I hadn't visited Chun Yang Tea in awhile so I decided to stop by to grab a drink. I ordered the strawberry green tea with pearls. It was refreshing, good and the pearls were delicious. Short wait time but it was worth it.

Mango Cheese Drink

The first time I came to Chun Yang was for a Yelp event when they first opened. This was my first time back since then, and my eyes were immediately caught by the mango cheese drink. I'm a fan of a sweet drink with a salty element. The cheese foam met all of my expectations in terms of adding that savoury hint. The drink itself was really good. One of the staff told me to shake it before drinking but literally nothing moved ( it may have just been from habit of saying it) but I do think everything being a little more liquid (to make it easily mixable) could've helped the drink feel more cohesive. Looking forward to returning and trying more drinks. So far, the flavours of everything have been great!

Excellent new boba shop in downtown Brooklyn by the Jay Street-Metrotech stop! DTBK surprisingly has a decent number of solid boba shops like Wanpo, Möge Tea, and Debutea, but Chun Yang definitely holds its own against all of them. I was eyeing the Peach Smoothie but since smoothie drinks can't have the sweetness adjusted (which is the case at most places), I opted for the purple rice sago latte with 30% sugar. It was the perfect level of sweetness I asked for and well-blended, very satisfying. They have an open prep area and you can see they use premium milk and other ingredients. The drinks were made very quickly and the space is clean and brightly lit - give them a try!

Keepin it real in Downtown Brooklyn Chun Yang is one of those boba spots that don't have to try. The name speaks for itself throughout the last few years. Every spot is clean with great customer service and the drinks are always quality. Imo they specialize in the non milky tea drinks but honestly i tried them all, all fire

This is the best bubble tea I ever had! It actually tasted fresh, delicious, and had well-balanced flavors. The store is new and super clean. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. The location is convenient. I will absolutely be back.

Anniversary Cosmo Guava Mango Orange Smoothie 1000/10

Was in the area and wanted to at least stop by and try a drink. My drink was delicious and tasteful. I didn't expect it to taste so fresh and flavorful. I got the anniversary guava mango smoothie. Service was good. He made sure and ask me if I was ready to order. Took his time to share with me his option on the drink and he also compare it to something that I would try. The colors was very bold welcoming. Drink menu was visible to go and next to the ordering station. Very clean and fully organized

A great bubble tea spot right outside the Jay St-Metro Tech Station. The fruit teas taste like real fruit without all of the artificial flavoring. I feel like service could be slightly quicker but otherwise, it's a great spot Mango Mountain Tea: Not super sweet combined with chunks of mango. Great mango fruit drink to get Mango Coconut Sago: Get this if you love coconut, mango and sago. A great mix of these with sago makes it feel like a dessert drink that isn't overwhelmingly sweet. Raspberry Oolong Tea: Super tarty drink mixed with Raspberry bits. If you're a fan of raspberries, you'll love this drink.

Newly open on a busy street. The location is tiny and you could barely see it if you don't pay attention. The shop itself is very small too. No chair or table inside. If you need a sit down place, this is not it. Decor inside is simple. Nothing fancy even though they set up a wall for you to take pictures but it isn't that cute. There wasn't a line when I got in and I got my order pretty fast. Their sizes are a little different: they have M, L H/L. Basically, I guess M is a small size. I ordered M sized cup (see pictures) and they're small. Now for the flavor: The regular bubble tea:2/5. I wouldn't pay $7-8 for this. The red bean oolong tea-4/5. I add grass jelly, which made it more flavorful. If you pass by the area and you want some bubble tea, then I guess you could give it a try but I don't recommend the regular bubble tea.

I stopped by Chun Yang Tea during their Grand Opening weekend where they were running a BOGO promotion on their entire menu. The tea shop is quite small, so I would definitely recommend getting your drinks to go. Everything is super new and super clean and the staff were very friendly too. I ordered the Honey Osmanthus Oolong Tea ($6.25) which is my usual order, and the Lemon Green Tea with Aiyu Jelly ($6.25) to try. The former is great if you like a tea-forward drink that is heavy on the florals. The latter was very refreshing and I loved how the soft aiyu jelly added the perfect amount of sweetness to an otherwise tart and bitter tea. Compared to the surrounding boba shops in the area, I would recommend Chun Yang Tea if you like to focus on the flavor and quality of tea.

The people who work here are very nice and the drinks are wonderful. They have a special for the grand opening buy one get one free! The atmosphere is great parking around the area.

The matcha latte was really smooth and not too sweet, which I liked. Sometimes matcha can taste kind of bitter, but this one was balanced and tasted fresh. It was light and easy to drink, not too heavy. The açaí bowl was probably my favorite. The base was thick and flavorful, not watery at all. The fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet, and the granola added a nice crunch that made everything come together. It felt filling but still healthy, which is exactly what I wanted. The staff were friendly, and my order came out pretty fast, so that was a plus. Overall, everything felt well-made and worth the price. I'd definitely go back again and would recommend it if you're looking for something fresh, healthy, and actually tasty.

The grass jelly was very minimal for paucity - total dismay. The entire drink was embedded with lime, lime pulp and fresh pieces of peach fruit. I wanted the supporting cast to be grass jelly and the lead to be Jasmine green tea, but this lime and heavy lime pulp were aggravating annoyance that stole the spotlight. I decribe the amount of herbal jelly topping to be scant, conveying insufficiency or minimalism. There were absolutely nothing alleged special of this peach sauce. I have chosen my default 30% sugar which highly counteracted with the lime. The lime and lime pulp were very strong. My drink tasted intensely sour, albeit refreshing. A lime drink is not my desideratum. Lime is not my interest. The woman cashier/ server Mattie was attentive, friendly welcoming who served with warm hospitality and patience for customer service. She permitted me to take a lot of photos for this review without any complaints as I could not resist this very cute adorable Shiba theme. If I could suggest to the owner for change of this drink ingredients either to remove of this lime and lime pulp, or significantly decreased the amount inputted. If I could, I could. For $0.75 as a paid topping it is my prerogative to have one quarter quantity of the drink size. The full ice melted entirely, but my drink sustained its coolness and was still chilled during my long-haul subway ride home. Disappointedly, there are no takeout drink menus.

Husband tried the Spicy Sichuan Cold Noodle but he didn't find it to be spicy enough. Toddler enjoyed the Sesame Noodle. I also liked the flavor of the pan fried beef dumplings with the dipping sauce, but the wrappers definitely wasn't crispy for a take out order by the time we got home, probably best eaten fresh near the store. Everything is already packaged in takeout containers, so best to enjoy at home. I ordered the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup ($13.75) while the boyfriend got the Sweet Pork Bing ($10.25). We also each got our own Black Sugar Milk Tea ($5 each). The drink was standard, but pretty tiny. As for the food, the bing was pretty solid but messy to eat as it's held together with a thin scallion pancake with egg. This is a classic Taiwanese item to get for sure. I also enjoyed the beef noodle soup, but honestly pretty standard as well. While I'm glad I got to try this spot out, I don't think it stood out enough to me to come back. Plus, the price point is on the higher end being in Cobble Hill too.
