I pretty much love every Kung Fu Tea, and I usually stick with my staples at a newly visited location, regular milk tea with boba 30% sugar. Today was no different. The cashier said the internet wasn't working so it was cash only and she wouldnt honor the 10 free bubble/bobas from my app. Most locations would honor it since it was their issue, not here. If you want to pay with a card, same response of no internet. Go figure. I got my drink quickly from the second employee. For some reason, my drink was super pale, more milk than tea and lacking in its regular rich black tea base. On a positive note, the boba were well-cooked and flavored. Note: I am aware of how the app works, I've had it since the beta version. The excuse of the internet not working can only last but for so long. Step it up guys!

Kung Fu Black Milk Tea w/ less bubbles. Yum.

I actually enjoy this location! Very good bubble tea! I ordered the OG kung fu bubble tea with less bubbles and forgot to tell them my sweetness level and it STILL came out perfect! It wasn't overly sweet nor bitter. A nicely done fragrant tea as well, as that's very important to me as I'm a tea lover in all its forms. If you don't love fragrant, some would say "perfume-y" teas, I wouldn't suggest this place. I love it though. Very nice bubble teas. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this location.

I really like this place. However, I have a few stipulations. While the interior is really nice and the staff are really welcoming they get my order wrong about 80% of the time I go there so it's not always a good experience. I always say the same thing, but they always get it wrong. I used to think it was me, but then I even started reading off the menu and I still got the wrong order. But every time I went there I was always in a rush, so I just took what I could get and left. It's unfortunate because it's kind of pricey, and to always get the wrong order isn't fun but at least it tastes good. Never what I'm expecting but at least it taste good.

Good option if you're craving bubble tea. We bought three drinks: a Lychee Punch with Nata Jelly, Passionfruit Green Tea with Nata Jelly, and Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Tapioca. The drinks were refreshing. I got my drink with 70% sugar and less ice which was a perfect combination because the nata jelly already added a bit of sweetness to the drink. The minion-themed cups were a nice touch!

Happy about this boba tea joint located in the mall. Bubble tea shops are located everywhere and it's about time king's plaza mall has their own! The cashier who took my order seems friendly (I go to other kung fu teas and they are not always the nicest). I just hope they get enough business to sustain themselves because businesses now a days aren't doing the best and I would hate that for this location. As for their product, I say it was pretty good. I am not a fan of hard bubbles that have harden due to time. It tasted chewy and I was content with that. The tea was strong enough but, not to have me stay up all night. I don't like bitter teas so this was great for me. Try the other toppings. My other fav is the nata jelly Download the app for more perks.

Lychee punch not shaken and no ice was added, all the ingredients were dumped in like an experiment gone wrong

We were waiting for visiting hours at the hospital down the road and are so grateful Yelp led us to this coffee shop. Although indoor seating wasn't currently available, they moved a table and chairs outside for us so we could relax and enjoy our excellent mocha. I also appreciated that when we received our drink, the barista asked us to let him know how it was and if any adjustments were needed. Rest assured, it was perfect. After reading other reviews, I purchased a chocolate babka (my first) for the road and our whole family enjoyed it later that evening. So rich and decadent that I was happy to share. After two week-long visits to NYC and its boroughs, this was one of our favorite experiences because it was filled with kindness. The majority of our customer experiences were so rushed (next!) and transactional, that it was almost an other worldly experience to have someone take their time, care about their product and your experience, and just take a breather from city life. When in Brooklyn, we'll be back.

I ordered the Journey to Baku salad, the Turkish bread, and the Guru Khingal. The salad needed a pinch of salt, but there was a shaker on the table and with that addition, it was a decent refreshing appetizer. It's sort of a spread so I would recommend ordering some bread to eat with it. The bread came out steaming hot and smelling amazing. It was soft and fluffy on the inside and delicious. I took the extra home and ate it all immediately when I got there. Delicious bread. The Guru Khingal is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten in New York City. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, as I have never eaten this type of food before. The tender, handcut pasta seems to be layered with flavorful lamb fat like the most decadent possible buttered noodles and the ground lamb topping is rich and perfectly seasoned. The yogurt sauce gives the dish balance. It's a fairly large portion that could easily be shared between two. I highly recommend this spot, the glowing reviews are not exaggerating at all. I often like to try new and unusual restaurants, and sometimes I enjoy them mostly for the novelty. That was not the case at Village Cafe. My meal here was delicious and I am eager to return, even with the 75 minute commute from north Brooklyn.

I felt like I was inside someone's home and felt welcomed and comfortable. Not loud and well lit. Service (5/5): We came at an off hour during the weekend around 1:30pm there was still around 6 parties dining in. The staff provided good recommendations and good service. When asked for water without any lemon slices, they provided bottled water at no extra cost! Food: (4/5) - rated New York Times top 100 Best Restaurants in New York City in 2025 Every dish came with a small cup of sour cream / Tzatziki based sauce that went with every dish. This was a must and this was mastered very well. Kutaby with chicken and lamb (4/5) - we ordered one each but the lamb was far superior than the chicken. Guru Hingal (4/5) - served in a warmed bowl with a lid in a bed of soft pasta and minced lamb. The pasta reminded me of chow fun (Chinese rice flat noodles) and then some seasoned minced lamb. While overall there were flavors in there, it was still lacked flavors and required to be drowned in the Tzatziki sauces or perhaps a order of table hot sauce. Finally we got the Lamb Lulya Kebab (5/5): this was by far the best dish of the meal! The meat was so wonderfully seasoned throughout, juicy, and complemented well with the rice, onions, and tomato based dip. The wraps themselves were way too small to enjoy using hands so we definitely reconstructed on our plates and attempts with our hands.
