Went there this evening and ordered three separate shaved ices. They forgot one of them. Ok , reordered and paid for the third. The problem that I have is if I'm gonna spend $4+ on a baby size with only half of it with syrup, you can bet I won't be coming back. If you're going to skip on the syrup and serve plain shaved ice then there is absolutely no reason to come back here. This is the only location that happens repeatedly. I love the games they have for kids. They should make a cup with some type of lid like McDonald's has with McFlurrys so when kids eat they don't splatter ice all over but it's still fun to play games and eat cold ice with kids ! Very clean inside and workers and professional. read more

So excited that they added this location! It is a chain, but Gilbert needed something different. Great customer service, awesome atmosphere and of course delicious shaved ice. Grab your boo or your family and go down there. There are so many flavors to choose from, you can go back a ton of different time and always get something new. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Waited 40 minutes and it was dead inside minus 3 customers who came in after us and had called ahead, and their orders had not been made either. I come here at least twice a week if not more. However, I have noticed within the past three months that the service has gone down tremendously. Especially in drive-thru! I was only the fourth car in line and it took 30 minutes to get to the window. Absolutely ridiculous! Now I have gone to their other locations that have drive-through in Queen Creek/Santan Valley. And they have their stuff together at that location! You are quick in and quick out. I don't know if it is because there are teenagers working at this location and they really don't care. And they tend to socialize quite a bit instead of focusing on the work. This is what I have been noticing. It's really sad because I really like this convenient location near my home. However, I might have to track it to Queen Creek/Santan Valley to get better service. Adult managers need to be on each shift to make sure things run smoothly. Electricity. The Constitution. The internet. And now Bahama Bucks. Theses people take ice, a tasteless waste of a substance, and have somehow created a flavor party of almost illegal proportions. My first trip in I thought,"Hmmmm. I like the Bahamas, why not?!" Once I walked in, I had a mild stroke trying to take in all of the flavor combinations. It was too much. As I turned to leave there was a little kid eating his shaved ice and then I thought,"If this little twerp can take the pressure, so can I!" So I ordered a combo of lime and something else that came from a bleeding wild cat. One bite and I was hooked. After eating too quickly, I thought I was having another stroke, but it was just a crippling brain freeze. They really should put a warning sign on the cup about those. Seriously, how can eating shaved ice too quickly result in blinding pain that can only be compared to passing a kidney stone?! Every year I get to take my nephew out to enjoy some of his favorite treats for his birthday. This year when he picked BB for dessert I was just as excited as he was! We had such a great experience from start to end! Warm greetings as we entered, a huge array of delicious flavors, super friendly staff, and to go drinks to take home that were made right before we left so they didn't melt while we ate ours. This review is about this location but also about BB in general. The flavoring is generally good and the ice quality is decent (although sometimes crunchy), but I have never been to a BB (including this one) that completely coated my ice with flavoring. I always have at least a golf ball sized volume of ice in the middle which is completely unflavored. We even asked for extra flavoring once, so it would be completely coated, but they still didn't get everything. Also, they often add sweet cream even when it's requested to be left off. This is pretty diappointing. Like I said, the quality is pretty good, so you just have to put up with some disappointments when visiting BB. For a really top quality shaved ice spot, I recommend Sunny Snoballs in Chandler. Maybe not as convenient, seeing as there's only 1 location, but the ice is always perfectly coated and never crunchy. Sometimes it takes a while to receive your order, but it's well worth the wait. read more

We've enjoyed Bahama Buck's for years and were sad when the QC location closed. My youngest was thrilled when he heard this new location was opening. Bahama Bucks is our mainstay since starting a keto diet. We order the sugar free with sugar free creme and it is the only thing that helps us survive the horror that is dieting. We drive out of our way to go to this specific site for three reasons. First, they do a better job on the ice than the Queen Creek store (more flavor, more cream). Second, they are faster and more professional than the other locations. Finally, Ellie!!! Ellie works the drive through and always treats us like family. I attended this Bahama Bucks on a Friday night. I am usually excited and over joyed to go out and treat me and my wife to some shaved ice. My experience this time was not what i was expecting. There was trash on the floors, all the tables were sticky, and I saw co-workers throw shaved ice at each other. The shaved ice hit one of the customers next to me too. After seeing these things I will not be attending this Bahama Bucks again. There was one good part about my visit and that was that a worker named Madison was very kind and treated me and the other customers with respect. Please give her a raise if there's any chance. Sad to say but I grew up loving this place and went to this location to get myself and my family their favorite orders and the rudest possible female teenager was there to greet us and take our order. Had an awful experience but thought everyone has their days and went back the very next day to get myself a drink and a different female teenager was even more rude. I truly don't know how that's possible. If you're only hiring rude sassy teens or if it's a miserable place to work so they're rude to everyone not sure. I was debating between 3 and 4 stars. I do enjoy the food - it is just too darn expensive. We've only gone here when we have a BOGO coupon. It's usually pretty busy when we go, so there definitely are a lot of fans. The employees are consistently nice and attentive. I've not had any quality issues. I was skeptical about the raves accolades when the locals were talking about this place. I thought "it's just shaved ice, what's the big deal?" Oh but it is such a big deal! The shaved ice was granular like most shaved ice treats and the addition of ice cream in the bottom gave me a frosty tropical experience that I had never had before. Banana and pineapple flavor never tasted so good together. Now I just need to know what it will take to either have one makes its way to the Midwest, or I've gotta start making plans to get back to Phoenix. So good! read more
