Conveniently located next to target, this location does get pretty decent customers throughout the year. I don't usually get my bubble tea fix from gong cha but there were a few occasions over the summer and recently that I did. I certainly did not know that they offer an XL size cup but I got that for giggles and shared it with the fam. Drinks are pretty decent and the store itself is nice and clean. If you do want bubble tea and in the area, gong cha will do the trick!

This place is a tea lover's paradise! They have so many varieties to choose from, and I always get mine without bubbles since they contain gelatin. The mango and peach teas are my absolute favorites--so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly refreshing every time! They make your drink just the way you want it, the staff is super friendly, and the service is impressively fast. Love coming here!

This gongcha has a great assortment of drinks and also is one of the few locations located in Brooklyn. When buying boba, I always tend to get less sugar (30%) but I feel like some shops never listen and my drink ends up being too sweet. At this gongcha, I always feel like my drink's sweetness level is perfect! The only complaint I have is that I told them less ice in my drink the other day, and they literally gave me close to no ice. My drink was not very cold at all. A tip is that gongcha actually has a rewards program where if you spend up to a certain amount, you get $5 credit! I believe you can also get a free drink on your birthday if you sign up as well. At checkout, you'd just enter your number. Overall, this gongcha has super great drinks. Their boba consistency is also quite good! A medium pearl milk tea after tax is $5.44. I would definitely come back to this location to get my boba fix in the future!

The toppings were fresh and crunchy(white pearls). The bubbles were perfectly chewy and the drinks were tasty. Staffs were friendly but parking is tight.

Love love love that there's a Gong Cha in this neighborhood! And right next to Target + Marshalls?? Can't get any better than that. I came by on Friday and got the Taro drink which was delicious as always. Also, the guy who was making my drink noticed that the cover of my drink didn't exactly seal properly, so he made sure to reseal it before giving it to me. I appreciated that attention to detail and will definitely be back, especially since I signed up for the rewards program!

Craving for some boba and didn't want to go outside? DoorDash to the rescue. Ordered the popular milk tea boba and black tea boba with milk foam with 30% sugar. The milk tea boba was sweet enough for me but the black tea may have been better with 50% sugar because the strong black tea sorta masks up the sweetness. Anyway my craving was satisfied. I like the milk foam, just love the subtle saltiness from it.

I consider myself a competent chef, and have been whipping up some competent meals in my quarantine kitchen. But in my limited boba making experience, these experiments often go awry, with the outside of each boba ball dissolving before the inside of each can cook through. So I've long left it to the experts. With no boba cafes open within walking distance of my Brooklyn apartment, I turned to the delivery platforms, which I've been using sparingly. Gong Cha in Midwood would deliver two large bobas to me for a whopping $23--when you add on all the fees it really adds up-- but the joy these drinks would bring me was worth it, so I bit the bullet. The great thing about this boba chain is that you can customize the sweetness and amount of ice you can have in your drink, and they have a nice variety of toppings you can add to aside from boba. These can include anything from aloe vera to cheese foam to egg pudding. I go with less ice so I can have more drink, boba everytime, and 70% sweetness. Both brown sugar and taro milk teas tasted fresh and were an absolute delight. Though I'd make purchasing $23 teas a rare indulgence, it's nice to have the option of having boba delivered to my door. Is it sad to say this was the highlight of my week? A sign of the times.

First bubble tea in this Kings Highway neighborhood. It's your typical bubble tea prices ~$5 average price. Small store front, no seating, stand up counter by the window. Solid choice for tea. It's also a short walk from the train station. Grand opening today is BOGO. My go to order is brown sugar black milk tea.

Hands down, my favorite bubble tea place by far! The tea has a much more intense flavor and they do not skimp on the toppings. Will be back soon!

Had to stop in to grab an Oreo milk tea after fellow yelper Gillian A. recommended one in her review. It's not on the actual menu at this location but the counterperson knew exactly what I was referencing and walked me through my order. I've totally been missing out. It's so good! I'll be back again and plan to ask for extra Oreo crumbs! Lol

Finally, there's bubble tea in the neighborhood!! For their grand opening, they offered BOGO for their top 10 drinks. I got the strawberry milk tea with strawberry boba (as recommended by the friendly cashier), classic pearl milk tea for free (BOGO deal), and their milk green tea with pudding. The workers were extremely patient despite the amount of people waiting and even took their time to ask specifically for percentage of sugar and ice. My drinks were delicious!! (not too sweet and not watered down unlike other places). Will definitely come back and recommend this to friends and family to try!

They have a nice selection of teas. Teas are around $7-8 depending on the size and what you want. I prefer this over Starbucks!

It's not as good as the 8th ave location. The boba is hard and chewy and still too sweet at 50% sugar level.

Online, it says if you are ordering a bubble teas and would like a milk alternative, to go to the Tea Latte section, where you can swap whole milk for oat milk. So far, I've had 3 bubble teas from here and I would order from here again. *Every tea I ordered was a large, with 30% sweetness (what I'd recommend!!), tapioca pearls, no ice and with oat milk* The first I had was a Matcha Latte. This was sooo good, definitely my favorite. Already mixed well and gave me a great pep in my step that morning. Chewy boba was the perfect touch. The second I had was a Black Tea Latte with milk foam. This was probably my second favorite, and had a great black tea taste that wasn't too overwhelming. The milk foam also seemed to expand (?) over time, so that was nice to mix in and enjoy. Finally, I had the Earl Grey Tea Latte with milk foam. The tea flavor was quite bitter in this one and I wish I had gotten no milk foam, as it made no difference, and perhaps 50% sweetness. Overall a great menu with lots of options to customize your drink to be perfect for you. Thanks Gong Cha!!

I was in need of a smoothie and this place popped up in the search right near the 2/5 Flatbush Avenue trainstation. The place is not small but definitely not for sitting and enjoying your options as there is no seating at all. There are the public chairs on Hillel place under the colorful umbrella installation in front but I would imagine it wouldn't be as popular in the winter. So I would categorize this as a place for students and workers to grab something quick. Overall they have many items on their menu in different categories. Poke, fried chicken bites and açaí bowls for eating. They have bubble tea, juices and smoothies. It is reflected on the many menus they have inside. However, it gets confusing due to the amount of menus plus all the revisions they make (tape covering no longer available items , and post its /marker to add new things to menu posters/screens).. not the worst but something to keep in mind. I ordered a medium Passion Jupiter smoothie (passionfruit and mango) & added yogurt as a base and flax seed. Without the yogurt it would be iced base. It was around 9 dollars which is fine because I have paid more for worse smoothies. They gave me the overflow of the smoothie that couldn't fit in my medium cup which was nice of them. Overall the smoothie was well mixed and I was happy because I don't usually get passionfruit as a smoothies. I would go back here for smoothies for sure and maybe to try the açaí bowls.
