I've been a fan of the Vivi bubble tea franchise for well over five years now. I was a regular at their Chinatown location which is quite tiny with few bar stools to offer as seating. This location is much bigger and has ample space to sit down and hang. They've got cute wall decor, and the space is very bright. With the current pandemic going on right now, they've scrapped the tables and their chairs rest on the booths. A few spaces remain free which is nice for when you need to wait for your order to be made up, and would like to sit. They've repurposed their tables to act as a distancing barrier in front of their front counter. Which in my opinion is a great method. They've also got plastic drapes from the ceiling to reduce the spread of germs. As of September 2020, this business is currently offering takeout only. No dine-in or delivery is available. New hours are 12pm to 7:30 pm. Masks required and floors are marked to indicate 6 feet spacing for customers convenience. I frequent this establishment once, if not twice, a week since quarantine has lifted. They've never gotten my order wrong, and their kitchen has been open so feel free to order some popcorn chicken like I have. I particularly like the garlic flavor, although salt and pepper isn't bad either. They always offer me a plastic bag, as I usually order more than one drink. I order the large sizes and my cup has always been filled to the very top, so much so that there's some over spill when I stab my straw in it. Foot traffic has been visibly slower than before, which is unusual since Vivi cafes are usually teeming with teenagers and adults alike. Their indoor dining service has not returned yet. The pandemic has been hard for restaurants especially for Asian-owned businesses but I hope they continue to thrive because I love their bubble tea and snacks. Their quality has been steadfast in all the years I've bought from them, this location is of no exception. And since I've become a weekly visitor, there has been no off days thus far. Occasionally, close to closing, they will run out of some items but it's no bee in my bonnet. There is metered parking for my fellow drivers. The side streets are non-metered, just watch out for the ASP notices to avoid a ticket. I usually go in the afternoon and just take a metered spot because it's easier. Overall, I'm a fan of Vivi's and this location in particular. They're nice and friendly, and my wait time has never gone over 10 minutes for both drink and snack orders. I highly recommend stopping by if you're a fan of bubble tea or slush drinks! Taro slush is my favorite, perfect for a hot summers day.

I used to come here all the time ever since I was in middle school. Vivis sells solid bubble tea spot to spend time with your friends or just to relax. Their popcorn chicken is also pretty yummy. Cant beat the price :)

I love Bubble Tea and I like getting it from this place. It is refreshing and I kinda like chewing the pearls. It is my first time to this location. I usually go to the one in Chinatown. I noticed that this store is bigger and clean. The Staff are very friendly.

So if you drink a little too much Vivi As in, if you drink as much as Me-me You'll say within a minute "Where's the bathroom", then be in it As you desperately expel your pee-pee. This Vivi rubbed me the wrong way. They had an attitude and didn't like me very much. They lied to me and told me that the fruit drinks have no tea in them when I've been adjusting the type of tea in them at all the other locations regularly. They wouldn't make me a brown sugar milk tea because it's not on the menu. Really doe. The girl made no qualms about letting me know that she didn't like me. The peach tea they gave me was okay. But not one of my favorite locations. No bathroom which is kind of annoying. Thanks a lot New York City. Moving swiftly on. Or slowly really due to traffique.

Got a 3Q milk tea today and found a BUG in the drink. At first I thought it's plastic and spit it out, and then realized it's a BUG. SO DISGUSTING, I CAN STILL FEEL THE TEXTURE OF IT ON MY TONGUE.

This is a cute place to grab and go. They only did takeout at the time I was there, still no sit in yet. I got the red bean matcha drink which I was hoping it would like looked like the one they were advertising- red beans on top of the drink. Even though it didn't look the same as advertised, it tasted delicious.

Biggest Vivi bubble tea spot i ever step into. Compare to other locations, this really is a huge area for a bubble tea place. Staff are very friendly and chill. When I say friendly, i really do MEAN friendly. A lot of bubble tea spot now days have so much staff with attitudes toward their customers. Interior ? So Pink and super spacious, bring ya girlfriend there and i bet they marry you under this cute pink spot. Cleanness? Table and the sofa look like they get polish everyday. Overall, a really cute and nice area to have a drink in the hot weather, and enjoy some snack. ( i highly recommend the salt & pepper popcorn chicken, it can never go wrong.) OK, peaceeeeee.

