This place is such a gem! There's such a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, live music and plenty of places to sit.

I enjoyed my time here at this market. Its not overly saturated with stalls, but there are just enough of each type of cuisine, making it so there is something for everyone. There was live band music playing when I arrived which had me excited. I ordered from several stalls and was able to stay for several hours while I stuffed my face. I would definitely return.

For some of you, winter means it's time for South Beach. Others will head to Vail. My cold weather destination of choice is Dekalb. I'm not the most adventurous Dekalber as I often revisit the classics. Hana Noodle Station is my favorite; try the crushed cucumber with garlic but proceed slowly and with a nearby beverage. Spicy Hobo Noodles at Thank You Come Again are among the better incendiary options. Weary of NYC food hype (only open on Tuesday mornings, $200 tasting menus, etc.), I'm grateful for Dekalb providing a sense of place and diverse cuisines with no reservations and no long walks in the snow.

Globe trotting through the big apple and looking for a place to sit, relax and cat ha a bite. City Point was the ideal spot with plenty of choices at reasonable prices. Plenty of end point restaurants with mall type seating. Overall service was great coupled with plenty of seating.

Dekalb Market Hall at City Point is another large food court/hall open to the public with shared retail space with other food businesses. Yes, there is a plethora of food options. It is located in a basement adjoining another shopping complex called City Point. Yes, there is a Trader Joe's in the lower level. There are elevators for ADA accessible and inside the elevator there is a directory listing of business names in alphabet order. It appears very modern. It contains emerging vendors and established business names. Patrons can wander throughout this food court/hall before deciding on your choice for lunch/dinner followed by bubble tea, or snack then beer and completing at day's end grocery shopping at Trader's Joe or Target. Hunger pangs end at Dekalb Market Hall. This food court/hall is accessible via MTA NYC Transit A train at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets station or Jay St-MetroTech station. Either subway station requires a twelve (12) minute walk as it was a trek in the bitter cold. Price is exorbitant, but expected average in 2025 inflation/tariff era.

This food hall is awesome and there's so many food stalls (including Katz Delicatessen) and a Trader Joe's. Trader Joe's can get incredibly crowded, but checkout lines were well organized, with a worker guiding "traffic" to check out. Seating for food stalls can get tricky, but most vendors have a small amount of designated seating too.

DeKalb Market Hall is the vibrant intersection of culture, cuisine, and community in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. DeKalb is a place for foodies and families to connect over global flavors while supporting the local restaurants that make them. I was in Brooklyn and wanted to check out Dekalb Market Hall. It was hard to find parking, but I eventually found parking in the front of the building. The hall was massive and had a variety of foods. There is food for everyone's taste buds, and it is a great spot to hang out and go with family. What I love about the market hall is that it has a Trader Joe's inside. The Trader Joe's was packed with people. I didn't get anything to eat, but I wanted to check on it. I would be back to try the food again when I'm in the area.

This Market Hall can become overwhelming because of so many goodies they have to offer. Not only can you find some delicious bites to eat but they have other stores that not food you can also shop in. Of course I came for the food court but I didn't purchase anything yet, because of the overwhelming amount of options. I will come another time and give a better review. For now I would say if you haven't been definitely brace yourself because you will want to get some of everything. I mean everything from food to beer, wine etc. Do plan to spend some money because although it's a food hall, it gives five stars dining prices. So go with a budget in mind or know where you want to go first and stick to it. Happy Yelping!

Love this place! So many delicious and diverse options to choose from. Great vibes. I've visited about 6 business's And I intend to come back until I try them all. Dropped in for Valentine's Day, it was lively with plenty of people. Appeared to be well kept and clean. Stopped at the Photo Booth, love me a cute Photo Booth Pic.

What an amazing variety of fantastic selections for great food! We're staying in Brooklyn and this is close to our hotel, what luck! We made our way to the food hall and did a couple laps to familiarize ourselves with the offerings. We chose El Porto Cubano and Patok by Rach. Cuban/Caribbean and Filipino, respectively. Both were fantastic. We ordered a variety of things, including Ropa Vieja with all the fixings, garlicky stewed Yuca, Lumpia, and pork belly. What a feast! Do yourself a favor and stop through! There were probably 12 more places that we didn't try and plan to another day.

This food hall in Downtown Brooklyn is a cute stop for a bite or a meal. This vibrant market has a variety of different cuisines and cultures, and is a great place for exploring new places and bites. Around it, there's also a mall (right above) as well as a Target and Trader Joe's. When I went, it wasn't super packed but it was still busy!

