I always have a good time at industry city. For an event, a good meal, a good drink or all the retail shop just a good time for all. Its made up of 4 large buildings the only down side if the weather is not good there are no coverings between the buildings or the courtyards. Overall a great place to explore. It also has some cool photo ops if u can find them!

Industry City is an enclave of restaurants, bars, shops, and events. One event I won't miss is the annual NYC Hot Sauce Expo. For the last several years, it found its home here. I arrived late afternoon with my hot sauce partner and we scoped the area in no time, racking up purchases from various exhibitors Unfortunately, the Expo this year was reduced to just one day instead of an entire weekend. It was really crowded with, appropriately, heavy metal music playing . Tastings were either via a teeny spoon or nacho chip. All beverages were additional and food was available outside the Expo space. Many hot sauces had a show discount if you buy more than one. There were contests held on the main stage but I didn't stick around to watch. The Expo will wrap up in a few hours so if you didn't catch it today, there's always next year. Fun Expo especially for hot sauce lovers (BTW, there were many mild versions for purchase too) but everyone can certainly have a good time.

Industry City is what happens when Brooklyn decides to take a warehouse, add coffee, art, plants, food from five continents, and say, "Yeah... this works." I went in thinking I'd browse for an hour. I left three hours later slightly over-caffeinated, mildly full, and seriously considering renting a loft space to start a candle company I have zero experience running. The vibe? Industrial chic meets creative playground. You've got wide open courtyards, string lights, murals, pop-up shops, and more food options than my self-control can handle. Whether you want ramen, tacos, pastries, or just a strong cold brew to question your life choices -- it's there. It's also perfect for wandering. No real agenda needed. Just walk, explore, snack, repeat. Every corner feels like you discovered something new -- a bookstore, a design shop, a random art installation that makes you tilt your head and say, "I get it... I think." Pro tip: Go hungry. And wear comfortable shoes. You will walk. A lot. But in a good "wow this is cool" way, not a "why did I park so far" way. Great for dates, friend hangouts, solo exploring, or pretending you're in a cool indie film montage. Brooklyn absolutely nailed this one. Ps. Don't forget to Visit Bandai and the Japanese village

My family and I met up at the Industry beacauww we had family in town. We thought this would be a nice spot to come together and everyone can choose what they have a taste for. It was 11 of us and we found a table where we can all dine. Some had Thai, some had BBQ, some had pizza and some had tacos. Everyone left full and satisfied. Nice spot for a few family pics If your looking for something different Try em

The onigiri stand at the food court is godly. Never ever have i been disappointed, service is super straightforward, simple and SUPER quick, Less than a minute. Cheap menu, 4 dollar onigiri, 4 dollar soup (or was it 3.50?) I'm not sure. But industry city as a whole feels SUPER lifeless. Almost like a white man who's never been to japan or around any Japanese person made all of it? How do i explain it..

Some friends and I met to attend the Brooklyn night Market. I was shocked when I arrived and checked out all the stores and restaurants inside this venue. We walked through all three sections of the venue and checked out some of the stores. They had a cool spot with all Brooklyn merchandise. We checked out the supermarket, Sunrise mart that had some unique products and was a bit costly. The decor inside the venue was cool and holiday ready. They had alot of areas where you can sit and chill. We attended the outside festival of local vendors selling food, drinks and desserts. They had a DJ who playing some cool old school hip hop, r&b and reggae. When we first arrived it wasn't too crowded. By the time we were leaving it was jam packed. Each of ordered food from didifferent vendors and then went inside to eat. The ouside night Market festival ended until next summer. However, you can still definitely come check out this venue and chill with friends and enjoy some of the restaurants and stores they have inside.

Industry City looks very modern and industrial. There are 10 buildings that make up Industry City! Been here a couple of times to check out some dining spots like Table 87, Just Eat Burger, West Elm Outlet, Japan Village, and many more stores on the first level. The cool thing about this place is that you can cross from building to building and in between buildings, there are events going on and are furnished with different themes depending on the event. There's outdoor seating and nice themes for pictures! Good thing about this place is that there are bathrooms all around you just in case you need to go and seating everywhere. A good place to come chill and shop with friends and family.

Came here to building 5 for the Brooklyn Tequila Fest. I love that this place is evolving and expanding. Nice and chilled place to hang out during the day or night. Me and some other guest were lost trying to find this event space. There's not much direction given to find where you need to go. As I was lost, I was able to see a lot of stores and restaurants that are located in the building. The Tequila Fest was good. There was a nice crowd with plenty of vendors on sight. They had a live Dj playing a good mix of music. At the Tequila Fest you were able to try all types of liquor, wine and spirits along with cheese samples. There were food vendors on sight, cigars and even vendors selling CBD edibles for those who are into that. Overall it was a nice experience. I will suggest to have more tequila vendors next time since it is a tequila fest.

Large complex filled with shops, eateries, art, and businesses. Tons of courtyards to hang out in. Definitely worth a visit if in the Greenwood Heights area!

Industry always amazes me with decor and fun new things they have. I wish though they would have an amazing sit down beautiful restaurant. They have just take and go places to eat! This time we went they were all decorated for Christmas. It was warm and cozy everywhere you went. We stopped at a beautiful wine store with the most amazing owner. On this day he was featuring a wine tasting with the gentleman who makes the wine. We then headed to a candle place which had beautiful made candles. We also stopped at the bbq places for some dinner and then up to ft Hamilton distillery for a cocktail. We also went to a featured museum of Michelangelo the Sistine Chapel. Great night overall!

