My friend and I found them on Yelp. We are so happy we did. We made appointments for the following morning and they were very thorough and took their time on our gel manicures. I haven't gotten one since pandemic and have been doing it myself. It was nice to finally get them done. My friend now has a new nail spot too now in Burien. Gel manicure wasn't too thick and they shaped our nails perfectly. I got cat eye nail polish and my friend got a more neutral tone. Due to covid, it is appointment only and they limit who is in the store. It is nice and clean. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area.

Everything was amazing! One of my friends recommended this place to me and so I thought it would be nice to do a girls day with my mom and sister. It was very clean and we were very happy with our results!!

Found this place through Yelp and loved how easy it was to make an appointment through Yelp. There are two sisters working here and I would say that the reviews are spot on. When you enter they spray your hand with sanitizer and then check your temperature. You have to wear a mask as well and they've limited the number of people in the shop. I had a gel manicure and a pedicure done and didn't feel rushed at all. They've got their appointment timing down to a tee. I spent about an hour and 45 minutes to get everything done, and now am waiting for my pedicure to dry. The place is extremely clean and they've put in covid measures like clear plexiglass between the client and the technician. I'm the only one getting a pedicure with no one sitting next to me (most ladies were getting manicures and still a seat apart). Overall I would definitely come back as it feels like you're a valued customer, versus someone they're just trying to cycle through. By appointment only. This place has been around for 7 years.

This nail salon is the BEST nail salon that I have ever been to. The shop is a cute little area right off the main road, with lots of parking in the front and around the building. The ladies that were inside were so lovely! I had an amazing time here; they kept engaging in a conversation with me and it really made me feel welcomed. My nails came out better than expected, she kept asking if I liked them and if she needed to change anything to make them better-she was really catering to my needs and what I preferred. I wish I got both the ladies' names, I love the work they did. I'm definitely becoming a regular~

So I don't generally get pedicures and manicures because one, I'm lazy and two, I can do it myself lol but! I am 6 months pregnant and I cannot reach my toes for the life of me. I made my husband cut my toe nails but we both got very nervous So, I decided it's time to get pedicure. Now, I don't like people touching my feet and I am very ticklish (like I will legit kick them if they scrub my feet) so I made an appt and I told them to skip the scrubbing because the outcome will be no bueno for them. They sprayed hand sanitizer to my hands as soon as I came in (masks are required which I was glad) and they took my temperature. Btw I did get lost, their sign is not really noticeable so when you're on 1st ave, if you see O'reilly's, it's literally across the street next to a barber shop. The parking is limited so you might wanna come a bit earlier to secure your spot. The lady was super friendly and their facility was very clean. I sat on their massage chair and we just talked about random things while she did my pedicure. My feet feel super smooth now! And their customer service was excellent. They made sure the water was an ok temperature for me and asked if everything was alright. Best of all, it's pretty cheap! Like $35 for pedicure? I tipped them 20% and they thanked me and gave me a Godiva chocolate. Dang, I felt pampered. Highly recommend this place!

I called a few days ahead to make a pedicure for my friend and I at 10:30am. Bummer that we couldn't sit right next to each other but we had the area to ourselves. We got alcohol spray for our hands upon entering and our temperature checked. We had the place to ourselves for the most part and one person can in for a mani when we were almost done. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We will be back.

I went here on a whim, and I could not be more impressed! I got one of the most beautiful set of acrylic nails that I've ever had! The nails look thin, and totally natural. The polish was absolutely perfect with no bumps or divots. The two women that work there are absolutely amazing, super friendly and kind. The atmosphere was charming with a lot of lush, green plants, and very clean. I feel like I discovered a hidden gem! Highly highly recommend!!!!

I have found my new favorite place to get my nails done when I go home! At first I worked with Oanh and we had a very pleasant and easy going conversation as she expertly worked on my nails. Next her sister Tee finished my nails and she and I also had a comfortable fun conversation. These two ladies are very welcoming and caring about their customers. My nails look beautiful and I can't wait to return and hopefully become a regular! Like others have said, make an appointment to secure time so they can fully focus on you.

