Found this place through Yelp and loved how easy it was to make an appointment through Yelp. There are two sisters working here and I would say that the reviews are spot on. When you enter they spray your hand with sanitizer and then check your temperature. You have to wear a mask as well and they've limited the number of people in the shop. I had a gel manicure and a pedicure done and didn't feel rushed at all. They've got their appointment timing down to a tee. I spent about an hour and 45 minutes to get everything done, and now am waiting for my pedicure to dry. The place is extremely clean and they've put in covid measures like clear plexiglass between the client and the technician. I'm the only one getting a pedicure with no one sitting next to me (most ladies were getting manicures and still a seat apart). Overall I would definitely come back as it feels like you're a valued customer, versus someone they're just trying to cycle through. By appointment only. This place has been around for 7 years.

This nail salon is the BEST nail salon that I have ever been to. The shop is a cute little area right off the main road, with lots of parking in the front and around the building. The ladies that were inside were so lovely! I had an amazing time here; they kept engaging in a conversation with me and it really made me feel welcomed. My nails came out better than expected, she kept asking if I liked them and if she needed to change anything to make them better-she was really catering to my needs and what I preferred. I wish I got both the ladies' names, I love the work they did. I'm definitely becoming a regular~

So I don't generally get pedicures and manicures because one, I'm lazy and two, I can do it myself lol but! I am 6 months pregnant and I cannot reach my toes for the life of me. I made my husband cut my toe nails but we both got very nervous So, I decided it's time to get pedicure. Now, I don't like people touching my feet and I am very ticklish (like I will legit kick them if they scrub my feet) so I made an appt and I told them to skip the scrubbing because the outcome will be no bueno for them. They sprayed hand sanitizer to my hands as soon as I came in (masks are required which I was glad) and they took my temperature. Btw I did get lost, their sign is not really noticeable so when you're on 1st ave, if you see O'reilly's, it's literally across the street next to a barber shop. The parking is limited so you might wanna come a bit earlier to secure your spot. The lady was super friendly and their facility was very clean. I sat on their massage chair and we just talked about random things while she did my pedicure. My feet feel super smooth now! And their customer service was excellent. They made sure the water was an ok temperature for me and asked if everything was alright. Best of all, it's pretty cheap! Like $35 for pedicure? I tipped them 20% and they thanked me and gave me a Godiva chocolate. Dang, I felt pampered. Highly recommend this place!

I called a few days ahead to make a pedicure for my friend and I at 10:30am. Bummer that we couldn't sit right next to each other but we had the area to ourselves. We got alcohol spray for our hands upon entering and our temperature checked. We had the place to ourselves for the most part and one person can in for a mani when we were almost done. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We will be back.

I went here on a whim, and I could not be more impressed! I got one of the most beautiful set of acrylic nails that I've ever had! The nails look thin, and totally natural. The polish was absolutely perfect with no bumps or divots. The two women that work there are absolutely amazing, super friendly and kind. The atmosphere was charming with a lot of lush, green plants, and very clean. I feel like I discovered a hidden gem! Highly highly recommend!!!!

I have found my new favorite place to get my nails done when I go home! At first I worked with Oanh and we had a very pleasant and easy going conversation as she expertly worked on my nails. Next her sister Tee finished my nails and she and I also had a comfortable fun conversation. These two ladies are very welcoming and caring about their customers. My nails look beautiful and I can't wait to return and hopefully become a regular! Like others have said, make an appointment to secure time so they can fully focus on you.

This is the best manicure I've had so far in Burien! They took their time and did a fantastic job on my manicure. I felt comfortable and trusted the tech - she was very pleasant and thorough. My one criticism is that the color sample wheel was a chaotic mess and stressful to look through. Most colors had sparkles and made me wish I had brought my own gel polish.

