Ok I ordered the brown sugar mochi black tea and it wasn't what I expected. The mochi was kinda gross IMO. But my daughter had the brown sugar oolong tea which she enjoyed because she drank the entire thing! The storefront was cute and pink. I paid 4.50$ more for the little surprise plushie inside the cup. It's cute! The line moved fairly quickly and the drinks were made pretty quick as well. Next time I'll have to order something else to try!

This location of Ume is delish! I loveee their matchas! They're surprisingly smooth and creamy. Love their strawberry matcha and the just came out with the strawberry cloud coco and I love that one even more! The coconut jelly bits on the bottom remind me of a firmer melo melo jelly, soooo goooood. Everything is a bit on the sweet side so make sure to dial down the sugar level during customization.

It was a bit busy because it's closer to the holidays but I got my drink pretty quickly. I like how there were two kiosks to order from so you don't get stuck waiting on someone who's taking a long time on the kiosk. I got their coco mango jasmine bloom in the default regular size but didn't realize how small the cups were! I remember when I got their same drink in their Santa Clara location (same drink and same size of a medium) it was in a much bigger cup. So that was disappointing. I wonder if it's because their location is in the mall. I would probably go to their other location since there is another one in Milpitas rather than visiting this one again

Came by with a friend on Black Friday, so there was a slight wait to order at the kiosks, but it wasn't too long! After ordering, we got our orders in less than 10 min. - Coconut Mango Jasmine Bloom - I got 50% sugar for this, and though the drink itself was enjoyable, I couldn't taste the jasmine at all. - Boba Milk Tea with Mochi - my friend ordered this and liked the mochi! It was still warm when she was drinking it Overall good but nothing mind blowing. I also didn't expect the default medium sizes to be so small - for $7+ per drink after tax, I would've expected a bigger cup. Would be open to trying their other drinks!

This Ume Tea location still isn't better than other Ume locations, but it's a tiny stand, convenient and good to have inside the Great Mall in Milpitas. I only go for the 5/5 good tasting cloud drink: mango coconut twilight because of the flavors and colors. It's very good to have at all Ume locations. I like it. Experience wasn't as great during grand opening here and to be honest, the wait time nowadays still takes a long 15-20 minutes before getting the drink after ordering around lunch hour on weekdays. I came here a few times throughout the year and there's always a new staff member there. Lines are usually busy. Ume's beverages are a bit small in size and higher priced compared to other places for similar value. Customers are usually happy with their orders though. Cashier was ok this time. At least the lids and packaging are fine now. No leaks or bursts. The mango coconut twilight beverage is worth it for sure.

I like this place. Their rice yogurt seasonal drink is honestly really good, refreshing, and something you don't see everywhere. They also have a big variety of milk teas , and so many of them are actually yummy, not just pretty on the menu. The drinks taste clean and well balanced, and the shop has good flow. If you haven't tried Ume Milk Tea yet, give it a shot. It's one of those places you end up coming back to. Oh the service is good very friendly the steasy-going

Cute decor, good variety in the menu with several drink types I like, and I believe the only boba spot inside Great Mall (I do not count those froyo spots as legit boba lol). The Lychee & Watermelon Green Tea was a great thirst quencher for my stroll around the mall and I always appreciate boba spots that allow me to adjust my sugar and ice levels. 4/5 for the drink itself - it meets my needs, but it's not the best I've had in terms of quality of tea flavor. -1 star overall for charging a service fee at a kiosk. This is getting ridiculous.

Viral for their surprise cups (aka $3.50 random plushies), this is actually a really solid spot for boba in the plaza! They have a pretty unique menu! Service is quick and there's a few tables inside to sit. Cute pink interior, and prices are reasonable. Drinks I recommend: + Osmanthus Longan Green Tea Slush + Blossom Latte + Purple Rice Milk Tea + Rice Mochi Milk Tea

mango yogurt and lychee rose

Nice pit stop for boba in the mall. The drinks were refreshing and a good energy boost from all the shopping. I got the peach oolong milk tea and loved it! The peach flavor complimented the tea well and wasn't overpowering. My friends got the mango yogurt and the lychee rose fruit tea. The mango drink tasted like an indian mango lassi (no complaints here) and the lychee rose was more lychee with a hint of rose which was what we were hoping for anyways. Everyone was happy with their orders! Ordering process itself is at a kiosk. The drinks are pricey and taxed on top of all the drink/toppings costs. So not sure it was worth $8+ but it was good.