Plenty to do, lots to explore, family friendly and great for a night out! There's book stores, food spots, activities and even specialty shops! The atmosphere is amazing! I loved the wall art. Each building offers a different vibe. Highly recommend

This review is long overdue lol but catching up on my drafts lol I went to a hot sauce expo at industry city one of the coolest places ever in the city when I tell you it's like a maze lol it took forever to find the exact space the event was held in but it was super cool because the entire wall you get to see cool restaurants and shops that are very unique. The expo was amazing and one of a kind, they have a Korean market that you have to check out as well as a really cool pizza shop it's so much can't mention all of it but one of my fave parts was Indeed the wine bar, great tasting wine and the workers were on point with the wine knowledge. Highly suggest you check out industry city super fun

If you're in NY visiting like I am, this place should be added to your "tourist list" if you have extra time. I love food halls and large venue spaces with multiple vendors and just doing touristy things. I took the subway to get here so I have no idea how parking works. There's lots of mini shops, tons of eateries, cool brewery spots, furniture stores and even a Japanese supermarket. There's also a nearby Costco which was neat to visit too since I had no idea Costco existed in Brooklyn.

Ask the Community - Industry City

Is there anything to do here or is anything open on Fridays 2-5pm?

Yes, bars, restaurants, brewery, distillery, shops, Japanese supermarket, RH outlet, - basically it's a small town. Great food, areas for kids to play too.

What hours is industry city open?

    Usually normal business hours: 9am-6pm M/F; 11am-6pm S/S.

    Is industry city dog friendly?

Yes! I brought my large dog here and the security guard said it was okay to take him inside the buildings. They have an outdoor portion near Avocaderia with a dog water fountain for them to drink out of.

He was given specific instructions not to speak to anyone on premises relative to a business for sale. He has a flyer with highlighted instructions to be discreet and not speak to anyone on premises. A covering email again recited the admonition not to speak to anyone on premises. Maurice Amar ignored the instructions and the flyer's instructions. When a business is for sale, informing the staff is extremely disruptive. It puts fear into the staff who may leave thinking there would be no place for them under a new restaurant. Do NOT list your property with Tri State Commercial. This company is made of of liars and thieves!…read moreWe were approached by Avi Akiva from Tri State to rent our commercial space and were convinced to sign an exclusive contract with them which turned out to be a huge mistake. The day after signing, Avi contacted us with an interested business. It was a business that had already approached us prior to signing the contract and had already turned down. It was this moment I realized we were approached because they already had an interested party. We explained our reasons for turning them down and hoped to move on. Unfortunately, after this interaction we were no longer able to get in contact with them for the rest of our contract length. In Avi's defense, I initially asked him to list at a rate he felt was too high. I told him I would be open to listing lower if he saw a lack of interest. After the 1st month, I was ready to lower our rate, but could not get in contact with Avi to make the change. Every time I called, he would answer that he was busy and needed to give me a call back. I never got any of these call backs. So i texted him to arrange a time better for him. He would respond with a voice message that he would call me back "thursday" which he never would. After about the 6th attempt with no call back, I accepted that he was purposely avoiding my calls. Since we had another unavoidable 5 months left on our contract, I checked into the ads that they had posted on our behalf and found multiple issues. Not only were we LISTED IN THE WRONG LOCATION!!! but even the important details were wrong such as square footage which was listed at lower than existing. Our property is located in Williamsburg on the waterfront. They listed us in Flatbush. During this time we were also contacted by multiple realtors with interested clients who expressed their refusal to work with Tri State Realty. But we told them we had no choice but to wait for our contract to end. Had we known about their reputation earlier, we definitely would not have signed with them. I hope this prevents others from making the same mistake I did.

After our tenant of 15 years moved on, we turned to Peter, whose deep knowledge of the local market helped us price and position our newly renovated apartment perfectly. Peter carefully screened candidates, met them in person, and kept us informed every step of the way. I'm finding myself difficult to write this as I know this will blemish the amazing 5 star record…read more But my experience is SOOOOO awful it should not go without telling. James Lola is a horrible individual. And when you recall stories of despicable brokers, he embodies ALLLL of that. This perspective comes from a renter interested in a home James has exclusive rights to. This apartment is located on Hoyt St and I feel terrible for the homeowners he represents. The one major issue was the ability to get into the home. Due to the fact that there were current tenants residing in the space, access was limited. This is very understandable to myself and all. I followed up with James for several days until he responded with an option that worked. Sidebar - I had to do all of the follow up. On my final attempt to confirm a time with James, he responded by asking if my partner is coming. Let's put a few things out there. 1) If you're a New Yorker, We all know how cut throat the real estate industry is. 2) It's preferable by brokers that all parties are in attendance for the viewing, but when it doesn't work due to limited access then it doesn't work. And my partner is a doctor with irregular hours. 3) It's not difficult to know right away if an apartment is a good fit or not. And if it is, a second visit is not unwarranted. Back to the story of James. James responds with "we require all adults who will occupy to view together, at least the first time. We can't rent an apartment to people who haven't seen it, and whom we haven't met." Now, I personally have seen an apartment without my partner. He has done the same. And we do understand this is a preferred option but given the difficulty of being able to get access because of the current tenants, the very limited viewing hours, attempting to see the place for a week, and the fact that my partner also has a hard schedule due to his career, I would have HOPED there would be some flexibility since I could see it on Wed and he could see it on Friday if I felt this would be a great fit. After James response, I decide to immediately call him and have a conversation. And THIS is where sh*t hits the fans!!