This is the best manicure I've had so far in Burien! They took their time and did a fantastic job on my manicure. I felt comfortable and trusted the tech - she was very pleasant and thorough. My one criticism is that the color sample wheel was a chaotic mess and stressful to look through. Most colors had sparkles and made me wish I had brought my own gel polish.

Definitely my new go-to pedicure salon. When it's your first time there, expect that one of the ladies there will remove your polish & take a look at your nails for signs of fungus. It may make you feel uncomfortable at first, but they truly care about your health, spot even early signs, have recommendations to treat it, & want to protect all their clients. They'd rather lose your business than spread fungus to their other clients. That impressed me. It's the cleanest nail salon I've ever been in. The pedicurists take their time with you, they're not on their phones or talking to each other the whole time. I'll definitely be back

This is a place i stumbled on looking for a french manicure. I was displeased with a other nail place as the fumes were horrible and i had to walk out. So i was headed to Normady Park and drove by Ultimate Nails. Thank goodness i pulled in. Won and Ti are so friendly, humble and really enjoy seeing you when you come in. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of there shop. The massage chairs while getting a pedicure are remarkably beautiful, clean and they take great effort in examining your feet before hand so that you will not get a foot fungus. My nails are always beautiful. Love the environment, its peaceful. read more

That does it. I've found my new nail spot. I have been looking for a place that I like to get regular pedicures, especially now that summer is coming in soon. Working in a job where I'm constantly washing my hands, I've long since given up on getting manicures but I love to spoil my feet. I've tried half a dozen nail salons before but never LOOOOOVVVVVED any one of them. They were always just okay enough for me to return. Thi (I think is how you spell her name) did my pedicure. I'm not sure of the other gal's name but it was just the two of them. She went all out on my toes, and was even able to do the design that I had showed her. My husband thought my feet were just the cutest things. I can't comment on the longevity but judging by her patience and the number of top coats she applied I'm thinking these will be around for a while. I would recommend calling for an appointment ahead of time because I think its just the two gals and they seemed very detail oriented, so it may be hard to get squeezed in as a walk in. They were super sweet and friendly. I'm so excited to finally find my nail salon! read more

My daughter and I loved our nails and experience! I booked a last minute appointment on New Year's Eve, 12/31/19 for a shellac but ended up changing my mind to a full set, which I haven't had in many years. The ladies were so nice and patient with us. This place only takes appointments and I can understand why. Their customer service and work is exceptional! Still the best nail salon! I travel 30-40 minutes because these ladies are amazing and care about their clients and making sure you leave happy everytime! The shop is covid safe btw, so you can take comfort in knowing you're going to a place that cares about your safety! read more

Absolutely will come back again. I tried Dip a couple of times one other place prior only to be very disappointed at the terrible job they did. Ultimate Nails went above and beyond to make the visit my mom and I have wonderful. Very clean and sanitary. Appointment needed so it's not overcrowded. Most of all our nails have lasted for 3 weeks. read more

This place has excellent customer service. It's 2 sisters, one who does the manicures and the other does pedicures. Both of them are lovely to talk to. They actually engage in conversation with you, not have conversations with other nail technicians like most nail salons. These sisters are one of the sweetest and humble people I've met and they really take their time to ensure you are please with their work & service. They do not make you feel rushed. Most of their service is by appointment which I don't mind. I called to see if I can make a same day appt for 11 and they said 1 would be better. I appreciated that over being told to "come in" and then have to wait around for 30 min. I love their work and am very satisfied with my nails on my hands and toes. I'm definitely recommending this place to others and will be returning! read more

