Cute little shop located in China Town! Inside is cute, tables to sit at and wait. Order at a kiosk. Got the strawberry matcha (it was okay, matcha could be better), passion fruit smoothie (this was good), and the strawberry yogurt drink (this was sooooo good I miss it T-T, should've gotten it in a large). We ordered on the kiosk. Watermelon slushy and a mango yogurt drink. I don't usually order yogurt type drinks but this was pretty good. Ordered it 50% sweet but it was still plenty sweet.. in a good way. L loves watermelon slushies so he always gets one if it's on the menu. Great flavor. Really tasted like watermelon... We also tried a custard wheel cake. Never had one before. It was warm, he just made it. The custard was nice, had a good consistency.. not too sweet. We ended up ordering 3 more cakes to eat later at home..coconut taro, boba, and walnut coffee.. The custard was my favorite, then coconut taro, walnut and then boba. I visited Once More on a rainy Saturday after a work meeting. The store is a little small but the interrupt is cute. The Wheel Cakes are made to order, soft and fluffy, tasty, and the filings are generous. It took me a while to pick out which flavors I wanted; the staff at Once More are so patient and helpful. I got the taro coconut, seaweed shrimp, walnut coffee, and hot pepper chicken. They have lots of filling and it is best if you eat them hot. My favorite one is seaweed shrimp. I also like taro coconut. For the walnut coffee cake, I wish the coffee taste is stronger and the filling could be creamier for, but it has so much walnut to a point that I felt full after taking a few bites so it is probably very nutritious. The owner is super friendly. Make sure to call ahead to order because they make them fresh so it may take awhile if they have other customers. I will come back to try some other flavors. read more
