Stopped by for some post-dinner tea around 9:30pm on a Saturday. Didn't want caffeine, so got a large taro + egg pudding with 25% sugar, 25% ice. Also got the cup where it comes with a blind box toy, which was an extra $5(?) Total was ~$11.5 with tax. A few tables (3-4) with some chairs, mainly built-in wall benches. SUPER pink, but definitely can tell there's wear and tear. Honestly very impressed the exposed ceiling was also painted an electric pink color. Overall, friendly service, decent tea, and we already know tea is pircey everywhere. Wish there was warm light , and maybe a few more tables/chairs to make it more welcoming and cozy.

We stopped by the Mesa Ume Tea location while in town for an ASU graduation back in May, and it was such a great find! The shop was clean, bright, and had a super welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our drinks were made just right. I always upgrade to the bunny surprise cup--because I love getting a plushie surprise with my drink. My family and I are big fans of Ume Tea, and we make a point to visit any location we're near. Mesa didn't disappoint, and I'd definitely go back next time I'm in town!

Quick service, after asking for my regular jasmine milk tea they were able to accommodate my dairy allergy and offered oat milk. You can chose different sugar levels and they had some yummy seasonal flavors. We got the Matcha tiramisu boba with Taro, the flavors were amazing! It really tasted like tiramasu. The pink color inside was what drew us in!

I drink boba like it's water and ume has become a top favorite ever since they've opened here in Arizona. The interior is a pink explosion with their giant bunny mascot and few fun photo ops with the decor. My go to is their black tea with mochi and (fresh) taro paste. I haven't seen many places offer mochi as a topping, but there's a silky texture to it so may not be a favorite for those who dislike that consistency. The coco mango is also refreshing on warm days and is almost slushy-like with fresh mangos. I tried their new pistachio Dubai chocolate shake and I'd suggest omitting the kataifi (the shredded phyllo)... I'm not sure how it's prepared or maybe it's because it's placed in a cold drink, but the kataifi is sharp and tough so it's almost a choking hazard. Besides that, I was worried the chocolate drizzle would make the drink sweet, but it was actually good and definitely could taste the pistachio flavor. I'm not sure why the pistachio mango and pistachio mochi shakes are coming soon since they have the ingredients, but you could probably try asking them to make it for you. The popcorn chicken and curly fries are also solid and a nice snack. I only wish they'd expand their snack offerings similar to the California locations.

This spot came recommended by my sister. After a day of thrifting and girlhood, we stopped here for beverages. Their menu is massive and had lots of options both with and without boba. I opted for one with boba and I really enjoyed my drink. I liked how you could tailor your sweetness and other variables of the drink to make it just to your liking. I can definitely see why my sister and so many others are regulars here!

What a cute place! Everything is super pink and florally and a cute place for pictures. The drinks are great also. This cafe is located in a large shopping center with so much parking available. I met up with a couple friends here, and they played good music during our time here. We were all satisfied with our drinks, and we also got popcorn chicken which was delicious and fresh out the fryer.

One of the first in the valley, this place is now up to two state locations: Mesa and Tucson. This location used to be a miss dessert. It does offer similar style mango drinks. It's definitely a quieter location that is open late for those wanting a nice post dinner dessert option. The drinks are solid as I'm a sucker for mango drinks with real mango. The mango-mango and coco-mango are solid gotos. The popcorn chicken is one of the best in the valley with big portions. I like the spicy chili flavor. They do offer season drinks and sign up for their rewards to get discounts via email. The place has good kpop music, and a quiet atmosphere for those looking to study. The drink quality is a little inconsistent, sometimes good, other times missed the mark.

