    Lemonade for the little one
    Nelle C.

Tbaar is a solid choice for sating your tea cravings. They have a partnership with Kyuramen next door, so i had already experienced their Thai iced tea when i added it to a ramen order some months ago. This time i opted to place my order for pickup via Grubhub. i had my 3-year-old with me, so i ordered a strawberry lemonade, a coconut smoothie, and a Thai iced tea. i like that i was able to specify the amount of sugar for the beverages as i try to make sure my lil ones aren't in the habit of having sugary drinks. Each beverage was delightful. Not too sweet, flavorful, and the order was completed in a reasonable amount of time. As far as their customer service goes, i do wish that they greeted customers upon entry. They have a tablet set up whereby you can place your order instead of a cashier, but i had already placed my order online, so i kind of awkwardly stood around and then voiced that i thought i saw my order on the counter. The barista bagged it up expeditiously, but just having someone say, "Welcome - if you'd like to order, please use this kiosk or let me know if you're picking up." would add a bit more warmth and efficiency to the experience. Overall, a good spot for teas, juices, and smoothies.

Tbaar is one of the better value bubble tea spots in Park Slope. Their prices are good given the quality and quantity. Plenty of boba.Clean professional presentation. And I really like the option to adjust the sugar level. I wish they offered the online option to choose skim/no fat milk for delivery/pickup. Overall, very good experience.

Small shop, not much space to sit around, just 1 bench to grab your drinks and go. Great drinks and service even when the shop was full. Very kind staff.

Tried their popcorn chicken and classic lemonade. The lemonade was 5/5! Got it with 75% sugar and 25% ice and it was perfect! The lemonade was zesty and very refreshing! The popcorn chicken on the other hand, was not as good. The flavor was on point and the chicken was crispy but they were pretty dry. Highly recommend the lemonade but the chicken, not so much.

The lychee lime green tea!!! Amazing. I went with less sugar and lychee jelly and it was thee perfect drink. Came up to $5.88 for a medium which is reasonable. Service was fast & I was able to use the self service kiosk to order. This might be my new go-to bubble tea spot.

Tbaar is a really solid bubble tea shop in Park Slope. I tried the milk tea with bobba and taste was on point. It was slightly too sweet but you can ask for less sugar. The boba tasted fresh and chewy. Next time I will definitely try the grapefruite w/ aloe. Service was friendly and fast so you can't go wrong with visiting Tbaar when you are in the Park Slope area. Also they have a punch card so your 11th drink is free.

TBaar was the first bubble tea I'd ever tried when I was a kid, so it always holds a soft spot in my heart. When a new location opened in walking distance of my new apartment, I knew I had to stop in. The atmosphere is really new and very modern. It's inviting and bright. The workers are all kind and patient while I slowly decided which drink to get. They recommended their popular fruit tea, which I promptly ordered. The fruit tea is refreshing and delicious. The flavors go really well with the jelly pieces at the bottom. It's the perfect textural combination of soft, chewy, and smooth. You can choose the amount of ice and sugar which is customizable and awesome. The size is super large and really worth the price. My dining partner got the dragon fruit drink which is definitely less sweet overall and has more of a thicker texture. So happy there's a TBaar now in my neighborhood!

I had no idea this was here till I walked by it last weekend! I was very excited and had to order some bubble tea.. They had a great selection of drinks. I decided to try something I don't usually get and got the #1 popular item on the menu, grape fruit tea with aloe. It was definitely on the sweeter side with nice chewy bits of aloe and a nice kick of pomegranate pulp. I can't say I would get it again because it is not really my thing but definitely worth trying.

One thing I liked about these tablets is that it did have some recommended suggestions of what the best milk and sugar level would be for each drink. I found this drink was a little boring and wish I had ordered a topping like cheese foam in addition to it, but was served in a cute plastic mason jar looking cup. My friend got the Creamy Real Taro Paste Bobo with organic oat milk, milk tea and light ice. I had also selected the option to sample the Taro, but sadly was not offered any. This drink was much more exciting and I really enjoyed the unique flavors and texture when I got to try several sips of it. Again, one thing that really stood out was the variety of selections one could make when customizing their drink. This place looks like it has rotating/seasonal options and an interesting food menu as well and so I do plan on returning!

I ordered a Grilled Pork Banh Mi with medium spicy, and sat in the AC'd store while they prepared my food. Got my hot bag, then went on my way towards Prospect Park. Due to unforeseen events, I ate my Banh Mi about 2 hours later, while it was still warm enough, this banh mi was still absolutely delicious. The sandwich has a slight kick (pretty strong for medium), but it was definitely not overwhelming. Pickled veggies are fresh, crispy, and not overpowering either. The meat was delicious!!! Grilled perfectly, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Bun is also delicious. I don't know what to say, didn't try their pho or boba, but their banh mi is worth a visit, and a return visit. I was super happy that this place didn't opt for the usual mayo bland dressing that most Viet places use, but they kept their sandwich juicy yet not heavy. Great food.

I ordered the Combo which was one Garden and one Summer (with Shrimp). In no time it was ready. I just had Garden Rolls last week at a neighboring competitor (a new spot) which turned out to be disappointing (read my review). Today's rolls were what they're supposed to be: the rice paper was thin and tender to the bite. The Garden Roll included cucumbers and mint (shredded carrots absent. Or maybe it's supposed to be without?) and the Summer roll lined up the shrimp which was visible through the rice paper. Both were delicious. Important key to these rolls is the peanut dipping sauce. Theirs was thick enough but with the ability to dip those yummy rolls with every bite. Satisfied customer and will return.

The grass jelly was very minimal for paucity - total dismay. The entire drink was embedded with lime, lime pulp and fresh pieces of peach fruit. I wanted the supporting cast to be grass jelly and the lead to be Jasmine green tea, but this lime and heavy lime pulp were aggravating annoyance that stole the spotlight. I decribe the amount of herbal jelly topping to be scant, conveying insufficiency or minimalism. There were absolutely nothing alleged special of this peach sauce. I have chosen my default 30% sugar which highly counteracted with the lime. The lime and lime pulp were very strong. My drink tasted intensely sour, albeit refreshing. A lime drink is not my desideratum. Lime is not my interest. The woman cashier/ server Mattie was attentive, friendly welcoming who served with warm hospitality and patience for customer service. She permitted me to take a lot of photos for this review without any complaints as I could not resist this very cute adorable Shiba theme. If I could suggest to the owner for change of this drink ingredients either to remove of this lime and lime pulp, or significantly decreased the amount inputted. If I could, I could. For $0.75 as a paid topping it is my prerogative to have one quarter quantity of the drink size. The full ice melted entirely, but my drink sustained its coolness and was still chilled during my long-haul subway ride home. Disappointedly, there are no takeout drink menus.
