He's straight forward and nice. Trustworthy, rough around the edges but once you get to know him through the sales process, he is a great guy. Not one to budge on price, but his prices seem fair enough. I'll let you know if the van falls apart in a month, but so far, so good. Highly recommended! You don't get the normal pressure and slime that is so typical of used car lot. If you're in the market, it's worth a look at his lot. read more

The most pleasant car buying experience we've ever had! We found T & A Auto Sales through Car Gurus after seeing a listing for a "great deal". When we arrived, we were quickly welcomed by the shop's owner and only employee, TJ. He told us about the history of the car and disclosed that the radio wasn't working right off the bat. He let us know that he wouldn't sell the car before fixing the issue and that he was already in the process. He shut down the shop to take us out for a test drive and not once did we feel pressured to purchase the car. When we asked if we could take the car to a mechanic, he offered to take it for us (requiring him again to shut down the shop). After our mechanic assured us that the car was in great shape and TJ worked out the radio, we let him know we were interested in purchasing the car. He happily held on to the car for us despite multiple other offers and worked with our schedule as we are not from the Hayward area. Although TJ was not willing to negotiate the price of the car, we agreed that it was already priced in a great position and appreciated that he was open and honest about fixing the radio. After we purchased the car, we realized there was an issue with the new radio and contacted TJ immediately. He apologized sincerely and helped us fix it, even though our contact listed the car as is. We got to know TJ fairly well throughout our car buying experience and would recommend his business to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle. He is kind, honest, and a great businessman to work with. read more

I took my son to T & A Auto to look to buy his first car. From the start Mr. Aghashiri was kind and very helpful. He explained everything about the car and thoroughly went over every detail before even taking it for a test drive. Once my son decided he wanted to buy the car, TJ gave him many options for financing. We checked the Blue Book for the car and felt that the price he was asking was a good deal. I felt that he had my son's best interest in mind. We received excellent customer service and I believe that Mr. Aghashiri is someone we can trust. He showed us all the paperwork, the service records, explained my son's credit report. He even gave my son tips on how to keep the car in good condition. When it is time for me to get a new car, I will definitely look to see what he has available before going anywhere else. read more

TJ is a great and honest guy. Went to go look at a bike he was selling. Fair price, lower than most private sellers. Went in friday to test drive the bike, got a purchase contract and put down $150 deposit. Went back saturday to finalize the deal with a cashiers check, got the bike, and the $150 deposit back. Definitely worth going to check out. read more

My grandson purchased an automobile from this business and it has been breaking down from the first day. He paid $17000 for the vehicle and was in LA the first time it broke down. He had to pay to have it fixed so he could drive it back to the Bay Area. Now he is stuck in LA again because the vehicle he purchased broke down again. He has called the business and they blocked his calls. So now we are going to send a written complaint to the State Consumer affairs Dept., and get an attorney to sue them. He could have been killed if the vehicle broke down on the Highway. Why are they selling Vehicles that are breaking down within a week or two of the purchase. read more

I purchased a used car from TJ about two years ago, but finally getting around to giving him the review that he deserves. I was searching Craigslist for a used car with low mileage, and came across one of TJ's listings. Being my first time buying a used car and hearing all these horror stories, I was a bit apprehensive and dug up as many reviews as I could before deciding to visit TJ. I found TJ to be very honest and straight forward. The price that he posted was firm (i.e. non-negotiable), but also very fair. His philosophy is that he only carries cars that he himself would want to buy, so as far as I could tell, everything was low mileage and in great shape. I was concerned about the smell of the vehicle at the time of purchase, but TJ assured me it was just the cleaner that was used and the smell would dissipate. The smell dissipated after a couple weeks, a bit longer than the few days that TJ stated, but otherwise the car has been great. 2 years later, car is still running well and I haven't had to do any maintenance aside from routine oil changes. If I ever have a need for a used car in the future, I will definitely be coming to TJ again. read more