I've usually had no problem here but when I ordered the Passion Fruit QQ, I only received the drink with tapioca and no aloe or the white jelly? It's missing what the image portrays. And I ordered 50% sugar but it tasted like 150% sugar :(

It's great. In other locations , the staff is attentive and friendly fast and operational. I went in there wanting to support small Asian business specially during this time of unprecedented hate. Ignoring corporations like Dunkin Donuts right around the corner, I'm a fan of the VIVI bubble tea franchise. There was one only person there when I left , no one greeted me or anything of the sort , instead the only guy that was in the counter left to the back and came back about 5 minutes later to prepare the previous customer's order while taking his slow time. 10 minutes later in and I decided to go somewhere else. I simply wanted a couple of coffee orders for me and my family waiting for me nearby the train station. All in all I like their teas but stay out of this one.

Chicken still undercooked after microwaving it for two minutes.

    1. Ordered the Jolly Pop "Milk Tea" but it tastes like watered down milk. The cereal floats to the top so it's hard to drink the milk with the cereal. It also becomes soggy quickly. After a few minute, it feels like I was eating a watered down, soggy bowl of cereal. 2. Their popcorn chicken is undercooked. My friend threw up from eating their chicken from this location before so I was already wary, but I was craving popcorn chicken so I went ahead and bought it anyway. Photos attached are AFTER I microwaved the chicken for TWO MINUTES. Still raw and pink. Thankfully I didn't throw up but I did have diarrhea, not sure if related to the chicken. I feel like I wasted $10.40.

Love the popcorn chicken, huge fan of that. Service is pretty on time, when they say 15 minutes it's actually 15

They barely put any simple syrup, and it never tastes or looks the way it should. The kids working there definitely don't want to be there. Not sure who to bring this issue up with, I hope someone can show them again how each drink is made. I even asked cor 120% sugar lol and when I tasted it it had 0%. I did 120% because last time I did 100% and it tasted like 50%. I thought hmm maybe if I do 120% it would taste like 100%. Anyways I'm just venting because now I'm drinking coffee at 12am instead of drinking my mango green tea. I am going to return the drinks tomorrow, I think I've had enough wasting my money on Kung fu tea. There's no one there "managing", I'll just go down the block to vivi's. Will probably avoid this place in the future.

I appreciate that when I ask for less sugar the drink actually tastes less sweet. I've been to other locations where I ask for less sugar but the drink still tastes as if they added a ton of sugar. I often like to order via the KFT app as you can accumulate points for free drinks, toppings, or other items! You also can skip the line and there's no minimum for a credit card transaction whereas I believe in store you have to spend a minimum amount. My drinks are always made fresh and it's ready soon after I put in the order. Overall great experience with this chain location and will be back!

Why do I travel? -To try new food. -To go somewhere I have never been before. -To see a world you cannot see from the air. -To see amazing sights. -To make new memories. Why does this matter at all to a Yelp review? Well, it does. Because thanks to my travels, restaurants and cafes like this one make me prepared and ready for what is to come. Two trips to Canada and a trip to Paris prepare you for what you could expect at a creperie that also happens to sell waffles and frozen yogurt, and a few other things, but mostly dessert. Vancouver prepped me for the waffles. Quebec and Montreal prepped me for the crepes. The US has prepped me for the frozen yogurt. All this prepped me well when I ordered a sweet crepe and got a superb symphony of sweet flavors. Fantastic and fresh banana and strawberries, a very fresh Nutella topping, and a binding agent in a crepe! Next time I will order a savory and a sweet to see how it all goes, and maybe a waffle or two for good measure. Of course this is all putting it back, back in the New York groove, which this carries so well. I will be back here, which thankfully requires little travel on my part.
