heytea always has a line so preorder beforehand on the app or via qr code ! drinks are meh to me
Ordered the not a margarita and it was delicious. Try to order pick up or order ahead as the wait can be lengthy
Conveniently located Heytea close to work. After 5 theres a small wait as there are lots of students visiting after class along with the 9-5's visiting after work. Nonetheless, I can tell the staff is trying their best despite the huge rush. Sometimes they run out of the mochi, but they always make sure to ask you what you want for a replacement. Its a rather smaller Heytea than, but it does the job. Grab your drink and go! There are 3 counter seats if individuals want to stay but for the most part, I see people grab and go! One of my experiences was that I received the wrong order and upon messaging support they gave me a free drink coupon! Thanks Heytea!
The tea flavor was strong but not overbearing which I really enjoyed. The drink itself came out in 5 minutes which is pretty fast imo. I came during the weekend and it wasn't that busy which was nice. My only cons were there was a lot of ice in the drink so I finished it in a few sips.
My black tea with milk and tapioca was delicious. The place is always busy so expect a bit of a wait. The shop looks clean. Will comeback!
The drinks we ordered were pretty good, with my favorite being the seasonal Guava Purple Grape. The loss of a star is mostly due to the time it took to get our drinks. The staff were working pretty quickly but were clearly understaffed as it took 15 minutes for someone to become available to take our order and another 25 for the drinks to be ready. It would be helpful to have a self order kiosk at this location.

My current favorite tea chain! So happy they now have an outpost in downtown Brooklyn! They offer the same items as the downtown Flushing branch. The difference is that there is no seating area - it's a small space and meant for ordering takeouts. --- 10/24/24 have been here on a regular basis and the staff is always friendly and wears a smile. The gorgeous, minimalist aesthetic paired with the aromatherapy scent of gardenia (or jasmine? Frangipani? Someone please tell me what they use!) and genuine customer service makes this may fave HeyTea location! Oh, and I just saw their sign out front saying my fave Coconut Mango Boom small is only 260 calories! HUWAAATTTTTT. I LOVE THEM MORE! I can indulge without feeling guilty!
Yum yum yum! This is a fairly new boba place in Downtown Brooklyn and I am a huge fan! HeyTea is a Chinese boba chain and I'm glad they're opening locations in the US. It's a really premium product and I really like the emphasis on natural tea, not powders, and generally quality ingredients. I got the coconut mango boom, and thought that there were sooo many fun textures. I got it with less sugar and thought it was still really delectable. The prices feel in line with other boba places, but it was a quality drink and was worth it as a treat IMO considering the better ingredients. It's a small storefront that is best for picking up your drink to go vs. sitting down with a friend as there isn't much seating. Service is very quick, friendly, and I got my drink within 5 minutes. It's really nice and clean inside and smells great too! Highly recommend this spot for boba!
OMG! Best bubble tea ever! I got the Crisp Grape Bloom with boba--never had grape bubble tea before and now it's my favorite! It's not too sweet. My friend got the Strawberry Boom and loved it too. Just a tip: don't go right when they open--they're still prepping fresh ingredients. We paid and came back later, which worked out. Staff were super nice, and everything tasted fresh!

I like that they offer Half Sweet options ( less sugar) . Fruit flavors are authentic and not artificial tasting. The price range is good too, lots of drinks begin at about $6 and change. TheaDrinks are customizable. Minimal seating so grab and go looks like the vibe they prefer. No bathroom at this location. (Willoughby St) Although I recommend using three app, there are some buggy /glitchy issues that need tweaking especially choosing location. I'm sure they'll figure it out soon enough. There are also coupons and sort of rewards in the app that gives some buying perks. I however had 2 free drinks and when I redeemed thru app it only gave 1 drink free. The girl at the pickup counter couldn't figure it out but did call her manager (on speaker) and they both couldn't figure out ,so I eventually left with one. Anyway drink was good, Coconut Mango Boom tastes like a fresh Mango and coconut jelly, quite like a tropical vacation.
What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon one of my favorite boba chains on my walk to the train station! I was luckily able to catch them during their Grand Opening week, so I was able to take advantage of their BOGO 50% off offer. I ordered the Strawberry Peach Boom Tea ($6.99) and the Grapefruit Mango Boom Tea ($7.49). The Strawberry Peach was fruity and refreshing, heavy on the peach and light on the strawberry flavor. A close second to my favorite, the classic Grape Boom Tea (though I absolutely love the jelly and crunchy boba toppings). The space is small so there is no seating but the staff are friendly and efficient. Another solid entry to what I am dubbing Boba Alley (the stretch of Willoughby from Flatbush to Jay St that is home to 5+ boba shops)!

HeyTea is a well known Chinese tea chain, and this Brooklyn location on 86th Street brings the same quality ingredients and creative drink menu that made the brand popular. I walked into a clean, modern space that gets busy, but the real story here is the drinks. The coconut mango boom is the standout and the one worth ordering first. It is fresh, well balanced, and the kind of drink that makes sense why people keep coming back for it. The matcha options are solid across the board, with the cheese foam adding a creamy, lightly sweet layer on top that works well without overwhelming the tea underneath. The kale boost tea is one of my favorites, and whenever the green grape boom is on the menu, that is also a star choice. Sugar and ice levels are adjustable, which gives me enough control to dial in exactly what I want. Wait times are the main issue at this location and worth factoring into my visit before I commit. Half an hour or more is not unusual even when the shop does not look particularly busy, and that gap between how busy the place appears and how long orders actually take is a recurring frustration. Ordering ahead on the app is the smarter move if I want to minimize the time spent standing around. The drink quality itself is hard to argue with when everything comes together right. If I am in the Bay Ridge or Dyker Heights area and want a step up from the usual tea shop options, this is the one to go to, just plan ahead for the wait. read more
While walking around downtown Brooklyn, I had a craving for boba and was glad to find Heytea. The store was pretty busy with some large delivery order, but the employees were working non-stop. I ordered the Coconut Mango Boom ($6.49) and the drinks is simply delicious. I usually take a long time to finish my drinks, but this left me wanting even more. read more

This place is a hidden gem. Once you walk into the door, you will be amazed by how clean and modern the whole space is. A great place to chill. Also, the drinks' qualities are high. That's not surprising, since this is a word-wildly famous chain drink store. The staff are friendly as well. If you are nearby, I'd recommend to grab a drink or 2. read more
