I came here in the afternoon, mid-week, to find a refreshing bubble tea spot with a place to take a quick meeting! The space itself is very small, and this menu definitely leans more towards fried chicken options, as well as fruit base tea. I do appreciate the calorie counts that were available, but I did not feel like there was much variety as far as milk/milk substitute teas. I decided to settle with a mango tea, with two scoops of popping boba and like 25% sweetness. I was not able to finish even half of this tea as I felt like it was so sugary that it was starting to make me feel bit sick. I highly recommend not getting any added sugar if you were going to get a fruit tea from here. As far as taking my meeting went, there were two very small tables that were exposed to the street, and I was able to take my meeting, but I had to hotspot as they do not have Wi-Fi here. I would say the best part of my little excursion here was the woman at the front counter who was extremely helpful and friendly. She had great energy! read more

I would give this place a 3.5 since it's decent for being in Williamsburg but isn't the best fruit tea I've had. I got their lychee tea which was $5.50 and added on aloe $1. They do give a generous amount of aloe which I really like! The lychee tea was sweetened at 70% and it was good but missing that fruit and deeper tea flavor at other tea shops in Chinatown or Queens area. So the taste was okay on the drink. Overall, it did quench my thirst! I do appreciate the workers were super fast. They have a small sitting area you can sit to enjoy your drink. read more

I've seen this place a couple times after the gym and I'm glad I tried it today. The lady at the register had so much energy and was really cool with us. We had the coconut tea and Oreo crème brûlée and they tasted great, however I'm biased as I love everything coconut. The chicken tasted good and the sausage tasted so good we bought more. It's a small shop enough to seat one group really but the art on the wall and the posters are really attention grabbing. You should give them a chance. read more

This a hidden bubble tea shop. I was strolling down Court Street just noticed it towards the end of the block. They make a large variety of different drinks! It's not just tea. They have fruity drinks too. You can specify the toppings you want included/excluded. They offer boba and assorted jellies too! You can Specifying the amount of ice and sugar is an added plus. Vivi Bubble Tea shops are sprouting in other neighborhoods, but this particular Brooklyn Heights location continues to be my favorite! I love their teas with the ability to customize a selection according to one's preference. Vivi is a small, hole in the wall shop and located across from the Regal Cinema and Barnes & Noble. Yes, it can get quite busy/crowded here. Staff are really helpful and efficient. I love the varieties of tea and each time I visit, i try something new. A range of calories are posted based on dairy and sugar content. Helpful since I dislike sweet beverages that can easily become a part of my daily caloric intake. These days, i rarely ask for the tapioca bubbles to be included since I'm a fan of the jelly! Recently, I tried an iced Oolong jelly and it was so refreshing and delicious. As stated, my preference is not sweet and so I select 30% sugar, regular ice and no bubbles (although I've tried teas with bubbles in the past). According to staff, any sugar selection below 30% is 0% and that's too tart (but I've also tried it as such. Get ready to pucker up!) Some of my other favorites were Jasmine Honey, Strawberry and on occasion, their dessert-like milk tea. It serves as a sweet treat for me (loved the taro). I haven't tried their food (yet) but dumplings and ramen dominate the menu. When the weather is colder, their hot lemon-kumquat tea will soothe your soul. It is really good. The iced variety outnumber the hot and I'm so looking forward to expanding my "must try" tea flavor list. I'll keep my punch card (only for the Court Street location) handy and pay Vivi a visit whenever I'm doing a power walk or in the area. (BTW, I think prices are reasonable--large tea about 5 bucks) I'm addicted. Good stuff. read more

