Pretty good. I'd never been to a Nekter, so when I suggested it to a friend we met up here for an afternoon treat. I ordered their açaí peanut butter bowl, being a super PB fan, and it was great. I don't think it needed the green apples, that's the only kind of apple I'll eat but it didn't mesh well with the rest of the bowl. I would've preferred a different type of berry, like blackberry, to complement the strawberries and bananas. Also forgot to mention how weird it was that the bowl wasn't filled all the way. I've never had a bad experience with any of the Nekter locations. They're very consistent across the board. I do prefer the locations that open a little earlier than some of the others. It's easier to stop by for a bowl or smoothie before heading into the office when the location opens around 8. If you enjoy Nekter, I highly recommend downloading their app. There's always a lot of freebies and you can easily earn points towards future visit deals. I am a smoothie enthusiast so I was excited to see how Nektar stacked up against some of my favorites at Jamba Juice and at D'Lite. I decided on a small Orange Crush smoothie. The flavor was good, nice and tangy which was what I was in the mood for but overall not "wow" quality. The texture felt to me like it was way too watery to be considered a smoothie and soon after just tasted like a healthy juice. On top of that it was pretty pricey considering the size of the small. Came here to take advantage of the FREE scoop of natural ice cream with 3 toppings last Friday. Wait was super long and they definitely should have better prepared for the crowds. Waited 20+ minutes to order and receive my food because they had to "make" more ice cream. Their organizational system was pretty flawed and they kept handing out the wrong orders. People that ordered more recently got their ice cream before those that were waiting for much longer. Seems like they corrected that issue once we told them they must've put the receipts in reverse order. I tried the vanilla ice cream with strawberry, cacao chips, and hemp granola. The toppings were great but I wasn't at all a fan of the vanilla ice cream. I did hear from someone else the chocolate ice cream tastes way better. Prices aren't cheap at all so prepare to pay $7-10 for a juice/smoothie. They do use all fresh, natural ingredients so maybe that's worth it for some folks. I may give this place another shot at some point if I'm ever craving a healthy juice/smoothie, only because of it's convenient location within Tempe Marketplace. Got PINK FLAMINGO Pitaya, strawberry, pineapple, agave nectar, and coconut water blended. I'm not a coconut water fan. I remember as a kid dumpling it out all the time husking coconuts now everyone pays for it. But this was delicious. The flavor was so refreshing light and hit the spot on a hot day. The fruits were all present and left an amazing flavor combination and signature. The juice king was right. The only problem is three are still more things to try I dont want to be stuck on one favorite drink. Good smoothies. Absolutely TERRIBLE service. Does the manager ever even work here? Every time I come in it's a bunch of extremely rude and angry young employees. They do not acknowledge you at all when you walk in. They all have headphones in, and I usually stand at the register for 4-5 mins before they awkwardly stare at you without saying a word waiting for you to order without even a "what can I get for you?" Also, it's always a group of young workers blaring extremely loud and obnoxious dance music so loud you can hear the speakers giving out. This time, however, the color of the bowl was so light that it seems hardly any Açaí was included. This bowl costs $10! It tastes like peanut butter but we all know that peanut butter doesn't cost $10. I know I am paying for açaí but when the color is so incredibly pale, I wonder if it were ever included.