Coco Mango and Strawberry Fresh Milk with Pudding

If you are a fan of pink, you ever come to the right place! The entire decor is a cheery shade of bubblegum, and even their strangely faceless bunny mascot is pink pink pink! We got a coco mango and strawberry fresh milk with pudding. They were both pretty good. 50% was the recommended amount of sweetness but I wanted something less sugary and 30% was just right for me. It allowed a good balance of sweetness with the natural tart flavor of the fruit. The coco mango normally comes with tea I believe but you can request it caffeine free which is what we did. The bathroom is what gets major negatives from me. The women's restroom had an out of order sign so everyone was using the men's restroom. It was really nasty in there. It looked and smelled like no one had cleaned it in a long time. The floors were sticky, the seat had all sorts of spillage on it, and the plastic soap pump was chipped/broken.

I love pink and Ume is such a cute place. I order strawberry milk and replaced pudding with drinkable mochi which is my favorite topping. Compared to the Ume I had in Culver City, CA, this Ume is far beyond better. The mochi was abundant. The one in Culver City was so little I took 2-3 sips and no more mochi. The strawberry is fresh and tasty. I love this place so much.

A coworker had told me about this place and how it had taken over the old spot Miss Dessert used to be. I just happened to be grocery shopping in the area and decided to try it out. After taking our time looking over the menu, we ordered the passion fruit green tea with boba & lychee jelly and the rice mochi black milk tea. The passion fruit tea was okay, not the best but not the worst. I really liked that it automatically came with both boba and lychee jelly. I tried a sip of the rice mochi black milk tea, and the texture wasn't for me, but I appreciated that it was something different you don't see on most menus in the area. Service was friendly and helpful; the staff was able to help me decide on which drink to go with when I was being indecisive in between two drinks. She even let me sample some of the toppings to help make the decision. Overall, this is an aesthetically cute boba shop with a surprisingly good amount of open space, seating options and photo opportunity spots for social media.

I found yet another PINK themed boba shop, thanks to the gram!! I got suckered in when I saw they have the surprise cups here. It's a wide open space with a good amount of seating and enough tables to hang out with a group of friends. At the time of our visit, we almost missed it because it doesn't have a proper sign over the doors, just a banner. It's located in a wide open shopping center next to am Asian market with lots of parking available. I can't remember the name of the Asian store, but the shopping center looks run down and could use a revamp. We stopped in on our way home to keep us cool from the sweltering heat in the valley. We ordered 4 drinks and some popcorn chicken. I like that you can choose what flavor you want for your chicken. They also have curly fries. The drinks are really tasty, and you can adjust the sweetness level on most drinks, which is always nice. The chicken was made fresh to order, and they have a few sauce options. Prices are average, and the wait time was minimal. They also sell cute merch here like hair scrunchies, slap wrist bracelets, boba drink bags, etc. I appreciated Isaac's customer service when I went back to order a 2nd drink when I opened my 1st cup to find a PINK Kirby keychain!! LOL You know what my favorite color is, so I kindly placed my order and just so happened to mention that if the "powers that be" could make some blue or white magic happen, I'd be stoked! Well.. the powers came through, and my 2nd cup revealed a blue & white bear (I think? Or Is it a wolf or dog? lol) keychain, haha! This place rocks, and even if the entire place bleeds pink, I'm a fan! I'll be back sooner or later, and you better bet your bottom dollar I'll be manifesting blue/turquoise vibes coming out of my 3rd cup from Ume Tea! Thank you, Isaac, and the rest of the staff for making our first experience here a memorable one!

It's cute and it's pink but why is it so hot? It's like they don't have the air conditioning on at all. Not sure what that is all about. It is esthetically pleasing inside and my peach slush was really good but in comparison to other boba shops it's just like other ones. It's okay.