Went in for a pedicure and was not impressed. The salon is not visually pleasing at all, which is fine, most salons aren't, but for this salon having 5 star rating my expectations were set higher. Having a job where I stand on my feet for 8 hours I really wanted a pedicure that would get them back to shape. The sugar scrub was a bit intense, massage only lasted about 3 minutes (I timed it) and they didn't use a foot file for calluses. I did enjoy the hot towels, just wish she would have left it on for longer. I asked for white nail polish. She suggested to put glitter on top. Which I regret because the glitter is blotchy and isn't evenly spread out. And there's spec of pink from the white nail polish brush being dirty. Wasn't really noticeable until I stepped out in the sun. The two lady's are very nice, no doubt about it. But this salon is not worth a 5 star rating unfortunately. I was really excited, thought I had finally found a nail salon for good pedicures, but I walked out spending $25 on nails that I could have just did at home. read more

I thought I would try out a new nail place after being a loyal customer of Sola Nails for over a year. The service I received at Ultimate Nails blew me away! I made an appointment over the phone for a shellac manicure. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and addressed by my first name, even though I had never been there before. There were only two ladies working and one other customer in there at the time, so I got to take a seat right away and pick a color. My nails have never looked better! They even brought me a candy along with my receipt. I will be trying the SNS dipping powder next time, as recommended by my nail technician. Make an appointment beforehand because they book up fast! read more

I've been to almost every nail salon in Burien/Des Moines and Ultimate Nails is by far the best. I recently moved to the area, and thought I would NEVER find a good salon. The incredible attention to detail at Ultimate Nails is SO worth it! The salon is appointment only, but you are guaranteed a professional and personal experience every time. I love how quiet and secluded the salon is, so I never feel anxious or overwhelmed. The color choices are extensive, including glitter, cat eye, and other special effects. I also consider the ladies here my friends. I am obsessed with my nails! read more

The women who work here are so friendly and hardworking. They take time to get to know you and also provide absolute 5 star service. I came for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure and left feeling like my nails were absolutely perfect. No flaws. They remembered my name and kept asking how I was doing and asked me questions to get to know me. Genuinely so sweet and did a phenomenal job. I will certainly be back and would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely book an appointment out of respect for everyone's time. The salon is super clean and quiet and relaxing. This is definitely the BEST nail salon I've ever been to. My daughter was a walk in 5 years ago and they're the ONLY place we'll go to get our nails done. Their attention to detail, professionalism and great service are second to none. They have a cleanliness policy that will ensure you never need to worry about getting a nail fungus. So because I have the crazy little toes that have never in my entire life had regular toenails just a nub I have a fungus. Lol Lady you are flippin crazy and have no clue as to life in general. No problem I went to your closest competitor told them what I had just encountered and happily gave them my money plus a nice tip. The older woman who owned the shop laughed and said shes just ignorant and knows no better. I will make sure everyone I know hears about your ignorance to the fact that not everyone has the perfect little toes you seem to only want to take care of. read more

I was so impressed by the service at Ultimate Nails. The first thing they did, as I was a new client, was check my feet before my pedicure. Tee looked at my feet and told me that I had damage from wearing nail polish for so long, so I needed to give my nails a break from polish. I've never had anyone tell me that before. The spots she observed have been there for a long time. She gave me a wonderfully relaxing pedicure without polish and suggested I soak my feet in epsom salts and rub them with Vaporub after. She thought I could have my nails painted in the spring. Beside the amazing service, the sisters and lovely to work with. Wow! They are amazing. I highly recommend Ultimate Nails! read more

Oaun is the most incredible nail technician I have EVER been to. These are the lightest but toughest nails (I'm pretty rough with my hands) and they are perfectly shaped JUST the way I wanted. It's so hard to find someone this special. They are both incredibly nice and it's just a complete joy going in there. The energy is wonderful and the nails are PERFECT! I'm so happy for great yelp reviews. We were looking for a place near the airport as I needed a toe polish change and was thinking of just getting my nails painted. Was so happy she talked about getting a gel manicure as it is so pretty. I'm so used to nicking my nails I was nervous to do anything until they were dry. They already were!!! I showed them a picture of my shoes as I was overwhelmed with all the choices of color. They picked right!! I'm also thankful I made an appointment as they were turning people away when we were there. Very friendly and very conscientious of cleanliness. I love that. A great place. My favorite place for a pedicure. This is so much more than pretty nails and a leg massage. First - they always make sure you don't have any fungal infection on feet or toes keeping you safe - as they have done this with previous customers. Then- the pedicure is about nail health. They do a great job managing my difficult feet which are prone to ingrown toenails. Then - they even recommend when I should skip polish to keep my nails healthy. Great experience. read more