I bought a 2003 BMW X3 V6 from here with 80k miles on then Odometer I have the car 3 days and a coolant leak springs up while I'm taking a new car trip to LA i spent 1400$ in repairs the first 3 days of having the already overpriced cost of 17k through further inspection from a third party mechanic i found out the Car doesn't have original motor so Odometer is completely wrong its a V4 not a V6 which the sketchy salesman used as his main point of sale casually saying its a V6 as he lurched over me baiting me to buy the most expensive lemon I've ever purchased Update now im back in LA the check engine light came on and transmisson is completely gone out and I cant drive the car over 40 This place will not exist in a month or so these people are scum and money hungry DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FRON HERE read more

TJ is one of the few honest car salesmen who is willing to help you make the right decision in buying your used car. I bought one of the cleanest Acura TSX's for a very fair price and he made sure I had everything I needed including taking me to a nearby bank to get what I needed. I had a great experience and I'm loving the car thus far read more

I have bought two cars in the last eight years and just bought my third. TJ has always been very straightforward about the condition of his vehicles. He even offers to let you take it to a mechanic to learn about any defects and give the buyer extra piece of mind. Each of the cars that I have purchased from TJ have been in great condition and haven't required much other than regular car maintenance. He even advised and helped me sell my car without charging me any commission. Needless to say, I have and will continue to recommend TJ to friends and family. read more

Tooraj is a very nice, friendly and knowledgeable guy. He is very honest and trust worthy, treats you just like a family member. If he is not sure about something will never give you wrong information just to make you buy! This means a lot. I recently purchased a Lexus from him and I am so in loved with my car. He was offering me a much cheaper car with all options I was looking for... You know what it means? It means he does not only think about the money he makes he considers clients and their need in a higher priority. Ali is also another nice guy there who can assist you all the way.. My boyfriend has also purchased couple cars and he is very happy with them all. Keep up the good work guys! Honesty IS the Best Policy in Business and the value of it cannot be ignored. These days you can hardly find someone who you can trust by heart and closed eyes.. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM. Try once and you will never regret. read more

After a long day looking for a particular used car we stopped and meet TJ. His no BS approach was honest and upfront with everything. He had the truck that we needed with 4x4 option at the right price. I was also looking for a Lexus to get my mom for mother's day and there was the perfect car for her. The carfax provided was useful to making both purchases. The process was hassle free and I only had to deal with TJ as he made the whole process very simple to follow. He was very accommodating to my particular needs and scheduled a return date the following week for the second car purchase. I would go back and highly recommend. read more

I recently bought a low-mileage 2006 Honda CRV from TJ. He offered it at a reasonable price, and pointed out to me a small scratch which he then put touch-up paint on. He strikes me as a very honest person, no pressure or hard-sell. Easy and pleasant transaction. read more

Buyer Beware! I recently purchased a 2007 Murano from this dealer and 1 month after owning it I have had to put $2000 in the car. Car had Multiple Oil and Fluid Leaks and major Steering and Alingment problems, not to mention the car is pretty rusty on the bottom. The dealer did give me a check for $600.00 to go towards the repairs, but I am still out $1400.00! Before you buy a car from this dealer have a professional check the car out! read more

Sales person here is super cool and knows his stuff. Also never once did I feel like I was being "sold" or talked into something I wasn't comfortable with. He even had the Carfax ready and printed as soon as I got there. Definitely recommend buying a car from this dealer! read more

I wish there were no stars for this place. He has lemon on his lot not registered. He is a very crooked and dishonest man. He held on to my registration for a month, not sure why DMV gave him my registration I'm sure he lied to get it. He overcharged me for registration among other fees. I only had the car for one week I had to replace a thermostat, radiator, front and back brakes. Now I understand as is no warranty but he don't check his cars I guess he just purchase them and sit them the lot for the next sucker. Please don't be that next sucker like I was. I should have known something when he had me lie to the finance company about how much money i put down so his cost wouldn't be that high. BUYER BEWARE read more

My experience with T&A Auto Sales was very positive. I was greeted by a friendly personable owner who was open and honest. Right from the start I felt a trust and transparency. The vehicle I went to look at was exactly as advertised and every question I asked was answered to my satisfaction. I really enjoyed our banter and we haggled a little bit and then came together on a price. No pushing no up sales just two men working out a deal. Thank you T&A read more

