Stopped in for a quick beer, but as soon as I walked through the door, I was hit with a nauseating stench that made me question every life choice that led me there. The place looked dead, and the only sign of life was a couple of bartenders lounging in the back, deep in conversation, clearly uninterested in, you know, customers. I sat at the bar for a solid 10 minutes before one of them finally wandered over. I mentioned I was parched, hoping for at least a bit of hospitality, but all I got was a sarcastic, "Well, I'm here now." Great start. She attempted to pour a beer, but the tap spewed nothing but foam. She dumped glass after glass like she was performing some kind of sad beer ritual, before finally scraping together something close to a pint. I drank it, paid, and left quickly. Walked across the street to Killarney's and immediately felt like I'd stepped back into civilization. Greeted with a smile, served a perfect pint, and actually felt like a paying customer. Food is standard American food. Service was wonderful. We stayed there for hours, and our server was super sweet and attentive. The ambiance is what rules! Visited here with kids, and it was so family friendly. They have super high chairs to accommodate the little ones where the high bar stools in the middle of the dining area are. Eek, I don't have anything positive to say about the service. We felt ignored a few times. The atmosphere is very chill and so is the work ethic. It's so chill that they forget they're supposed to follow through and bring what you asked for. And when you ask again, they don't have the faintest clue that this is the second request. I think they're all floating through the air, without a care in the world. There's no anticipation of guests' needs (such as maybe some napkins and cutlery to eat our food). They could use some coaching and development to improve. They're not rude-- just naive or something. The nachos were the main draw for me and they were good but serving them on a blanket of foil is not conducive to eating up every splotch of melted/crispy cheese cuz you get foil totally stuck on the cheese. Better to use parchment paper. They have an appetizer called Nugs that are little pieces of battered chicken that are pretty good but they charge extra to toss them in sauce of your choice-- why nickel and dime on something other restaurants do automatically for no extra charge? We were there around 6:30p on a Saturday and it was dead. I don't see this restaurant lasting long if this is their A game. read more

Fish and chips, and an old fashioned. My drink was great. Most sports bars suck at mixed drinks. You could upgrade your cherries. That's the only thing. I don't care if you're having a bad day, you should still treat paying customers with respect. No t once was I asked, ok wait, sorry, yes once I was asked what she could get for me. I didn't quite hear her so I said "what?" And with a little smirk of a laugh she said can I get you something. So I ordered. As the night went on, not once did she come back to ask if we wanted anything, each time we had to wave her down. The most interaction we received from her was when she gave us our bill. My husband even said it was the worst place ever as far as service. For my husband to say something like that is huge. My husband went to the bathroom, my son and I were ignored... ok maybe they are short staffed... I go to the bathroom and return and still no one approached or acknowledged us. We continue to be patient; literally looking around for anyone to acknowledge us besides the other patrons. The waitress literally cleaned and cleared the high top table directly across from us... nothing. Then someone she knows walks in, she perks up and runs to them. Literally we were sitting at the table right next to the entrance where this new guest entered. The slow decline continues. I use to love coming here, I supported them during the pandemic shutdown and I know that most restaurants struggle to keep staff so we are patient with the wait times for food. I don't mind waiting but the quality is gone. I remember when the Mac and cheese tasted homemade and the crispy chicken strips were large and delicious. But now they are barely eatable. I still go for the drinks and the good vibe but I can see that's started to decline too. Is that a 'lady of the night' over there? The family atmosphere along with the food is eroding. Tonight Jess took care of me at the bar and she is an Incredible bartender and her lovely personality, really makes the difference in this establishment. I don't know what Chelsea's problem is but we loved this place. First of all, accidents involving cars in parking lots happens all the time. Take the risk or take the bus. Everything about this place was well above average. From the appetizers to the great drinks to the awesome food. Our waitress (tall cute blonde woman) was stellar. Always checking on us. My husband and I were out in the area for our Anniversary. We were staying by the Winery's and were looking for a nice spot to grab lunch. I remembered Uncle Bob's from the last time we were out here. The ambiance is Upscale sports bar vibe. The Wine was buttery and delicious. My husband got a nice IPA chilled to perfection. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken flatbread which was incredible and the Sombrero wrap. The wrap was filled with fresh ingredients. Our server,Mackie, was amazing.
