horrible! Ok...so I've been here a bunch of times because I live close by. It's been pretty decent and never had a bad experience. Until today... Got my usual slice of pepperoni and slice of Hawaiian. It's Luke warm, but whatever, I can deal with that. Eat my pepperoni and now on to the Hawaiian. Get halfway through and something catches my eye. It's hair...a black, curly hair. Now I'm not a huge complainer about this kind of stuff and if it's just sitting on top I would have probably just asked for a new slice. Shit happens. But this hair isn't just a loose topping, this hair is baked right into the cheese. A baked pubic hair. The classic thing was when I took it up to the guy working the front, He goes, "oh I'm sorry. Horrible customer service...I ordered four slices of pizza, the lady working just took the pizza from the pan and put into a paper bag. I asked her if she could heat them up for me to which she replied "They just came out of the oven 5 minutes ago so they should be warm still" so I don't think much of it and just let it go. Even though she should probably put them in the oven to satisfy the customer. The worst part was when the customer behind me ordered from the same pan of pizza and the lady working put it in the oven without the customer even having to ask! I phoned and ordered a pizza for delivery from this location at 05/10/2015 at 12:56 AM to be delivered to 19th Ave in the Mount Pleasant area. The woman taking my call informed me that my address was outside of their delivery area, but proceeded to transfer my order to a closer location. The delivery driver ended up going to West 4th instead of West 19, but eventually showed up and was very angry. I gave him a 20% tip for his trouble and he proceed to say "In the future, if you want a pizza delivered then order it at 1PM instead of 1AM." Oh good, thank you. How foolish of me! As an established business, you have a right to decline service. By all means, feel free to inform me that you are no longer taking orders, but do not oblige and then send an angry employee to my house.