I was looking for a low mileage Toyota Highlander and found one advertised at T & A Auto Sales in Hayward. I live in Vacaville so I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be a wasted trip down to Hayward. I called and talked with TJ about the Highlander and I was convinced it would be a worth while trip. When I arrived, I was a bit concerned about the fences and all but when I saw the Highlander and talked with TJ, I felt better about the Highlander. It had real low miles at only 88K miles and was real clean. It has a few bumps and bruises but for a 12 year old vehicle, it was worth the price. I have now owned it for over a month and I absolutely love it. I had it checked out at my local Toyota dealership and they give it a big thumbs up and complimented how nice it was. I would highly recommend looking at the cars at T & A Auto and working directly with TJ. He is knowledgeable and far with his prices. If I need another car, I will consider driving back to Hayward and looking at the cars that T & A Auto have on their lot. Thank you TJ for making my buying experience very easy and selling me such a great Toyota Highlander. Phil from Vacaville, CA read more

I am by nature a very suspicious person and even more so when buying used cars from used car lots. I bought a car from TJ a couple of months back and had a very good experience with him. Dealing with "TJ" really was the best, easiest, straightest shooter, best price, best experience, and best vehicle! "TJ" is the dealership owner here. I've Been looking for this 2013 Ford Transit connect for over a month. Dealing with private party sellers and dealers. I had a print out of 6 from craigslist that met my criteria narrowed down from a month of searching. I showed him I was going to visit and buy one TODAY from the list. His was the second on the list that I visited that day. I asked and he quickly told me his best price for me today. I looked at 9 total that day. I was driving like a bat out of hell on my motorcycle all over bay area. Also one dealer had 4 of them. All of them were beat up and in bad shape wanting much more than TJ had priced. I came back and bought his. He showed me his purchase price contract. He was true when he said I'm not making much money at all. He looks you straight in the eye. You can see and tell he is just easy honest. He was so easy, personable, non-pushy, just the easygoing straight shooter. He showed me everything: his purchase price contract, carfax, title, DMV fees worksheet, etc. Of course he let me drive it, pop the hood, everything. Also it came with 90 day warranty! His price was at KBB dealer price, which was less than most of the private party sellers price from craigslist also! Again, I spent over a month hunting the best shape and price of this hard to get vehicle. TJ had the best of both! He was the simplest, quickest, and most enjoyable experience of all month of hunting! Sincerely, wish they were all like this. You deserve a sincere "Thank you" TJ! read more

When we arrived TJ was helpful allowing us to view the car inside and out. He was up front about the large scrape on the front bumper and that he added touch up paint. But failed to mention the touch up paint to the rear right side. After checking the car out we decided to take it for a test drive. The car ran great but the whole test drive TJ mentioning about how people buy cars at auction through credit but he doesn't he pays cash, how kids don't understand financing a car, how he only buys reliable cars that's why he offers great warranty's etc. After the test drive we decided to talk numbers, that was a big mistake. I was interested in doing good business, not trying to be robbed! I offered a price which was at the going rate for that car and added 1k more for tax, lic and registration PAID IN FULL! He was not interested in negotiating, when I mentioned the car is over priced on multiple trusted sites such as Kelly Blue Book and Cargurus a site that he listed the car on! He must of got offended that I did my research and knew numbers, because he quickly became rude and said "I don't care what Kelly Blue Book says, do you know how they get those numbers, If you don't buy ill be happy, it will sit there" So we got up and walked out, he followed us out, and continued to yell at us saying "we wont be able to find another car like this" Little did he know I'm in no rush to buy a car so its no lost for me! My advice is BUYER BEWARE do your research, pay close attention to the car fax and know the going rate for the car " dealer price, certified dealer price, private party price, and even trade in values" not all business is good business. read more

What a great experience! TJ is a class act, I really felt like I was buying my car from a man who truly cares, like family. The day I picked up my car he had everything ready, told me exactly what to bring for the financing and then helped me return my rental car...to 3 different locations! During the loan process he assured me he could secure financing regardless of my credit score being low...I had others tell me no so I was worried, He was so reassuring ...we were able to work everything out, I got the loan and a car that I know meets his very high standards for a used vehicle :) Add in the warranty he offers and I have zero complaints!! High praise for a man who is giving the used car business a good name :) read more