Definitely my new go-to pedicure salon. When it's your first time there, expect that one of the ladies there will remove your polish & take a look at your nails for signs of fungus. It may make you feel uncomfortable at first, but they truly care about your health, spot even early signs, have recommendations to treat it, & want to protect all their clients. They'd rather lose your business than spread fungus to their other clients. That impressed me. It's the cleanest nail salon I've ever been in. The pedicurists take their time with you, they're not on their phones or talking to each other the whole time. I'll definitely be back

I will never ever go to a different nail salon in my lifeeee! This is the best nail salon ever. The service is unmatched and done with extreme care and detail. These sisters know exactly what they are doing and make sure you are always happy with the shape, length, design, everything! High quality meets timely appointments = your amazing new place to get nails done. As advised inline- I called to make an appointment for a gel manicure. I was skeptical at how timely this new (to me) salon would be at getting me in at my appointment time- but they actually had me in my seat 2 minutes before the actual time. The salon was not busy- but each technician was helping someone when I arrived. I figured this must be due to their policy, requiring appointments instead of hinting walk ins. It was nice not to have to waste time waiting for a seat. The service itself was amazing . I can't tell you how many times I have asked for a gel manicure else where, only for the technician to skimp on the manicure part. The application of the shellac was well done fantastic as well. I will most definitely be back for my nail needs. read more

After four and a half years struggling from nail shop to nail shop and being disappointed with the quality of work I.e shaping, polishing, and lack of creativity with designs I've discovered a jewel right in Burien! The salon is small but organized nicely and very clean. The spa-like feel with top polish brands on slow titling rotating shelves is a classy touch! The two nail techs were inviting and accommodating, their quick assessment of my badly tattered polish still gave them a sense of what I preferred and all recommendations were awesome! Thanks for the best experience I've had in Seattle, you treatment of me will have me singing your praises to all that inquire about my nails, which are many in my profession on board Seattle's hometown airline, this salon is simply excellent!!! read more

Super professional regarding booking & actually being seen at the time of appointment. Most nail salons these days you walk in to a room full of walkins and your appointment ends up being moved 30-1hr later because they take too many people. So happy I found this place. This is the only place I've been gettin my nails done for the past 2 yrs maybe longer. They are very clean. They wear gloves to do nails and stations are always clean. This is probably the best nail salon I have ever been to. I requested an appointment through Yelp and received a response in about an hour. When I arrived for my appointment, the ladies greeted me and asked me if I was there for my appointment. I was early, so I waited for about 5 minutes. I showed them a picture I had found on Pinterest of the nail art I wanted. My nails came out even better! The pedicure was fantastic! My feet haven't been this soft in years. I liked that they check for fungus and that they use a hard plastic sponge for exfoliating dead skin from your feet instead of the metal skin grater. They were busy when I was there and had to tell several people who came in that they wouldn't be able to get to them for a while and suggested they return at a certain time. I suggest checking in with them about an appointment in advance. I can't wait until my next visit. I am already thinking about colors and nail art! read more

I get a pedicure every once in a blue moon and decided to come here because it had good reviews and is close to my house. I enjoyed my pedicure and had a nice long talk with Thi (T maybe? Amazing ladies! I am wowed with their consistent and fabulous treatment! I never leave with a bad manicure - Oahn and her sister treat every client their very best and I am willing to drive from anywhere to see them! I've been seeing them for six months and will see them till my hands are 99 (to be honest I'll probably have them do my nail for my funeral anyways! lol) *You definitely need to have an appointment!! while occasionally they are able to take a walk-in - they are still busy! Don't get mad if you walk in and expect them to see you right then - great nails salons are hard to find and this one is a gem! I am most sad to share this review because it means I am sharing this secret but they are amazing and everyone should know! Greatest manicure of all time?!?! Quite possibly yes, all due to the fact that I didn't get a chip for 9 days, wow. Granted, I went a little easy on my nails, but still. And the paint job was so precise and even, color me impressed. I was randomly in the area and decided to try out Ultimate Nails since it had the best reviews on trusty Yelp. I had to come back later since there was only a pair of ladies working, and they were occupied with the four feet of two clients. It's a small place. I killed time in the nearby 1st Avenue Cafe which I'd recommend. The manicure was $12. It's not a quick job, but much care is taken with the entire process. My technician was a very polite soft-spoken woman, and we exchanged some friendly conversations but I didn't have to worry about having my ear chatted off or enduring uncomfortable silences. Really satisfied with Ultimate Nails. Ultimate indeed. read more