What a great new place in the Dekalb area of Brooklyn. It's a large food hall with just about every type of food you could think of. Each of the booths are decorated based on their type of food so it's a fun little tour through many different countries. The people at the various places we visited were all friendly and helpful and the food and/or drinks at all of them were great.

Sarah W.

Fun place with something for everyone! This was only a few blocks from our hotel and had tons of options. I got a green drink and turmeric shot and a cookie, my son got a croissant and a donut, and my husband got a sandwich. We also had a lot of fun wandering around. Good vibes and lots of bright colors! Prices were reasonable at most places and service was great at all we experienced!

There were no no bean sprouts in the dish, and the taste was awful. I promise you I'm not a picky, eater or some gourmand who demands a 5 star experience for a take out order for lunch. But this was too much. I paid close to $22 plus a a tip for something I couldn't eat. You e been warned.

They specialize in Singaporean Hainanese chicken rice, and since it was my first time, I opted for the signature mixed chicken set to try both the poached and roasted varieties. The chicken is served over fragrant rice cooked in chicken stock and comes with steamed Asian greens topped with fried garlic, sliced cucumbers, and a light cabbage soup. It also includes a few dipping sauces, like a lime ginger chili and a dark soy/oyster sauce. I also ordered a soy egg, which was unique; the flavor was prevalent without being overwhelming and it was topped with crispy garlic. The chicken meal was delicious, well-balanced, and felt nourishing. The poached chicken was incredibly tender, juicy, and smooth--light in the best way possible--while the roasted chicken provided a nice textural contrast with the skin, even if the skin slipped off occasionally. While I had a slight preference for the poached, I'd still probably order the mixed set again because both were great. I even found myself dipping the chicken and rice into the light broth for extra flavor. The sauces were good, though a bit heavy for my personal taste. While it isn't the cheapest fast-casual option and they don't offer tap water (meaning you'll have to buy a bottle), I highly recommend it and sticking to the chicken dishes they are known for. I couldn't finish all the rice, so it's definitely a filling portion.

Last night we decided it was time she try Korean food, and specifically he wanted to choose a Bib Gourmand restaurant. We booked this reservation the same day, and watched spots get taken as we booked on the website! Street parking wasn't hard to find and we were greeted and seated immediately. We loved the calming atmosphere inside and had a table with a view of everything. After offering us water, we decided on drinks. I ordered the Velvet Reviver, which was described as an espresso martini meets a White Russian. It was delicious and almost like a dessert drink. My boyfriend ordered The Squid & The Whale which grew on all of us, especially paired with our food. To start, we shared the Yache pajun (vegetable scallion pancakes) and the Dukboki fundido (a Mexican inspired spicy, hot, cheesy dip with my favorite chewy Korean rice cakes inside). The scallion pancakes were delicious and had much more texture than once I have tried in the past, paired with a perfect vinegary sauce you can spoon on top. We all loved the dip and it was the perfect amount of spicy and comforting chewiness. I then was recommended a white wine to pair with the appetizer I chose as my entree, the Yeoneo. Each slice of salmon was incredibly fresh, and they were very generous with the amount of row that was served as well. The greens and avocado slices were great as well to add more texture. My boyfriend then ordered a yummy beer and the Daegu jorim. We absolutely adored this dish and noted that the cod had perfect structure to it, that almost mimic that of the deliciously cooked radishes in this dish. His mother ordered the ultimate comfort dish of the night, the Kalbi jjim (with no jalapeños). We were in awe at how the meat fell apart due to how tender it was. If you like melt in your mouth beef and stew like dishes, this is the dish for you. Our food was served with some banchan: amazing kimchi, myeolchi bokkeum (dried anchovies, much more mild than you'd expect), and kongjang (soy beans, also mild and with more chew than a typical edamame you might expect). We started with an order of the Japchae. Then we ordered the Bibimbop with chicken and the Bulgogi. The Japchae was underwhelming. Not a strong flavor profile, leaned sort of bland. The entrees were much better. The rice in the Bibimbop had a really yummy crispy layer. When all mixed together, it's a great melody of flavors and textures. The Bulgogi was equally enjoyable. Definitely recommend the red spicy sauce it comes with. We shared both entrees among 2 people and felt the portions sizes were decent - neither left hungry. The service was okay. We didn't seem to have a dedicated server. It felt like all the wait staff takes care of everyone simultaneously?
