This particular Starbucks was located near the Northeast corner of Bass Pro Dr and Dobson Rd. I stopped here for some coffee before heading over to Sloan Park to catch an early bus ride to the start line of the Mesa Marathon. Thankfully, this was one of the few Starbucks that was open super-early at 3:30 am! I was very grateful to have my grande flat white in hand before getting on that bus at 4 am! I will have to say I am not a fan of the new look of this Starbucks. The barista section and counter seems a whole lot nicer but as for the the seating area it is not. It's not as big and open and inviting as before. It's like one big long connected sitting area that is not so comfy on the tush. I feel like if you were to go to this Starbucks to work on homework you don't really have privacy of really having your own table as before. I'm not a huge Starbucks person, but I do enjoy this location. It is spacious and the customer service is usually pretty good. I have hung out here many times to read a book or to do some work on my laptop. This Starbucks is located at Mesa Riverview near the 202 freeway. They have a nice shaded outside patio area that I enjoy during the cooler months. The mornings are busy here, but I mostly come before closing time when it is a little more quiet. Starbucks coffee will always be so-so to me, but I do appreciate a nice store to do work at that is near home. read more

Newly remodeled location SUCKS. They took away a ton of seating and eliminated any 4 top tables. Layout is terrible. Makes it more crowded everywhere inside. All small round ones. Further, instead of having tanks of drip coffee they now have a new machine that brews on demand. The problem is IT CHEATS YOU as it doesn't fill up the cup! I bought $7 coffee here and stay in for some time. After I asked for a cup of water. But was told about new policy starting next Monday. "Just so you know, starting next Monday you have to be paid customer in order to get a water" I point out that I actually "Paid customer". Didn't receive even sorry. The current crew here is AMAZING! Morning, mid, and late shift always welcome me with friendly greetings. Concerning my orders, 4.5/5 stars is given as they almost ALWAYS hit quality on the mark. This Starbucks often has a pretty long drive through line, but their staff are generally great. If they don't get your order right, they'll make it right. Lines move reasonably fast. Use the app to get rewards! Like most Starbucks, they're facing some shortages, but they deal with it well. This Starbucks is in a good neighborhood and it tends to be clean overall. I always go here to do my homework so that I can focus. There's an ample amount of space if you get here early enough, but the tables are usually filled up after 3:30/4 PM. There's an ample amount of parking as well, and the bathrooms are really clean. This Starbuckaroo is located at the northwestish corner of the Mesa Riverview shopping complex, next to a Fired Pie, bordering Dobson Rd. First of all, I abhor the setup of the driving areas here. I had to turn in and go all the way east to the stop sign to flip a U and come around to grab the entrance to the lot where this Starbucks was nestled. In the words of the great Jimmy Fallon, "Eew". Once I made it in, I was smooth sailing. Until, that is, I ended up behind a Suburban of obnoxians. They took a good 25 years to order. The poor barista repeated the order back twice. Finally, I pull up to order. I order a passion tea and a mango dragonfruit refresher. To my chagrin, this location is also out of the fruit (nothing new, as you probably caught my not-so-subtle drift), so I get some weird clear fluid. But I will say that it tasted amazing. Poor little Joyce W. can't even get her mittens on one of these babies. Starbucks just can't keep stocked of the dragon juice for my favorite dragon lady! Oh, I almost forgot...I also got one of the new autumn owl sugar cookies (despite that it is still 200 degrees outside). Cut to the line at the window. Really, there was no line. Just me behind a Suburban full of kids who don't deserve Christmas presents. They were rude to the poor barista, and sent their drinks back multiple times. The drinks that this poor gal verified TWICE. I, for one, thought that she was a sweetheart. I don't recall her name, but the fact that I couldn't give any more than $2 tip on the app made me sad. She endured too much for what she likely gets paid. I value you, sister! Our drinks were fab...fruit, or no fruit. My cookie was delectable. My service was tops.