Coming back back to reiterate how AMAZING these ladies are! I took a break from getting my nails done for a few months to get them healthy again and made the mistake of going to a different salon in a pinch when they couldn't fit me in for an appointment. Big regret there! I'll never go to another salon again. I am so happy with how my full set turned out - thank you Oanh! also had a great pedicure! It was my first time at this small, clean nail salon. The basic pedicure was $25 for about 45 minutes including drying time. The water was hot, which I greatly appreciate! I was surprised nothing was added to the water, but not a big deal. After my feet soaked and the nails were cleaned up, my technician did an exfoliant scrub on the feet and lower legs. I would have liked more dry skin to come off of the heels. However, my nails came out great; my tech took her time and was detail-oriented. My nails are a great length for what I had asked for. Hot towels applied to the legs. Upon paying, they gave me a little piece of dark chocolate. I thought it was such a sweet gesture! Pros: clean salon, clean practices (they inspect nails beforehand and will not proceed if you have fungus), hot water, inexpensive, polite and friendly, great service, accepts credit cards Cons: not impressed with the color selection, could have taken more dry skin off, plain water for basic pedi read more

This is my favorite nail salon! The ladies are so sweet and very good at their job. Everything is very clean and I love the way my nails look everytime I leave! My only suggestion is to make an appointment before you go in. It's way easier for everyone involved because it's a small business. New favorite nail salon! To ensure the safety of their clients and themselves, this salon is taking serious safety measures and as a healthcare administrator I appreciate this so much. Only 2 max clients in the salon at a time, by appointment only, temperature check, and sneeze guards between you and the technician. During my appointment, the technicians were also wearing PPE. I got a temperature changing shellac manicure this time around and I'm obsessed with the quality of manicure and product they use. I highly recommend trying out Ultimate Nails for a clean, safe, and wonderful nail service experience. read more

I had an issue with my other nail place and I was looking for something last minute and ultimate nails was able to take me. The ladies do such an amazing job. Both so friendly and my new full set with color changing polish is flawless. Also my acrylics are thin, which is a good thing, because most nail places make them really thick. Second time getting acrylics and I love this place so much! First time coming here! Got recommended by a friend who frequents this place and the yelp review drew me in! The service is fabulous! This nail salon definitely deserves 5 stars. The experience is exceptional from the beginning to end. It is owned by two sisters who are very hard working ladies, Oanh(wan) and Tee. They are friendly, they remember your name, they always greet you with warm smiles and make you feel welcome. They are very knowledgeable about what they are doing. They don't rush, they pay 100% attention to details. They listen to you and make sure you leave their salon satisfied. You will be blown away with their skills and would definitely want to return the next time. I encourage everyone to give them a chance if you'd like to get your nails done properly. You will not regret and you will find everything I write in this review are true. Just a friendly tip, I recommend to make appointment first before you go as they do get busy sometimes. read more

What a tiny gem! The ladies that work here are so sweet, and they gave me a piece of chocolate after I paid which is such an elegant touch. I got a shellac manicure for a reasonable price three weeks ago and there's still not a chip in sight! It's a tiny space, so I do recommend booking in advance because they fill up quickly! Everyone was so nice and prompt. Me and my friend weren't rushed when others came in after us. They took time with our nails and made sure we loved the shape, color, etc before moving on. SNS dip for acrylic rather than the cement time filled with chemicals. The business is very clean, well kept, calming and had good music playing. Prices are pretty fair and not completely different from others in the area. But since it was such a great experience, I was more than happy. read more

I just moved here a few months ago from Ohio and I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a nail stylist near me that I liked. The one thing that I always have done is my nails and I wanted to find something close to my house so I didn't have to drive through a ton of traffic to get there on the weekends. I saw their wonderful reviews and pictures, thought I would give them a try. These two ladies are beyond amazing - they made me feel right at home. I have a standing appointment with them every 2 weeks and I'm so lucky that they weren't completely booked. They have always been able to do anything I've asked when it comes to designing my nails and they pamper every one of their clients. The prices are reasonable and they check your nails for fungus before they even work on you, which means that they're clean. Very impressed by this family-owned salon run by two friendly, hard-working sisters! I came here with my mom for pedicures. It was her first pedicure experience so I wanted it to be a good one. We were treated with great hospitality from the second we entered. The salon is small but very clean. I've been to a few salons around Seattle and this is the first place that inspects your nails for fungus before performing any service. It definitely put us at ease. The sisters are very knowledgeable and gave us some skincare tips during our pedicures. I'm sensitive to chemical smells and liked that they kept the back patio door open to let in fresh air. No noisy fans needed! I appreciated the sisters' attention to detail the entire time. My mom enjoyed the whole experience and was really happy with the results. I've been getting my nails done here for about the past year and they are always amazing. I did do the powder for awhile and the ombré and natural look was great. Now I get acrylic with tips, coffin style and gel polish. The shape is very natural and they are never too thick and also don't break. Highly recommend and be sure to make an appointment. read more

