Every time we come we order the same thing. They repeat the order back correctly but never make it right and by the time we realize it, we're long gone or it gets to the house and it's wrong. Bahama Buck's is great for sweet cravings! They serve shaved ice, smoothies, acai bowls, and more. The flavor combinations are endless. They also offer sugar-free options. I've been here twice, but have only tried their shaved ice. I like the bubblegum flavor so far. The staff is young, but they're all fast and friendly. I've never had to wait long for usually two snow cones. The interior is pretty big and offers lots of seating. Will be back next time my family has a snow cone craving! read more

Do not waste your time at this location. We waited 40+ minutes for 3 cones. The girls working were 100% trying their best but the this place must be owned / managed by people that don't understand how to schedule people. People who were in line after us got their cones prior to us which even if you are backed up being "jumped in line" seems even more embarrassing.... Magically after we asked after a 45 minute delay we got them right away! Will not be spending our time or money here again. Poor management. read more

Just picked myself up a small blue coconut shave ice with cream and WOW I cannot recommend this place enough! When I arrived at the window the girl gave me my shave ice so quickly, but did not make it seem rushed in the slightest as we talked about how she actually works for two different locations. I told her that my shave ice was the best I have had from any bahama bucks and she informed me that the girl making it worked every night and her shaved ice always looks this good. I was so impressed with the young lady's customer service and with my shave ice, I wish I would have got their names so I could give them a proper shout out. I mean just look at it, looks so much better than other locations and is flavored perfectly in my opinion. I will definitely be coming every night that I can now. Happy to update my review today on my birthday Jeff the owner reached out to me and assured me that my previous experience was not regular service and apologized that it didn't meet our expectations. We utilized the drive thru and order 3 small flats. The kids and all ordered different flavors and enjoyed all the way to the juicy bottom of our drinks. I tried the cotton candy and it was delicious. A portion of the proceeds from this flavor are given to St. Jude and I love this idea. Instead of the normal umbrellas on top of our drinks, there wet small American flags. Great job. Happy 4th of July!!!! read more

The first time I came I got dreamsicle with bahama Rama mama. This concoction is shaved ice with tropical cream and your choice of flavor with a scoop of ice cream hiding underneath it all. I don't know why I haven't reviewed Bahama Buck's yet because it's sort of the best thing ever. My husband and I used to go to the one on Mill Ave in Tempe years ago - remember that one? - and we were so excited to have this one open in Gilbert! When people say - "hey let's go get shaved ice" you generally think of that crunchy shaved ice with the grape or cherry flavor that is good on occasion but reminds you of elementary school or skate land or something. THIS ISN'T THAT so the proper way to invite someone is to say "hey let's get Bahama Bucks" because then they know what they are getting. And it's good. Think about shaved ice that's smooth somehow because of the magic of the Bahamas or something. It's almost creamy, people. Along with the awesome texture is the insane amount of flavor choices. I typically get half pina colada and half key lime pie. My daughter gets whatever is featured (recently it was airheads) and my husband will either get cotton candy or strawberry daiquiri. If you can't find something you like then you must hate all things that are good and yummy in this world. They even have super sour or pickle flavored for the adventurous. Make sure to use your punch card - it's pure gold. Order the Bahama Rama Mama (BRM), and you'll see what I'm talking about. I've been a big fan of Bahama Buck's for years, so when this location opened in Gilbert, my wife and I were pretty excited. It's got everything you want from a BB location: A fun lively interior, loads of delicious flavors, and a drive thru. My favorite flavor combinations are blue coconut/pina colada, root beer/birthday cake, or Coca-Cola with just about anything. Make sure you get a punch card, because once you start going it's easy to rack up the punches quickly. Certain occasions will even warrant double punches, like particularly cold days or certain months of the year (right now is a July double punch promo for BRMs). BB is great for a refreshment on a hot day. A place to meet friends. Bring your kids because there's something for any age (literally, they have a kids plain shaved ice).
