ZERO STARS- I beg you please don't make the same mistake I did. He sold me a car that he knew was going to my 17 year old daughter that just got her license. I had the car looked at the next day and my mechanic told me to absolutely not drive it due to the front and back lower control arms are the worst he's ever seen on a car. Pretty much the whole suspension was trash they told me. He obviously doesn't give a sh*t about other people's lives. He won't give me my deposit back and choose to do this the hard way. Oh and, he likes to spray paint the whole inside of cars, even the cloth seats I'd attach pics if I had them but it went straight to the mechanics where it stays until it's no longer a legal matter. Well... are they (Tony and Ricardo) a good dealer? No. Can you have a good experience here? Yes. You just need to be deliberate and careful and watch out for landmines. If you do that, you'll do fine: they sure do seem to have some cool models and finds. But to not get screwed, you'll have to do your own legwork and homework. It's not that they mean to deceive you. It's that they're sloppy - and, apparently, cheap. If you protect yourself, you'll be fine. If not, bad stuff can happen - which did happen to me; lesson learned. I found a rare 2013 Infiniti G37 here. I had a soft spot for the car, as I used to have one and loved it. This particular one was a truly fully loaded rare package, with all the tech in it and even the wood luxury inlays. So I didn't even negotiate: I wanted it, and that's that. The good: Ricardo let me test drive it without any papers and by myself. They let me deposit $1k and then pay the rest ($16k more) later, when I had the cash, at pickup in a week. They were quite responsive on checking things; like I forgot to check the satellite radio, so they checked it for me, texting back and forth. Both were friendly, though Tony is a real fast-talker and kind of a BS machine but in an endearing way. The bad: When I sent multiple messages on their site, there was no response. Phone call worked. The 2 guys seem over-extended to handle everything; e.g., I happened to know they had 2 keys for this car, but Ricardo would've let me walk out without the 2nd key. For the test drive, there was no gas in the car: turns out apparently this is some kind of weird thing for Tony; I don't get it. I thought it was funny. The ugly: Look - I wanted this car. And I was paranoid about broken electronics and bad mechanics. But the CARFAX looked stellar; all the electronics worked; and they let me check out the car as long as I wanted. I was elated! You see, at the lot, the car was absolutely covered with dirt and water spots. It's a black car, so it looked particularly yucky. But underneath, hey, it was black and cool-looking. It never occurred to me to make them wash the car so I could inspect the paint. Inside, it was *spotless*. Drove like a dream. And it's a luxury car anyway - you don't expect terrible problems with the paint. ...And then I drove off the lot having bought this thing. I had the car washed. Twice. Had detailing done. No matter what I did - the car, especially the hood, was utterly covered with white specks: small, medium, and LARGE. Really ugly stuff. Turns out, all of that had been there all along; it just happened to be masked by all the dirt, since the dealer neglected to keep the car clean. So I had no way of knowing about the totally damaged paint. I've learned my lesson: demand a wash; and check the paint. And most of all, take your time and don't rush. Had I done that, I would have found out about this disaster and insisted on a discount - or walked off. You know why? Because (despite my attempts to find another solution, such as buffing and waxing) the only way to make this car's paint look halfway decent is to repaint it. The absolute cheapest place quoted $1,000 for just the front; $1,600 if I wanted to make the back and roof look decent too. Most other shops estimated $2,300 and up. I'd say a $1k discount would have been reasonable. Just in case you think this is some nitpicking, where I was expecting a perfect look on a 9-year-old black car - absolutely not! This wasn't a couple scratches. I have, e.g., a Subaru from 2009, and that thing looks nowhere near as messed up. This Infiniti was rock chips throughout, a look like someone had flecked the car with a ton of white paint, especially on the hood and front. Really ugly... trust me on that. I am not a nitpicker, nor do I engage in buyer's remorse. Speaking of ugly: I texted Ricardo about this. I tried to be civil, but he got defensive very quickly; he kept texting, "You saw the car TWICE." All the CAPS repeatedly. I kept saying, "yes, and because the car was so dirty, I had no way of knowing the problem underneath the dirt." He ignored it. "TWICE," "TWICE." He kept saying it. He kept saying "CHIPS ON A 13-YEAR OLD CAR," as if that means I was being unreasonable. Plus it was a 9-year old car.... "I won't speak to you again. Talk to Tony, maybe he'll do something for you, I don't care." That kind of childish nonsense. Hey - even if you don't want to do anything, maybe don't dismiss the problem as some silliness? What happened to the customer is always right? Jerk behavior. Anyway I did email Tony, and he was polite but refused to do anything, no cash, no nothing. "I can