That does it. I've found my new nail spot. I have been looking for a place that I like to get regular pedicures, especially now that summer is coming in soon. Working in a job where I'm constantly washing my hands, I've long since given up on getting manicures but I love to spoil my feet. I've tried half a dozen nail salons before but never LOOOOOVVVVVED any one of them. They were always just okay enough for me to return. Thi (I think is how you spell her name) did my pedicure. I'm not sure of the other gal's name but it was just the two of them. She went all out on my toes, and was even able to do the design that I had showed her. My husband thought my feet were just the cutest things. I can't comment on the longevity but judging by her patience and the number of top coats she applied I'm thinking these will be around for a while. I would recommend calling for an appointment ahead of time because I think its just the two gals and they seemed very detail oriented, so it may be hard to get squeezed in as a walk in. They were super sweet and friendly. I'm so excited to finally find my nail salon! read more

I'm SUPER picky about how my nails are done! This is the 3rd salon I've tried for powder dip nails after my normal gal left the salon I had been going to on Cap Hill. I do have to drive a bit to Burien but the drive is worth it! This is the best service I've had since switching to powder dip nails and they have a large selection of colors. Well worth the drive! I haven't tried a pedi yet but will with my next service. (Look how clean they made my cuticles!) read more

I had a truly awful experience at this nail salon. Hygiene and cleanliness were clearly not a…read morepriority here, and it made the whole visit feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The tools they used were not sanitized, and the towels were stained and smelled bad. The pedicure tub was filthy and discolored, and to make matters worse, they removed the disposable tub liner and actually tried to get me to put my feet back into the dirty water. That was a huge red flag for me. They tried to use a rusty cheese grater on my feet and an old, dirty used nail file, which is both unprofessional and potentially dangerous. The technician wore dirty gloves while handling products, then didn't even wear gloves at all when cutting my nails toward the end of the service. As if all that weren't bad enough, they were also very pushy about tips, which made the whole experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. I would never return here and strongly recommend others avoid this place. There are far cleaner and more professional salons out there. Honestly not sure how they haven't been shut down by the health department.

The lady also cut me with the cuticle cutter and said it was from the nail file... I said that I'm pretty sure it was from the cuticle cutter...because it's literally my finger that got cut and I could feel it? She insisted it was the nail file... Okay sure. Also, some of my nails weren't filed all the way smooth... even though she didn't even cut them. Like, they were jagged. How? I still tipped, probably because I work in customer service and felt bad, but this was pretty awful. Super rushed, super messy and gaslighting me about how my finger got cut? Never again.

I love this salon! It was my first time getting treated at Ultimate Nails and the ladies there are so sweet and honestly care about your health. While I was patiently waiting before getting taken care of, one of the employees was about to do a pedicure on her client but when she checked her feet, I guess bacteria was beginning to form under her toe nail and she didn't want to risk spreading it to her other toes so she recommended her client what to do next and told her she couldn't do the pedicure because she didn't want to risk anything and asked her to come back in a few weeks. I thought that was great because it showed the nail tech really cared about her client and wasn't out for her money either. I visited this salon on a Friday and got a shellac manicure at the insistence of my daughter, who raved about this salon. Am I glad I did! The sisters did a fabulous job on my nails, getting me ready for a Christmas function that evening. My red nails were perfect! Unfortunately on Monday my thumb nail had a minor chip and lifted slightly (my fault). 30 minutes after emailing them, I was in for a repair the same afternoon. She was able to fix the nail completely--at no charge, and even re-painted the tips of my other nails, and did an additional topcoat on all my nails. She was cheerful, friendly, and did a fabulous job!! I am not one to get my nails done regularly, but with such nice and skilled ladies to work with, I will be back!! read more
