Red Bean Paste Wheel Cake in store
    Michelle S.

I was so excited to discover Once More NY! The shop itself is unassuming -- small with limited seating and a worker up front taking orders. Really could never tell that it served Taiwanese wheelcake without previous Yelp reviews or store photos. It's rare to find Taiwanese wheelcakes in Flushing, let alone in Manhattan! The style of their wheelcakes is a little different from the traditional ones I grew up with, but the filling completely won me over. They offer a variety from classic red bean, matcha green bean, boba, coconut taro, salted egg, etc. Each bite brought back the familiar, nostalgic flavors I've missed so much. The balance of sweetness and chunky texture of the red bean was spot on. #teamchunkyredbean Come by and support if you're craving a sweet treat!

This is the best Bubble Tea place I have patronize. They offer the Taiwanese wheel cake which to me resembles a donut but better and improved! They have a large varity of Bubble Teas you can find on the Seamless menu. Located in the heart of Chinatown of Chatham Square. This will be a great pit stop in the heat of the summer while shopping in chinatown. Check it out!

Had the tarp wheel cake and contrary to popular opinion, the filling was too sweet for me and the cake part lacks texture. Lackluster

I visited Once More on a rainy Saturday after a work meeting. The store is a little small but the interrupt is cute. The Wheel Cakes are made to order, soft and fluffy, tasty, and the filings are generous. It took me a while to pick out which flavors I wanted; the staff at Once More are so patient and helpful. The staff were also thoughtful as well as they asked me if it was still raining and put my cakes in a container that would withstand the rain.

Good wheelcakes - light, pancake-like batter baked with sweet or savory filling. Not too sweet! Good vibes - The store manager is always there and very kind. It's a nice cozy spot to chill with friends.

I got the taro coconut, seaweed shrimp, walnut coffee, and hot pepper chicken. They have lots of filling and it is best if you eat them hot. My favorite one is seaweed shrimp. I also like taro coconut. For the walnut coffee cake, I wish the coffee taste is stronger and the filling could be creamier for, but it has so much walnut to a point that I felt full after taking a few bites so it is probably very nutritious. The owner is super friendly. Make sure to call ahead to order because they make them fresh so it may take awhile if they have other customers. I will come back to try some other flavors.

Thank you for the wonderful cheese wheel cake! It was so good! We will be back again to sample the other flavors and fillings.

Great service. Decent products but I fear the amount of foot traffic here will not be great. I hope they do well but not sure if it can

The drinks were very good and they have seating and restrooms for guests. Definitely recommend this place. I got take out from Super Taste and brought it to Once More.

Classic boba with black and crystal boba.

Kind staff. Clean Interior. Fantastic boba. Great boba, ice, and tea ratios. Nothing more to ask for.

Recommended wheel cakes and drinks (don't like too sweet, don't worry) 1Black sugar pearl, take a bite and it will burst!!! It's not very sweet and greasy, but it's just right, which is very suitable for afternoon dessert~ 2Coconut milk taro puree, the taste is still very layered! It has the fragrance of coconut milk, and there is a lot of taro puree sandwiched in it, which is suitable for autumn and winter! 3 Jasmine ice milk, this taste of jasmine seems to be back to when I was a child. It is worthy of the signature. There is also cold bubu in it, and it is not very sweet. It is not burdensome to drink~ Ps. In general, it is relatively cost-effective, and the in-store environment is also very tidy. The store owner can communicate in Mandarin, which is very thoughtful. After dinner in Chinatown, you can take it home. It's another happy day~

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
