The bowls are hefty and full, so they fill you up. if you are going to get full, you might as well get full on goodness of healthy ingredients. The bowls are constructed with care and neatly arranged to make it as delightful to look at as they taste. It is nice that they have signature bowls on the menu for those indecisive, choosy people. But you can freestyle your bowl to customize what ingredients you want as well. The Pitaya base was like a sorbet / ice cream and the chia seed pudding was not slimy or weird, but added a nice parfait texture. They both went well together in the BLUE LAGOON bowl which was overall very refreshing, especially on a warm day. There are 2 sizes of bowls, Regular and Large but the Regular size is 16 ounces! A whole pound of food! So that is plenty for one person. The Large is definitely a shareable size (24 oz). Sharing is caring so you can bring a group here. I can see this place being a hang out, as there is quite a bit of space with tables inside and also a patio area. If you are new to Acai Bowls, you might think it is pricy for 1 portion, but you get what you pay for. You pay almost $10 for a fast food meal that is processed junk. But by spending a little more, at least you are eating healthy and get surprisingly stuffed (with possible leftovers) from the bowls. This place can be good for a morning boost with offerings such as smoothies and toast. Or even come here for dessert, make it a happy ending. There are ice cream sandwiches for purchase. But, why not normalize smoothies and acai bowls for dessert? How you feel is a direct result of what you put into your body. She was helpful in ensuring there was no dairy in this drink but there is dairy and nuts in other selections so people with allergies please be careful. The smoothie was $10 which is higher than I've paid in the past at places like Robek's and Jamba Juice. It was very well blended and smooth going down with a sweeter taste from the pineapple and mango. I can tell they used higher quality ingredients but since they blend it in the back I couldn't actually see the amount of fruit and veggies used. Overall, it was a nice experience and treat but not something I'd go out of my way to experience very often.

It was kinda bizarre as she barely touched the cutting boards with her towel and the boards were clearly not cleaned at all. She then just disappeared. The one making the smoothie was struggling big time shaking the blender pretty hard the entire time. She was struggling so much to get the smoothie into the cup and I saw her using her hand to get it out. Thank goodness she was wearing gloves but she was touching the blender the whole time! I even asked her to use a spatula but nope. The smoothie was ok, I could taste bits of what I assumed was the graviola. It was extremely filling and 4.5 hours later I'm still full. I like their menu but probably won't return to this location due to the lack of cleaning and sanitizing practices here.
