The VIP breakfast burrito was delicious, I ate it so fast and honestly would have ordered another if we didn't do takeout. The burrito is filling, but also felt light with the mix of kale and tomatoes. My fiancé enjoyed his biscuit sandwich but said it was very heavy since he also got chorizo on his (standard is egg and cheese). He also enjoyed the caramel latte, made with Oaxaca origin coffee. My quest for cafes in my neighborhood lead me to finally find a place I could come to again and again. It's unbelievable that this gem has been by me for years and it is only now that Ive discovered Cafe Nube. Regardless, me and this establishment have a lot of lost time to catch up on. This space is open, airy, welcoming and inviting. Staff is always super nice and kind, and the offerings are out of this world. The green kale smoothie here has quickly become my favorite, I've had it twice this week already. It is creamy, dreamy, chock full of green goodness and just the exact amount of sweet enough. Blended with high quality healthy ingredients like oat milk, honey and greens - Im afraid this is gonna become a regular in my diet. I dared to venture in to their food menu on my last visit and got the egg and cheese biscuit sandwich with an addition of avocado. I regret to not have taken any photos but that is hands down one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have EVER had. The oozing cheddar cheese with fluffy, delicate egg, creamy avocado in a flaky, soft biscuit with a crispy, buttery and salty crust. It is heaven in a mouthful. Ive been reading high praise for the tacos, and I reckon I am probably only a few days away from building up the appetite to be blown away. If you are in the neighborhood, please come here and give them your business. I have to admit, I've never been inside Cafe Nube. I can't tell you about how comfortable and charming it is inside. I can't tell you if it looks clean, or if the staff is super friendly. I can't even tell you if there are long lines, or even exactly where it is. All I know about Cafe Nube is that my wife works nearby occasionally, and she will bring me home the most delicious tacos that are still FIRE when they arrive, not quite as hot as you might want them. What I Can Tell You: 1. Like I said, the tacos are DELICIOUS. The Korean chicken is excellent. The adobada and the pollo asado are also great. But the pulled pork is the one you want, if you're some kind of weirdo who only wants one taco. It's so, so tasty. 2. The tacos are BIG. Three of these at lunch (around $11) will make you want a nap. They are stuffed with meat, some slaw, and I wish they actually all had the guac, as it's good. 3. I want to eat these tacos all the time. Unfortunately, unless I get off my lazy ass, I will have to settle for the occasional lunch (they close at 3:30 pm, so no dinner tacos for me) when my wife decides she loves me (a rarity). I get my coffee and breakfast at Cafe Nube three times as week, right when I get off the subway and before I arrive at the office in Industry City. It is so good -- and by good, I mean: delicious, affordable, reliable, fast. I get the breakfast burrito with chorizo. It is a small small burrito but that's perfect for breakfast. Normally I don't write reviews on Yelp but I felt compelled to leave a review for Cafe Nube after having their tacos, biscuit sandwiches, and smoothies. I've ordered their food and drinks on three different occasions and it exceeded my expectations each and every time! First off, their biscuit sandwiches are BOMB! I used to think Red Lobster biscuits were the best but my opinion has now changed! Cafe Nube's biscuits are so fluffy and flakey that it felt like I was eating a biscuity egg tart! (I'm so drooling as I'm typing this!) They actually used the biscuits to make a sandwich out of it which is something new for me. I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit which was the right amount of egg and right amount of cheese for me. But beware, this biscuit sandwich is way more filling than it looks! Now moving on to their smoothies; I ordered the green smoothie and the blue steel smoothie. To be honest, at first I was really skeptical about ordering the green smoothie because even though I like vegetables, I don't like the idea of having vegetables in my drinks unless it's a mojito. But I wanted to try and pretend to be health conscious so I caved in and ordered it. I was really afraid that it would taste too veggie-like but to my surprise it didn't taste like there was any vegetables in it at all! The vegetable-to-fruit ratio was perfectly balanced! As for the Blue Steel smoothie, I can't really say much for it as I love blueberries. You can put blueberries on anything for me and they'll still taste great. The only way they can mess this one up is if they left out the blueberries. But jokes aside, this was another great smoothie that I can definitely see myself ordering a lot in the summer. Last but not least, their tacos were also delicious! I loved the variety of flavors their tacos had. They had Asian fusion flavors and my favorite one was the Korean barbecue one! Overall, I would visit Cafe Nube again and again and I highly recommend them! Oh, and did I forget to mention that their customer service is amazing?!