refer you to a body shop in Hayward." (I'm in San Jose.) Thanks for nothing, you know? To summarize: Hey, my own fault - lesson learned. Be paranoid about everything. Take your time. We initially bought a vehicle from here last year and although we had mechanical issues we didn't mind it too much because my husband really needed a car. Fast forward to March 2018 my husband was in constant contact with this dealership (I can't remember the guy's name). We ended up trading the vehicle we got from them for a minivan. WORST DECISION WE EVER MADE. My husband brought up the concerns regarding the minivan such as transmission fluid, oil change, and tire pressure. The man said he would go have it looked over by his "mechanic" and he would bring it back by the time we finished the paperwork. After we finished the paperwork we ended up waiting up to an hour NO FUCKING UPDATE. Christian (I think his name was) had to call him and ask him where he was. And he asked if he could talk to my husband. When he spoke with my husband the understanding was that he would do an oil change, fill up the air in the tire, look over the transmission fluid, and fill up the gas. He told my husband that our vehicle would be ready for us the next day. First of all if we are buying a vehicle from you and YOU know we are doing that...then why are you not doing an inspection of the vehicle beforehand? And then on top of all that BS when my husband picked up the vehicle the only thing that he did was fill the gas and the tire up. Aside from all the mechanical problems he also has not paid out the vehicle we traded in and it has been coming up late in my name and is messing my credit score up. I could have sworn on top of all that paperwork he had me sign, one of them was that I release liability for the vehicle back to the dealership. So why have you not made payment on a vehicle in 2 months. LET ALONE why would you not call the lender yourself and have it taken out of my name? It's taking every ounce of strength in me not to cuss you out right now. read more

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! I went in to buy a car, the guy I dealt with named Tony came off as nice and genuine telling me things like other "dealers are not as honest" and that he didn't want me to overpay somewhere else. So with that being said the car I came to look at I ended up purchasing as I felt like it was a fair price and car was in good condition and the mileage was low. Not to long after I leave the dealership the check engine light comes on. So I bring it in the next day and they checked it and kept saying it had something to do with the gas cap and so forth. So they cleared the check engine light and said if it came back on bring it back. A couple of days later the check engine light came back on again. From here I brought it back in to them and Tony suggested I take it to the mechanic shop (DO NOT TRUST THIS MECHANIC SHOP AS WELL) down the street since the shop next to the dealer was closed. I brought it to the mechanic shop down the street and the guy checked it out plugged in his scanner to see what codes would pull up. He pulled a fast one and cleared the check engine light but claimed that the check engine light turned off on it's own and that he didnt do anything, but he did. I know that this is not possible for the check engine light to turn off on it's own, so therefore I left very upset waiting for the check engine light to come back within the next few days because I knew nothing was done. And then not to my surprise it came back on and instead I took it to an authorized dealer service department and got it checked out and got a way more trustworthy and actual diagnoses and ended up getting the car taken care of. However not to long after the car started to turn itself off when it was idling or whenever I was at a stop light. The service department could not figure out what was wrong with the car, so that leads me to one conclusion, autolink sold me a bad car. I highly suggest not doing business with these folks as they were giving me the run around with the check engine light which tells me that they knew something was wrong with the car but still sold it to me anyways. I eventually traded the car in, but I had not even had for 6 months. Moral of the story: DO NOT TRUST THESE LOCAL SMALL DEALERSHIPS, YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING STRAIGHT TO AUTHROIZED DEALERSHIPS WHERE YOU CAN GET TRUSTWORTHY HONEST SERVICE! We set a test drive for the following day and met up with Marcos. We never felt any pressure to buy or that we were dealing with a "shady" used car lot. We had been searching for a used, quality, low-mileage Dodge Ram pickup truck for a couple weeks. Finally found the perfect truck at this place - AutoLink in San Leandro. I called and spoke to Tony to first confirm the truck was still available (which it was). We scheduled a time (6:00 PM) to meet and look at the truck. Immediately upon arriving, Tony came outside and greeted us with the key in hand. He was so nice, so friendly. The truck was exactly as described in the listing, down to the few nicks/scrapes. Tony made this experience so easy for us. We literally walked out an hour later and drove home with the truck. It was a fantastic experience - Tony was so friendly and extremely happy for us too.