This place is PINK. I am a sucker for mango drinks, but a lot of places do not do mango drinks right... which is disappointing. I'm pleased to say though that Ume has a good handle on these drinks. I'm a big fan of their Mango Coco and their Mango Yogurt drinks. They're both essentially the same drink, but Mango Coco has green tea in it, and you're able to adjust the sugar, while Mango Yogurt you can't. They are on the sweeter side, so I'd suggest getting less sugar if you're able to. Both drinks come with crystal boba already, which is different from the regular honey boba you typically get in a boba drink; crystal boba is a lot chewier in my opinion, and can last well in the refrigerator. The drinks are a bit pricey; you're looking at $6-7 per cup. I strayed from the mango drinks ONCE, and that was a big mistake on my part. I didn't feel like the other drink I tried (that I can't remember, I think it was strawberry flavoured?) was that good honestly, but the mango drinks? Riveting. My protip? If you go during the day, get a Mango Coco. If you go at night, get a Mango Yogurt. I've also had their hot foods. The french fries you can probably skip on as you can get better and cheaper elsewhere. The popcorn chicken is one of my favourites though. Itea still has the best popcorn chicken I've had, but when I'm craving it + in the area, I'd get the popcorn chicken from Ume. read more

Super cool boba shop! The vibe is ultra pink and they blast K-Pop. The rabbit mascot is pretty cute as well. Drinks are priced pretty cheap with their opening week specials. Service was pretty fast but they're definitely still getting situated so be patient. Would definitely come back. read more

Oof. I ordered the jasmine milk tea and the signature boba milk tea. The cashier told me their current batch of boba was burnt, and that the new batch would take about 30 minutes to cook. He was very apologetic and nice, and offered for me to try some substitutes. Unfortunately none of them were really to my liking so I got the drink sans boba. The drinks were awful lol there was barely any hint of the "floral" tea taste in the jasmine tea, and the boba milk tea was not impressive either. Both tasted strongly of watered down milk. To top it off, the menu said $4.99 for my signature boba milk tea, but I was charged $5.95? We drank a quarter of both drinks and tossed it in the trash. read more

finally a cute Asian drink spot with normal prices Not charging you $12 for a $4 drink super pink and girly inside the bathroom needs some attention (there was no soap or paper towels and toilet paper was thrown on ground - need bigger garbage can) there needed to be more garbage cans in the store as well as they were overflowing and garbage was on the floor these are easy fixes for sure about 8 of us came in and half of us ordered drinks they were all delicious and i loved that you could choose the sweetness level read more

I've been to the Chicago location and tried the one in Arizona and it was a hit! I tried the mango yogurt and it was amazing :p unfortunately for that drink you can't get the surprise plushie but it's not a big deal. The service was also very welcoming and friendly. read more

the service and employees were very friendly. the drinks overall were yummy, not too sweet but they were warm/ room temperature so it threw me off. the popcorn chicken was sooo yummy UNTIL i noticed the chicken was a little too chewy....about a quarter of the chicken was still pink inside:( so id advise to check your chicken if you get it. read more

it's super cute here and the drinks were good and not outrageously priced. My white peach milk tea tasted more like an original tea to me but it was still okay. Be aware. We drove an hour to come here at 12pm as all the advertisement and promotions state it's from 12pm-8pm. For whatever reason we arrived and were met with a notice that says "due to Arizona hot weather, they changed the time to 4-10pm." Very disappointed. Why open in Arizona if you can't handle the weather?? This is normal Arizona weather and all the other stores boba around is open at this time. Oh well, probably not going to drive back for this. read more

CUTEST boba place ever with most adorable decor and interior. Came on opening day and got a variety of drinks and popcorn chicken. I recommend the mango ones, specifically the coco mango. I noticed in all our drinks that they weren't super sweet. We had to get some sugar syrup to add to the jasmine floral milk tea. There was a mixup with a drink we ordered but they brought us the right one quickly. They gave out so many adorable freebies too and they'll have a new deal everyday throughout opening week. I had UME in Chicago and it was so good I'm so excited they opened in Arizona now! Price is very reasonable comparing to other boba shops and you can taste their ingredients are very fresh. They have an option you can upgrade your drink to surprise cup that you can open the bottom and pull out a toy for $2.99, so cute read more