The drink had a nice balance between the earthy matcha flavor and the light, creamy foam on top. It felt smooth and not overly sweet, which made it easy to drink. The layered presentation also looked really pretty and gave it that signature trendy café feel. Service was quick and efficient, even with a decent crowd in the store. The vibe is modern and energetic, with a clean aesthetic that makes it fun for a quick drink stop or casual hangout. Definitely feels like one of those spots where people come to both enjoy the drinks and take cute photos. Would come back to try more of their specialty drinks next time.

I'm a creature of habit: since they removed the king jasmine I have been loyal to the longjing milk tea. It's nutty, it's tea forward, it's everything. My partner is addicted to the mango boom and I recently got him the blue version with spirulina in it and he really enjoyed it. As for the service--what can I say? They are swamped with thousands of orders and yet they still tell you to have a good day. People bombard the one person passing out drinks and it looks so overwhelming to be in that position, so props to the workers at this location because this does not look like an easy job. Smells nice, like an expensive hotel.

I will say that the drinks are on the pricier side; everything her ranges from 6 to 8 dollars, even for the smaller-sizd drinks. This spot is a bit small, but it is well-lit and comfortable to sit in. It's clean and stylish inside, and orders are primarily taken through a standing tablet. It's relatively easy to find parking, even though the lot is somewhat busy, especially right after work. The drinks come out pretty quickly and taste really good, though even their "less sweet" options tend to err on the side of being too sweet. I am usually a bit suspect of matcha or hojicha served by places that mostly serve other boba drinks, but I have tried both the matcha and hojicha here, and I liked both. They don't serve food or snacks, which I don't mind! I would absolutely recommend this spot to others; it's a nice experience and their drinks (at least the ones I've tried) are solid.

The exterior is simple, while on the interior, they are an actual tea shop that also sells boba tea. The service was a miss - the employees did not seem that friendly or welcoming upon walking in and during the ordering process. I was sent to the other counter to pay and trying to pay was a hassle because that employee was more focused on having a full on conversation with someone else than to ring me up. My drink was already done and waiting for me at the previous counter and I was still not helped, until I had to say something. I ordered their Green Milk Tea with boba and grass jelly - about $7 for a large, which is not that expensive compared to most other competitors for that size. The milk tea tasted so watered down and overly sweeten though, so I was not able to finish drinking it. I went a few stores down for another boba drink.

Even at 100% sweetness, they actually weren't too sweet, I would even argue getting 125% to match other boba places 100% sweetness. The boba had a really good flavor and sweetness to it that balanced everything out perfectly. Overall a great spot to grab a drink. I just ordered a drink for myself and for my brother. In and out in maybe 10minutes? There's a kiosk to order and a spot to pick up your drink-- very efficient. I got the basic jasmine milk tea because I love jasmine tea and knew that if any place were to make the best jasmine milk teas, it would be this place. Molly is Chinese for jasmine anywayyyyyy (shout out to my coworker for telling me this!). I did not try my brother's tea so I cannot comment on it. I liked my jasmine tea, I can tell it was higher quality than other places I've had jasmine tea, but is it worth the hype? I don't think so. It's good, don't get me wrong, but wait-in-a-3-hour-line good? nothing is. I think I've also become desensitized to the high tea prices that $7-8 is somehow normal? When it shouldn't be! My only frame of reference nowadays is seeing how much tea cost in Asia. And in Taiwan (the birthplace of boba) I got boba for $3 ;( *sigh oh well I live in one of the most expensive places in the country but also I cannot believe I let myself think this is okay. Anyway, it's a treat, not a habit I would give into everyday.

My go-to for fresh chewy boba!…read more I really like coming here when I want boba. Xing Fu Tang boba is one of the only places where I will get boba every single time I get a drink there. Since their boba is made fresh and kept in a warm walk, the boba is always soft and warm and doesn't get hard even when it's put in the drinks. Another thing I like is that they do have drink options that don't have caffeine in it. I especially like coming here during the weekday since they're usually not busy so the drinks come out really fast. On busier days, sometimes they do run out of boba, but they do let you know ahead of time or they give you other options.
