I really wanted to like this spot - the staff was very nice, the interior is cute and welcoming, and they offer both free milk bone treats for pets and discounts for students. Unfortunately my family and I did not really like any of the drinks we got.

I enjoy bubble tea and saw Chihiro near my hotel. I ordered the special tea a watermelon flavor. I opted for no cheese foam. I added lychee jelly and boba to the drink. I also get mine less sweet. The drink was tasty and had plenty of boba and lychee jelly. I hate when places skimp on the boba. Overall, I will go back to Chihiro in the future. It is a small place so if you come at a peak time you will need to wait for your tea. Just a heads up for everyone.

I was walking by and noticed yet another new boba shop popped up on Willoughby. The few blocks around the Metrotech area have in recent years become inundated with new bubble tea places. Chihiro Tea sets itself apart by being a pet-friendly business, with several house signatures I haven't seen elsewhere including their Strawberry Phobia and Chijito. The shop space is small but with tall ceilings so it does not feel cramped at all. There are two self-order kiosks as well as someone at the counter to help. The staff members were super friendly and the owner even has pictures of his cat as decor! I ordered the SOFT ($9) and the Passion Impact ($8.75), both of which were fruit-based. Like Yifang, Chihiro uses fresh fruit in their tea that they smash with a pestle before adding in tea, so you get a fruit forward flavor (and sometimes pulp) in every sip. The only con though, is that sometimes the drinks have a bitter taste at the end because the rind also gets smashed. Overall, Chihiro is a great option nearby if you love fruity flavors in your tea. I also love that they use crystal jelly instead of regular tapioca pearls, as I feel they pair with fruit drinks better and provide a better textural contrast.

Did some work here today. Playlist is awesome, vibe is chill, drink was delicious. Would do it again.

THE CUTEST BOBA SHOP. I love that it's a shiba/cat theme. Everyone is also super nice there. The drinks were okay! The tea was flavorful and the brown sugar was pretty normal, nothing special. They offer 10% Discount for students!

It feels very enjoyable and cozy to sit in it and have a drink. This drink left me feeling very refreshing and fruity, very fresh.

Taro Sago Fresh Milk and Mango Pomelo Sago

Chihiro is one of our favorite bubble tea places. We've tried several different drinks from them but our favorites are the Mango Pomelo Sago (add crystal bubbles) and the Taro Sago fresh milk. The taro drink is made with fresh taro (not powder) and the mango drink is made all with fresh fruit. We unfortunately don't live near this location but have multiple times been willing to drive 1 hour round trip just to get a bubble tea! #chihirotea @chihirotea_

So refreshing on a hot summer day!

Bubble tea is incredibly fresh and made with all real teas and fruit. This is my 4th time here and I'm obsessed with the regular milk teas as well as the fruit teas in flavors of peach, grapefruit, strawberry, and passionfruit. It's the best bubble tea shop in downtown Brooklyn (better than Gong Cha, Vivi, I-Milky, etc). I live in the neighborhood and I've tried them all. It's not cheap but they certainly use high quality ingredients. The inside ambience is a great place to sit while it's been so hot outside. #chihirotea @chihirotea_

    Passion Impact

I was looking for a new bubble tea place in the area and was drawn by the cute Shiba Inu mascot. Service was pretty fast. The Passion Impact was very refreshing especially with how hot it's been. I also had to share some with my cat as well! If you're in the area I would definitely give Chihiro Tea a visit! #chihirotea @chihirotea_

We got the unforgivable & matcha milk. It's pet friendly so we were able to bring in our dogs while we waited. #chihirotea @chihirotea

    Oolong Tea

With all the options for boba in downtown Brooklyn Chihiro tea is a great option for a sweet dessert like treat. Their branding is cute too. I had their taro before, they use taro and not the powdered type. #chihirotea @chihirotea_

One of the best bubble tea spots in the area! I stumbled upon this spot during their soft opening and have been back multiple times since then! Their tea is fresh and I love how soft and chewy their boba is, definitely recommend stopping by! @chihirotea #chihirotea

Great slushie options, quality milk tea, and some lactose free options. There's a lot of bubble tea spots in the neighborhood, and this isn't one to ignore! #chihirotea @chihirotea_

There is bar seating as well as a variety of tables and chairs, making this place ideal for a meet up. I ordered the iced Organic Matcha Milky Strawberry with almond milk, and regular sugar. One thing I liked about these tablets is that it did have some recommended suggestions of what the best milk and sugar level would be for each drink. I found this drink was a little boring and wish I had ordered a topping like cheese foam in addition to it, but was served in a cute plastic mason jar looking cup. My friend got the Creamy Real Taro Paste Bobo with organic oat milk, milk tea and light ice. I had also selected the option to sample the Taro, but sadly was not offered any. This drink was much more exciting and I really enjoyed the unique flavors and texture when I got to try several sips of it. Again, one thing that really stood out was the variety of selections one could make when customizing their drink. This place looks like it has rotating/seasonal options and an interesting food menu as well and so I do plan on returning!

I ordered a Grilled Pork Banh Mi with medium spicy, and sat in the AC'd store while they prepared my food. Got my hot bag, then went on my way towards Prospect Park. Due to unforeseen events, I ate my Banh Mi about 2 hours later, while it was still warm enough, this banh mi was still absolutely delicious. The sandwich has a slight kick (pretty strong for medium), but it was definitely not overwhelming. Pickled veggies are fresh, crispy, and not overpowering either. The meat was delicious!!! Grilled perfectly, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Bun is also delicious. I don't know what to say, didn't try their pho or boba, but their banh mi is worth a visit, and a return visit. I was super happy that this place didn't opt for the usual mayo bland dressing that most Viet places use, but they kept their sandwich juicy yet not heavy. Great food.

I've been to the three locations, assuming they're the same owners. It was clean and cool (A/C) when I arrived. I placed my order at the counter and picked it up when ready. They'll call your number. I ordered the Combo which was one Garden and one Summer (with Shrimp). In no time it was ready. I just had Garden Rolls last week at a neighboring competitor (a new spot) which turned out to be disappointing (read my review). Today's rolls were what they're supposed to be: the rice paper was thin and tender to the bite. The Garden Roll included cucumbers and mint (shredded carrots absent. Or maybe it's supposed to be without?) and the Summer roll lined up the shrimp which was visible through the rice paper. Both were delicious. Important key to these rolls is the peanut dipping sauce. Theirs was thick enough but with the ability to dip those yummy rolls with every bite. Satisfied customer and will return.

Husband tried the Spicy Sichuan Cold Noodle but he didn't find it to be spicy enough. Toddler enjoyed the Sesame Noodle. I also liked the flavor of the pan fried beef dumplings with the dipping sauce, but the wrappers definitely wasn't crispy for a take out order by the time we got home, probably best eaten fresh near the store. Would pass on the drinks. My lychee pop boba tea was ok but my husband's Thai iced tea had an artificial aftertaste. Would come back for the dumplings and noodles again.

Everything is already packaged in takeout containers, so best to enjoy at home. I ordered the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup ($13.75) while the boyfriend got the Sweet Pork Bing ($10.25). We also each got our own Black Sugar Milk Tea ($5 each). The drink was standard, but pretty tiny. As for the food, the bing was pretty solid but messy to eat as it's held together with a thin scallion pancake with egg. This is a classic Taiwanese item to get for sure. I also enjoyed the beef noodle soup, but honestly pretty standard as well. While I'm glad I got to try this spot out, I don't think it stood out enough to me to come back. Plus, the price point is on the higher end being in Cobble Hill too.