What a cute store!! Discovered Ume when I visited California. Glad they expanded to AZ. They offer a large selection of drinks and some snacks. I had one of the signature drinks coco mango, DELICIOUS!! You can tasty the quality and freshness of the ingredients they use. Employees are friendly as well. The cutest Boba shop ever. The pink bunny is so photogenic that I just have to take pictures with. The service is superb. It's hot in AZ so they even gave us a fan for the weather. How considerate! Such a cute lovely boba shop!! Staffs are very nice, especially given the heat wave in AZ at the moment. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a charming bunny-themed decor and Insta-worthy photo opportunities at every turn. I'm from LA but I still took a bunch of pictures. Their boba drinks are crafted with premium ingredients and let me just say it with the best compliment from Asian culture:" it's not too sweet" and everything is adjustable. This Boba shop is extremely fun, really cute atmosphere, and the drinks were good nothing special. We saw this place on social media and wanted to see if the hype was real. The cashier didn't really have any drinks to recommend which was interesting and they didn't like us taking more than a minute to decide our drinks. My wife got a drink with a plushie inside and loved it, very cute concept! The environment was clean, my wife also loved how pink it was. One thing we didn't like that was pink was the chicken, the popcorn chicken was raw which was really sad because the seasoning was good. Fortunately the workers remade the chicken and the owner personally apologized and gave us cute plushies to make up for it which made my wife happy. The chicken was still raw but because the owner was so kind and handled it, it made up for the experience. I preferred a refund but was over it at that point. read more

I love the beamed ceiling and the mountain scene made in wood on the wall. We ordered an iced turtle mocha and a cold brew. Both were delish. Parking may be a bit challenging, but there's enough around a 2-3 minute walking distance so you should be good!

I've heard and seen good things about Xing Fu Tang locations in other states, but if they want to survive in Mesa, AZ, they may want to start actually carrying the ingredients advertised on the menu, as well as training their employees on professionalism. For me personally, the food earns high marks, but as a family restaurant, it didn't quite hit the mark. I'd come back solo if I was craving Mediterranean, but probably not with the whole family.

You choose your base, toppings, additions, and drizzles. I went with the traditional chimney cake with Biscoff cookies, vanilla ice cream, and Nutella drizzle. Outside of the dessert options, which are the way to go for first timers, if you're feeling adventurous, they also have one or two savory options. The chimney cakes are served warm and absolutely delicious. They're filling too so come with an appetite. It's one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. This new boba shop is so cute!!! I used to come here when it was "Miss Dessert" and I definitely am going to miss them, but this place has so many fun new things to try, and such cute places to take pictures. The staff is super friendly and helpful as well! My family and I came in and tried their "Mango Mango" and "Coco Mango", both were absolutely delicious as we are all mango lovers! If you're not a grapefruit fan, then I would recommend taking the grapefruit out of the Coco Mango, but other than that it was delicious! We also ordered a popcorn chicken spicy, it was super good and juicy! I was a bit alarmed with all of the reviews I have seen about the quality, but I spoke with the owner and she politely explained to me that it was due to the chicken being marinated, that it had a tiny pink hue. I'm doing just fine other than the fact I ate too much chicken and was super full! 10/10 would recommend coming here and trying all of these items from this cute pink shop!! read more

This is a super cute pink bunny-themed boba spot - perfect for Instagram-worthy photos! The aesthetic is definitely a draw, but the drinks can be hit or miss. Sometimes they nail it, and other times it's just... meh. My all-time favorite is the Mango Mango. It's refreshing, creamy, and packed with juicy mango bits and crystal boba (though sometimes they forget the boba, which is a little disappointing). You can get it with green tea for a caffeine boost or go caffeine-free with just flavored water or juice. Another go-to of mine is the popcorn chicken. It's usually well-cooked - crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside - and packed with flavor. The chili seasonin is seriously addictive. On both visits, the staff barely acknowledged us--no greeting when we walked in or even a simple "hello" at the register. On our second visit, the experience was even more disappointing. Alyssa, in particular, was very dismissive and unengaged. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed customers. It's unfortunate because the quality of the drinks would definitely bring us back, but the lack of friendliness makes the overall experience less enjoyable.
