Pearl Rice Juice. $6.50 + tax. Juice fermented by fruits (fig, mangosteen & papaya), rice & yam. Unique/pretty tasty.

This is the second location of this bubble tea place which is associated with their sister spot Uluh/Little Uluh with the other one being on 14th Street. I'm unsure if they're still open as I've not been back to Industry City in a while but I presume they are as they're not listed as closed on Google and I would be surprised if they closed as they I believe had just opened when I went. For directions, this is in the same place as I believe Baolala with the drinks in front as part of Industry City Courtyard 3/4 which is past the exit from Japan Village. The drink menu is unique and a bit expensive especially as far as bubble teas. I went with the Pearl Rice Juice which is listed as "fermented by fruits (fig, mangosteen & papaya), rice & yam" which was $6.50 plus tax. There were other people before me and after me who got through drinks a bit earlier but I guess mine was a bit unique so it took longer. The online ordering system allows you to pick between fig, mangosteen, and papaya it seems, but judging by the flavor, I'm pretty sure they gave me mangosteen which I was happy about or it was a mix. It's hard to describe the flavor outside of perhaps reminding me of some fermented rice soups/Jiu Niang found in some Chinese places for dessert. By comparison, it was less alcoholic tasting of course with some more fruitiness. I'm not sure if I would ever get it again but at least it was different. Would possibly go back even with the egregious prices.

A freestanding menu board features four new seasonal beverages for autumn and winter at a Brooklyn cafe. The drinks include Black Sesame Latte, Black Sesame Matcha Latte, Air Foam Tiramisu, and Brûlée Boba Milk Tea, each with a visual representation. The board displays the cafe's address at 253 36th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232. The background shows a snowy outdoor scene with a building facade.

Overpriced mid drinks. Deceptive product images. Spend your money elsewhere. Service was good.

Industrial City is such a cool spot to walk around in Brooklyn. The whole place has this artsy,…read morewarehouse vibe with lots of food options, small shops, and outdoor space to hang. It's perfect if you just want to wander, try a few different bites, and chill for a bit. This is the second time I come to visit for the hot sauce expo. I got lucky with parking right under the train station. It was Sunday, so it was free! Next time I'll definitely give myself even more time to explore, because I want to visit every shop!

I have been a huge fan of IC since Morlene, several years ago became Brooklyn Elite CM, highlighted it. Back then IC had a few shops, restaurants and some events. Today, IC has exploded for a variety of reasons. Let's take a closer look shall we? A. Dining/AKA Food Hall When I first started patronizing this huge space, there was Japanese Village, Sunrise Mart, Sahadi's, Colson Patisserie, End's Meat. Now, there is an eclectic variety of the most wonderful eateries. Here are a few Fawn faves: 1. Burger Joint: my newest obsession. The impossible burger is out of this world. Don't let the name fool you; these burgers put the Capital G in gourmet. Is it possible for an impossible burger to be heavenly? Yup! 2. Table 87: put that frozen Table 87 pizza back in the freezer, leave grocery and proceed to Table 87 in IC. The pizza is fresh and the dough is flying..The mushroom slices are out of this world! 3. Japan Village: I still have to dine inside but the California Roll to go is always fresh and delicious. Sunrise Mart inside JV carries the most delicious frozen treats, pocki, earthenware, fresh fish and more! 4 .Sahadi's: Breakfast Saj Sandwich is a Fawn Fave that consists of Eggs, Grilled Halloumi, Harissa Aioli, Greens, Arugula salad.. scrumptious! Brunch served Saturday and Sunday 11-3. 5. Taco Mix: taqueria serving scrumptious tacos, I love the street tacos. B. Shopping: Here's a few Fawn faves: West Elm outlet was the big draw for me when I started patronizing IC. The rugs and home decor have been schlepped from IC to Bay Ridge time and time again! The service is outstanding and WE was so popular it left Building 2 and relocated to s bigger beautiful space. Brooklyn Candle: attended an Elite Event this past winter and the variety of candles and scents are amazing! I purchased the Brooklyn and Maui scented candles and they smell out of this world. Daiso Daiso offers a one-stop-shop experience with over 100,000 products ranging from Japanese-inspired home decor to stationery and food. The offerings are plentiful and the service is very friendly. C. Special Events: IC has a monthly calendar that features a wide range of events to attend. From pub crawls, karaoke, pottery and crafts, you can find a plethora of activities and events to participate. Sahadi's in the past would host mini live concerts in their Al fresco dining area. As you can see, Industry City offers something for everyone! Industry City 220 36th Street Take R to 36th, 5 minute walj

Nestled in the Industry City food court is this new bowl phenomenon called Avo. Seed oil free,…read morehealthy and nutritious - there is so much to love about this bowl. I ordered the buy one get one free spicy chicken bowl on Uber Eats, which was a pretty good deal. I think the additional chicken al pastor I added had more seasoning than the original chicken, even though this bowl is advertised as spicy, I think the seasonings are a little on the light side. The dressing that came on the side was delicious and was essential to brighten the whole thing up. I love that these bowls are high fiber and not drowning in lots of rice like Chipotle and the likes. The cabbage adds a necessary crunch for texture without adding too many calories. The addition of the half avocado is also so good and the flavor profile of the entire bowl is really delicious. I can't wait to come again and try more of their combos. This is a great spot to grab a quick lunch or mid afternoon meal. They will be seeing more of me!

The interior is clean, bright, and spacious, and the staff are all super sweet and attentive (I don't believe I've ever raved about an establishment's staff and service as much as this one). We ordered twice today, for pick-up via a third-party delivery service. Altogether, we ordered six drinks: one Pearl Milk Tea, one Lemon Fruit Sherbet, two Mango Teas with Fresh Pulp (one with coconut jelly), and two Wish Special Fruit Teas. The first time around, when we stopped by to pick up our order, the Pearl Milk Tea was already sitting on the counter while the staff was finishing up the Lemon Fruit Sherbet. When she was done, she confirmed with us that we did indeed order the Lemon Fruit Sherbet with no sugar (because it's very sour), and we assured her that it was correct. We saw another Lemon Fruit Sherbet on the counter and she told that she accidentally made one with sugar before we arrived, and asked if we would like that one as well. We politely rejected it, but I thought the very thought and gesture was extremely sweet and kind. I've tried almost all their menu items, and the fruit teas are my favorite. The Wish Special Fruit Tea, in particular, is light, fruity, and refreshing, with pineapple, passionfruit, lemon and orange slices, freshly squeezed lemon and orange juices, and black tea. My recommendations (if you want something fruity): * Wish Special Fruit Tea * Orange Green Tea * Mango Tea with Fresh Pulp * Lychee Tea with Fresh Pulp * Peach and Mango Babo