Oanh & Tee are the legit nail dream team! They are the best salon I have ever been to (and trust me when I say I have had my share of nail pampering across the state). They take extremely good care of you and are the sweetest ladies in the biz. Parking is easy and the space is super clean. They take covid precautions extremely seriously, which I greatly appreciate. For acrylic big toenail. She turns to her coworker who doesn't break her concentration to make eye contact and tells her "no we're busy" My tech looks up at me and tries to convey the message. I already understood. I am a sitting customer but was asked to come back later to get what I actually wanted or to settle for what they could do right now. I sat a bit frazzled for a moment & asked to be clear "so I am a customer & cannot receive the service I am requesting?" she looked quite bothered to break the news to me but she did. She was kind when telling me I was only getting what they were giving (in so many words) Being that I was on a break at work. I agreed. The rest of the pedicure was actually amazing. I just wish I couldve gotten what I wanted. Maybe next time I'll have to make an appt because the service itself was amazing. Cindy is GREAT & I'll be tipping her personally. She is the only reason I will be coming back here.

I went in for a regular mani/pedi and the lady seemed as if she was training for the esthetician Olympics with how fast she was rushing everything. She was literally just slapping the nail polish on thick and as fast as she could, which left bubbles and now after a couple hours, it's starting to peel. I could understand if she was rushing a little because it's busy or if they closed soon, but there was no one there in the middle of the day. The lady also cut me with the cuticle cutter and said it was from the nail file... I said that I'm pretty sure it was from the cuticle cutter...because it's literally my finger that got cut and I could feel it? She insisted it was the nail file... Okay sure. Also, some of my nails weren't filed all the way smooth... even though she didn't even cut them. Like, they were jagged. How? I still tipped, probably because I work in customer service and felt bad, but this was pretty awful. Super rushed, super messy and gaslighting me about how my finger got cut? Never again.

I love this salon! It was my first time getting treated at Ultimate Nails and the ladies there are so sweet and honestly care about your health. While I was patiently waiting before getting taken care of, one of the employees was about to do a pedicure on her client but when she checked her feet, I guess bacteria was beginning to form under her toe nail and she didn't want to risk spreading it to her other toes so she recommended her client what to do next and told her she couldn't do the pedicure because she didn't want to risk anything and asked her to come back in a few weeks. I thought that was great because it showed the nail tech really cared about her client and wasn't out for her money either. The ladies there treated me with respect and I would definitely go back there and I live in Federal Way. I promise you won't regret it , they are amazing read more

I visited this salon on a Friday and got a shellac manicure at the insistence of my daughter, who raved about this salon. Am I glad I did! The sisters did a fabulous job on my nails, getting me ready for a Christmas function that evening. My red nails were perfect! Unfortunately on Monday my thumb nail had a minor chip and lifted slightly (my fault). 30 minutes after emailing them, I was in for a repair the same afternoon. She was able to fix the nail completely--at no charge, and even re-painted the tips of my other nails, and did an additional topcoat on all my nails. She was cheerful, friendly, and did a fabulous job!! I am not one to get my nails done regularly, but with such nice and skilled ladies to work with, I will be back!! read more

This place is awesome! I would have to say they take pride in the work they do, I came in for dip powder nails they came out beautiful. My first time getting them and I broke my thumb nail on New Years. And called them because I can not have broken nails lol and yet again they went above and beyond and were able to fit me in another time last minute around closing and fixed my nail without charge!
