Very bad used car buying experience. They were not helpful at all. Unwilling to negotiate when we knew we could buy a similar car for less. He kept stressing that retail price prevails. KBB showed the value at $3000 less. He refused to negotiate when we said we were unwilling to pay his retail price. We took our business elsewhere. We went literally across the street and found a different brand of the same car. It was 5 years newer, had 20000 less miles and had a lower retail price. The owner of that lot was more than willing to work with us and negotiate a price that was fair for both parties. He made the sale not the guy at Ultimate. I cannot recommend going to Ultimate if you are looking for a used car. read more

Third forgot a few things that were needed at signing. Made him come to us for additional signature because of our busy schedule, after he called numerous times and asked for us to drive to him. And sadly 4th, My son purchased his dream car less than 3 weeks ago...14 days later he breaks down on the freeway. Fluids pouring out. The vehicle has been at a shop for over a week now. Added ins. My husband and I were in desperate need of a new commuter but we knew our credit wasn't the best so we were leary of going to a 'big dealership' because we knew we were going to get turned down for a loan. I started talking to Alex there and he said he would try to get me the best deal possible, even with not so great credit and I started to have a little hope that I'd get a car that i not only loved, but was a great price. What can I say that hasn't been said already??? After searching for weeks for the right car for our family I came across a Craigslist add for a 2003 Nissan Maxima that looked BRAND NEW. The car had great mileage for it's year, was a reasonable price and was in PRESTINE condition. I called Ultimate Auto on a Monday and Rosanna said that while they are usually open until 7pm, they had to close up at 6:30 because Alex had an appointment that he needed to keep. I pleaded with her to ask him to stay until I could get there (at 6:30) and I told her I was VERY interested in the car. Alex canceled his appointment for me and said he would be on the lot until we arrived. When I got to Ultimate Auto the car was ready with the keys waiting for a test drive. Before getting in the car Alex went over all the details of the vehicle with us and was able to answer all of our questions on the spot. The car looked just as good as it did in the pictures and it drove like it looked. CLEAN. Alex gave us a great deal. He gave us the car we wanted, at the price we wanted, and made this purchase a very pleasurable experience. You can tell by talking with Alex that he truly loves what he does for a living, and he's not just in it "for the money". I truly feel that Alex and Ultimate Auto went above and beyond as far as pre-owned car lots are concerned. They did exactly what they had to do to make me a happy customer. My mom and I were looking for a car for me to have for college. we only had $600 cash with us, which isn't much. We weren't sure what we were doing but hoped everything would go well! Ultimate was the second car dealership we went to and Alex had the biggest smile on his face and had the best customer service, he worked with us even though my mom didn't have the best credit! Throughout the whole process my mom gave everything she had to make sure I got a car.
