I pretty much love every Kung Fu Tea, and I usually stick with my staples at a newly visited location, regular milk tea with boba 30% sugar. Today was no different. The cashier said the internet wasn't working so it was cash only and she wouldnt honor the 10 free bubble/bobas from my app. Most locations would honor it since it was their issue, not here. If you want to pay with a card, same response of no internet. Go figure. I got my drink quickly from the second employee. For some reason, my drink was super pale, more milk than tea and lacking in its regular rich black tea base. On a positive note, the boba were well-cooked and flavored. Note: I am aware of how the app works, I've had it since the beta version. The excuse of the internet not working can only last but for so long. Step it up guys!

I actually enjoy this location! Very good bubble tea! I ordered the OG kung fu bubble tea with less bubbles and forgot to tell them my sweetness level and it STILL came out perfect! It wasn't overly sweet nor bitter. A nicely done fragrant tea as well, as that's very important to me as I'm a tea lover in all its forms. If you don't love fragrant, some would say "perfume-y" teas, I wouldn't suggest this place. I love it though. Very nice bubble teas. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this location.

I really like this place. However, I have a few stipulations. While the interior is really nice and the staff are really welcoming they get my order wrong about 80% of the time I go there so it's not always a good experience. I always say the same thing, but they always get it wrong. I used to think it was me, but then I even started reading off the menu and I still got the wrong order. But every time I went there I was always in a rush, so I just took what I could get and left. It's unfortunate because it's kind of pricey, and to always get the wrong order isn't fun but at least it tastes good. Never what I'm expecting but at least it taste good.

Good option if you're craving bubble tea. We bought three drinks: a Lychee Punch with Nata Jelly, Passionfruit Green Tea with Nata Jelly, and Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Tapioca. The drinks were refreshing. I got my drink with 70% sugar and less ice which was a perfect combination because the nata jelly already added a bit of sweetness to the drink. The minion-themed cups were a nice touch!

Happy about this boba tea joint located in the mall. Bubble tea shops are located everywhere and it's about time king's plaza mall has their own! The cashier who took my order seems friendly (I go to other kung fu teas and they are not always the nicest). I just hope they get enough business to sustain themselves because businesses now a days aren't doing the best and I would hate that for this location. As for their product, I say it was pretty good. I am not a fan of hard bubbles that have harden due to time. It tasted chewy and I was content with that. The tea was strong enough but, not to have me stay up all night. I don't like bitter teas so this was great for me. Try the other toppings. My other fav is the nata jelly Download the app for more perks.

Lychee punch not shaken and no ice was added, all the ingredients were dumped in like an experiment gone wrong

My go to is the dirty brown sugar milk bubble tea with tapioca. I hope the neighborhood welcomes them and they stick around! Drinks are put in a carton container to keep upright and delivered in a sealed bag with sealed lids you can puncture with the pointy ends of the boba straws they provide. Online, it says if you are ordering a bubble teas and would like a milk alternative, to go to the Tea Latte section, where you can swap whole milk for oat milk. So far, I've had 3 bubble teas from here and I would order from here again. *Every tea I ordered was a large, with 30% sweetness (what I'd recommend!!), tapioca pearls, no ice and with oat milk* The first I had was a Matcha Latte. This was sooo good, definitely my favorite. Already mixed well and gave me a great pep in my step that morning. Chewy boba was the perfect touch. The second I had was a Black Tea Latte with milk foam. This was probably my second favorite, and had a great black tea taste that wasn't too overwhelming. The milk foam also seemed to expand (?) over time, so that was nice to mix in and enjoy. Finally, I had the Earl Grey Tea Latte with milk foam. The tea flavor was quite bitter in this one and I wish I had gotten no milk foam, as it made no difference, and perhaps 50% sweetness. Overall a great menu with lots of options to customize your drink to be perfect for you. Thanks Gong Cha!!

I was in need of a smoothie and this place popped up in the search right near the 2/5 Flatbush Avenue trainstation. The place is not small but definitely not for sitting and enjoying your options as there is no seating at all. There are the public chairs on Hillel place under the colorful umbrella installation in front but I would imagine it wouldn't be as popular in the winter. So I would categorize this as a place for students and workers to grab something quick. Overall they have many items on their menu in different categories. Poke, fried chicken bites and açaí bowls for eating. They have bubble tea, juices and smoothies. It is reflected on the many menus they have inside. However, it gets confusing due to the amount of menus plus all the revisions they make (tape covering no longer available items , and post its /marker to add new things to menu posters/screens).. not the worst but something to keep in mind. I ordered a medium Passion Jupiter smoothie (passionfruit and mango) & added yogurt as a base and flax seed. Without the yogurt it would be iced base. It was around 9 dollars which is fine because I have paid more for worse smoothies. They gave me the overflow of the smoothie that couldn't fit in my medium cup which was nice of them. Overall the smoothie was well mixed and I was happy because I don't usually get passionfruit as a smoothies. I would go back here for smoothies for sure and maybe to try the açaí bowls.

They barely put any simple syrup, and it never tastes or looks the way it should. The kids working there definitely don't want to be there. Not sure who to bring this issue up with, I hope someone can show them again how each drink is made. I even asked cor 120% sugar lol and when I tasted it it had 0%. I did 120% because last time I did 100% and it tasted like 50%. I thought hmm maybe if I do 120% it would taste like 100%. Anyways I'm just venting because now I'm drinking coffee at 12am instead of drinking my mango green tea. I am going to return the drinks tomorrow, I think I've had enough wasting my money on Kung fu tea. There's no one there "managing", I'll just go down the block to vivi's. Will probably avoid this place in the future.

I appreciate that when I ask for less sugar the drink actually tastes less sweet. I've been to other locations where I ask for less sugar but the drink still tastes as if they added a ton of sugar. I often like to order via the KFT app as you can accumulate points for free drinks, toppings, or other items! You also can skip the line and there's no minimum for a credit card transaction whereas I believe in store you have to spend a minimum amount. My drinks are always made fresh and it's ready soon after I put in the order. Overall great experience with this chain location and will be back!
