    Strawberry matcha latte
    Heidi M.

One of my favorite chains for BBT. The iced strawberry matcha latte I got this weekend was delicious!! The tapioca balls were perfect and chewy. Just wish there were more nondairy milk options, but soy milk is better than nothing! Nice, quick service.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a gong cha in park slope! I got the dirty brown sugar milk tea and it is one of my favorite drinks to get. It's super creamy and refreshing to drink. I got 70% sugar because their drinks are a little on the sweeter side and it was perfect! Definitely can't go wrong with a small twist to a classic milk tea!

I love this little tea place in my own hood it's my go to place for a fun beverage. I love the variety of sections ranging from slush fruit drinks to hot tea beverages. At this point my favorite is slush Lychee with no added sugar so delish and refreshing. I look forward to my next drink hmmmm what will it be??? Lol

    Top 10 drinks.

This is my FAVORITE chain of bubble tea places. Everything is customizable- ice, sugar, toppings. My favorite drink here is the milk foam dirty brown sugar milk tea. It doesn't come with the tapioca bubbles, but I like it just fine. The standard Pearl milk tea is good too. All the flavored teas are really refreshing. I am so happy they opened up a store in Park Slope.

Recently open in the neighborhood. Park slope definitely needs a bubble tea place. Like other Gong Cha, they have option on level of sugar, ice . You can always ask if lowering the sugar level affects the taste of the drink. My go to is the taro milk green tea with bubbles but this time I got a milk pearl tea with bubbles because my 3 year old pointed at the drink and insisted that we must have that! I can't argue with her. Bubbles where perfectly cooked and slightly chewy. We got no ice and it was perfect for this weather. It did take some time for them to make the drinks and it's still a small space so you may have to wait outside for your drink.

The matcha latte was really smooth and not too sweet, which I liked. Sometimes matcha can taste kind of bitter, but this one was balanced and tasted fresh. It was light and easy to drink, not too heavy. The açaí bowl was probably my favorite. The base was thick and flavorful, not watery at all. The fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet, and the granola added a nice crunch that made everything come together. It felt filling but still healthy, which is exactly what I wanted. The staff were friendly, and my order came out pretty fast, so that was a plus. Overall, everything felt well-made and worth the price. I'd definitely go back again and would recommend it if you're looking for something fresh, healthy, and actually tasty.

One thing I liked about these tablets is that it did have some recommended suggestions of what the best milk and sugar level would be for each drink. I found this drink was a little boring and wish I had ordered a topping like cheese foam in addition to it, but was served in a cute plastic mason jar looking cup. My friend got the Creamy Real Taro Paste Bobo with organic oat milk, milk tea and light ice. I had also selected the option to sample the Taro, but sadly was not offered any. This drink was much more exciting and I really enjoyed the unique flavors and texture when I got to try several sips of it. Again, one thing that really stood out was the variety of selections one could make when customizing their drink. This place looks like it has rotating/seasonal options and an interesting food menu as well and so I do plan on returning!

I ordered a Grilled Pork Banh Mi with medium spicy, and sat in the AC'd store while they prepared my food. Got my hot bag, then went on my way towards Prospect Park. Due to unforeseen events, I ate my Banh Mi about 2 hours later, while it was still warm enough, this banh mi was still absolutely delicious. The sandwich has a slight kick (pretty strong for medium), but it was definitely not overwhelming. Pickled veggies are fresh, crispy, and not overpowering either. The meat was delicious!!! Grilled perfectly, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Bun is also delicious. I don't know what to say, didn't try their pho or boba, but their banh mi is worth a visit, and a return visit. I was super happy that this place didn't opt for the usual mayo bland dressing that most Viet places use, but they kept their sandwich juicy yet not heavy. Great food.

I've been to the three locations, assuming they're the same owners. It was clean and cool (A/C) when I arrived. I placed my order at the counter and picked it up when ready. They'll call your number. I ordered the Combo which was one Garden and one Summer (with Shrimp). In no time it was ready. I just had Garden Rolls last week at a neighboring competitor (a new spot) which turned out to be disappointing (read my review). Today's rolls were what they're supposed to be: the rice paper was thin and tender to the bite. The Garden Roll included cucumbers and mint (shredded carrots absent. Or maybe it's supposed to be without?) and the Summer roll lined up the shrimp which was visible through the rice paper. Both were delicious. Important key to these rolls is the peanut dipping sauce. Theirs was thick enough but with the ability to dip those yummy rolls with every bite. Satisfied customer and will return.

The grass jelly was very minimal for paucity - total dismay. The entire drink was embedded with lime, lime pulp and fresh pieces of peach fruit. I wanted the supporting cast to be grass jelly and the lead to be Jasmine green tea, but this lime and heavy lime pulp were aggravating annoyance that stole the spotlight. I decribe the amount of herbal jelly topping to be scant, conveying insufficiency or minimalism. There were absolutely nothing alleged special of this peach sauce. I have chosen my default 30% sugar which highly counteracted with the lime. The lime and lime pulp were very strong. My drink tasted intensely sour, albeit refreshing. A lime drink is not my desideratum. Lime is not my interest. The woman cashier/ server Mattie was attentive, friendly welcoming who served with warm hospitality and patience for customer service. She permitted me to take a lot of photos for this review without any complaints as I could not resist this very cute adorable Shiba theme. If I could suggest to the owner for change of this drink ingredients either to remove of this lime and lime pulp, or significantly decreased the amount inputted. If I could, I could. For $0.75 as a paid topping it is my prerogative to have one quarter quantity of the drink size. The full ice melted entirely, but my drink sustained its coolness and was still chilled during my long-haul subway ride home. Disappointedly, there are no takeout drink menus.