My go to bubble tea place when ever I do my pole class. Conveniently located a block away from the studio. Would always get the same thing. Peach aloe tea. It's your typical bubble tea place. It has a variety of mixed bubble tea. You can choose your level of ice and sugar and toppings. Service was as expected. People were friendly and prompt. "There's a Vivi in Brooklyn Heights?" Of course there's a Vivi in Brooklyn Heights. The idea of bubble tea being confined strictly in Asian hoods has clearly graduated to any place that could use a little boba love. Vivi's aggressive expansion into all corners is clearly working for them, and they're busting out all the stops to spread the (tapioca) pearls. People are coming here constantly. I've been here at random times to see it being frequented by all groups of young folks (presumably coming from the theatre across the street). There's no line usually, but a crowd can appear out of nowhere and fast. The counter space doesn't allow for much room, so the staff usually does a solid job of fulfilling orders quickly. It is a narrow hallway that leads into some seating in the back where there is also a bathroom. There's free WiFi and just enough seats for dates and small groups. The staff is not the best when it comes to cleaning that area, so folks best tidy up after they're done using the space. Speaking of the staff, Vivi hasn't gone full assimilation with locals of the hoods they're coming out to, most everyone on the staff is Chinese/Taiwanese with a decent command of English. The drinks themselves are no different than the standard flavors that come at any boba spot. My taro slush with 60% sugar always hits the spot and the passion fruit / kumquat boba is refreshing. They also serve food here, which is a smattering of random things from Japanese ramen to Vietnamese banh mi (#1). In the interest of being completely honest, none of it looks all that appetizing. Not even the dumplings. This is strictly a neighborhood spot that is only convenient when around. Do come here if Brooklyn / Manhattan Chinatown seem too far away, but don't expect it to be better than what's already out there. __________ (#1) They even spent the time to write the menu in proper Viet letters ("bánh mì đc bit") -- I'd like to see how the staff pronounces it. read more

Always wanted to check this place out. I love milk teas! This place is great! A little small but that okay. Service is fast, efficient, and the prices are great! I chose to get the 3Q Milk Tea...not sure what that was so I politely asked and the lady at the register gladly smiled and laughed, explaining to me what was in it. It tasted GREAT! Just your average bubble tea spot--I've had much much better, but I've also had much worse so 3 stars. I think the worst thing about this place is how tiny it is, when you walk in there's barely any room to stand to order. I had the black milk bubble tea with 30% less sugar. I feel like they didn't give me enough bubbles, but the tea was alright, i like they give patrons the option of putting in less sugar. 70%, 50%, 30% and no sugar--they recommend people to try it regular before reducing sugar, but I find the regular one to be way too sweet, especially with the added sweetness of the bubbles. Try it and see for yourself! Edit: I've changed my mind. This place is one star above my previous 3 star rating. The more you come here the better it tastes. I also think it's dependent on the person making your drink, but I can't get enough bubble tea! read more

The place is okay, and the decor is nice, but its a bit too small in the front of the house which causes people to crowd around the cashier. Also you get way too many obnoxious people in there because of the theater across the street. This makes the wait time for a bubble tea pretty long during peak hours. There was also quite a number of mosquitoes in the place due to the humidity. I would say stop in if you are around in the middle of the day on a weekday or something, but if its a Saturday Night with a new movie premier dont bother.... you will have to pray for a tea. read more

Tthey have a solid taro slush ($4.50), but the boba is subpar and costs an extra $0.50. I'd recommend it in the Brooklyn Heights area as long as you get the bubble tea without boba - pretty decent 4 star quality but only 3 star quality with boba. read more

This Vivi is not quite as good as other Vivi locations. I like the LES one, the one in Chinatown on Bayard, and the one in New Brunswick. The bubbles at this place were way too hard, and I'm pretty sure they were actually sitting out on the counter for a while. But, there is a nice seating area in the back with enough for maybe 15 people to sit. And it's cute - the wall is covered with movie posters and it's well lit. Probably a pretty decent bubble tea place for Brooklyn Heights, but not that great in the general realm of bubble tea. read more

I L. O. V. E. THIS BUBBLE TEA!!!!!!!!!!! Well... maybe not that much. I always get the jasmine bubble milk tea but one thing that I love about this place is their variety of tea and there customization. The fact that they hand out loyalty cards keeps me coming back although there service isn't my favorite. The bubble tea is definitely worth the trip and it won't cost you very much. The food was not my favorite or worth the wait. I would suggest finding somewhere else to eat while you sip on your fantastic bubble tea . read more

This shop is cute and the staff is respectful. They have a variety of bubble tea to tickle your taste buds. I decided to try this restaurant out because it was recommended to me by a friend who frequents this establishment often. Upon entering we were acknowledged by the cashier who wasn't friendly but she was attentive. She took our orders and after a brief wait our beverages were finish. Now prepare yourself for the bubble tea experience , its like nothing you've ever tasted especially if you never had tapioca balls. Beware the straw used to drink the tea is very wide so the tapioca balls will enter your mouth as you drink. My first sip was a mind blowing experience that I can not describe as anything short of unique. read more

This review is only about the Banh Mi; I didn't try the bubble tea. When I ordered my sandwich, the person behind the counter shouted at someone in the back, who appeared a moment later and appeared to have been asleep. He disappeared again behind a curtain to make my sandwich. After he was back there presumably making my sandwich for ten minutes, I was expecting the best, freshest banh mi of my life. Then he appeared and asked me if I planned on "taking my sandwich apart." I did not understand, but I eventually understood that he was saying he made the sandwich too large, and could not wrap it for me to take it. He disappeared again and the person behind the counter went back to help him. Eventually he came out with my sandwich and I left, 15 minutes after I went in (in that time there were only two other customers, both who only ordered teas). When I got home, the sandwich was cold. The bread was stale. There was an enormous amount of mayo, but even so, it did nothing to offset how dry and flavorless the crumbly pate was. I threw it out, afraid I was going to be poisoned by how old the ingredients seemed to be. read more

I'm not intentionally trying to bash this establishment. However if someone from vivi reads this, please check your machines and or ingredients. I made a quick stop after getting a rather annoying craving for boba tea. It was my first time even hearing of the place, so I did a quick search on Yelp and relied on my fellow reviewers to not let me down. They didn't. My taro tea was yummy. It wasn't the best I've had, but it was good for the price. The two people in front were nice and the shop was clean but definitely small so don't expect to come and lounge. I LOVE THIS PLACE. First of all, I've been craving for a pro and branded bubble tea place at downtown Brooklyn and Court Street location has fulfilled my dream. Compared to other locations I've been to, this location especially makes me feel delightful because there are seats in the back of the store and the store is completely air conditioned so I didn't have to worry about having to sweat in the hot days. Second of all, The service and reward program are more satisfying than other locations. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and a Vietnamese House Special sandwich, OMG, the lemonjade was so refreshing and attractive, i asked one of the barista and she said there is actual lemon juice and lemon jelly in it, which is very healthy for a person like me because I aspire healthy lifestyle. The house special sandwich was special that it was moist and delicious. Overall, 5 stars. Bubble tea is my daily basis and I strongly recommend this location :) read more

I've been seeing multiple locations of this boba shop throughout Manhattan as well as different areas in BK. This summer heat has been no joke lately so when I knew I had a couple blocks to walk, I had no hesitation of popping in to grab an iced boba drink. The menu was a little overwhelming, but I think they cater to whatever your taste buds may be craving whether it's a milk tea, slush, iced or hot tea, etc. I played it safe and got something I'd normally get a most boba tea spots which is peach green tea with tapioca. To my surprise it was very refreshing, not too sweet and it even had a few fresh (or at least I hope it was) peach chunks in it which I like to have for more texture. The boba was also great, not too soft or too hard, but I do feel like they could have added more into the drink. They offer a frequent customer rewards program which offers a free drink after you've visited multiple times. Unfortunately it only applies to this location. I'm glad I was satisfied with my order as I now won't have any hesitation to come to other locations when craving boba. read more

Just another bubble tea place. But another one in Brooklyn! The layout of the store is really awkward. There's a tiny little pathway to actual seating area but its covered by people trying to order their drinks. Yes, there is seating. They also have a cute macaroon section. I got the plain milk tea. I asked for no tapioca, but lo and behold. I got tapioca in my drink. I was in a rush so I just sucked it up and took it. Their milk tea reminds me of kung fu tea's milk tea. A little too much on the creamy side. And to be honest, I prefer chat time's milk tea. They do have one of those punchcards for a free drink. I'll have to come back and try some other things. read more

This is a very small place, which means that there aren't any seats and tables available for you. Friendly staff and lovely drinks.

Cheap drinks and they're made well. I haven't had bubble tea at that many different places, but I can't imagine it gets much better than this. I believe they also have a program where you get one free drink for every ten you buy. If you go one or twice a week that's not a bad value. The selection is also great, if you can't find something you like on this menu you've got to be the most picky person in the world. read more
