I have been to a few Massage Therapy places in the Tucson area, but This is my Favorite place to…read moreget Massage Therapy! Every time I have to there they are always very attentive to my needs. The last 4 times I visited I saw "Shelly" Robles. She listens attentively to me when I tell her about my specific complaints. She has a firm, healing touch and seems to know Just where to work to relieve the pain I have experienced. For instance, I was having problems with my hands hurting and going numb. I figured it might be carpel tunnel, but she said it was in my shoulders and neck. I am Very glad I went to her about it! I do not normally have this issue anymore, unless I do whatever it is I do to pinch those nerves again. If this happens, and it has, then I know where to go for relief! I have gone to this establishment with a friend and I have also taken my son for therapy. Every Time I have gone, I have heard nothing but Good Things from each of the people I have brought with me. The entrance has nice chairs for people who might be waiting for their session to start, or waiting on someone who is in therapy. There are lovely products like essential oils, lotions and soaps for you to purchase if you would like. There are even products made by local craftsmen/women available for purchase if you wish. I would Highly Recommend this establishment and it's therapists if you are looking for a Wonderful Massage Therapy Experience. Their prices are reasonable, and Up Front. When you ask for an hour Deep Tissue Massage, it is a specific price quoted up front, not an extra price tacked on.

Instead of creating a welcoming environment, it often feels negative and uncomfortable. It's also disheartening to see so many longtime stylists leave. As a customer, that says a lot about the work environment. What I found especially unprofessional was hearing previous stylists being spoken about negatively. Regardless of what happened behind the scenes, publicly criticizing former employees or discussing their financial situations is inappropriate and reflects poorly on the business. Clients shouldn't be put in the middle of workplace drama. I genuinely hoped this salon would continue to thrive because it once had talented stylists. Sadly, the professionalism and positive atmosphere that originally brought me here seem to be gone. I won't be returning, and I can no longer recommend this salon based on my experience.

I had Botox with her several weeks ago and was sent a follow-up email, which included a link if you had any issues with the service provided. I went to that link more than a week ago and reported an issue with my treatment (not a medical problem, just not working as expected). No response. I also see on my visit summary page that I was supposed to get a number of samples when I checked out but got nothing--minor, but when you're paying these prices, you expect desk staff to be on the ball. Again, I highly recommend Dr. Pai and her medical assistant, but just know that there is the possibility of less than wonderful service from non-medical staff.

I'm not going to lie: when Tara my former nail technician at Nails Go Round quit I was bummed; Tara…read moredid a beautiful job. I tried Emily with the same salon. Most of the product ended up on the paper towel and not on my nails; in addition to that, the acrylic started to break off and under a week one nail had come off completely. I cancelled further appointments with Nails Go Round and took off the set that had been on my nails for over a year. So I tried a relatively new salon where the old Hancock Fabric used to be: Orchid Nails. My tech was fast and spoke little English. I can deal with that, sort of; I take my e-reader with me for those reasons. What I can't deal with is regular nail polish instead of the gel polish I picked out. What I further can't deal with is the manager calling me a liar and asking if I was sure I had been at Orchid Nails. Well, my bank statement says Orchid Nails. You know what they say: if quacks like a duck and acts like a duck, the chances are good that it's a duck. I never went back to Orchid Nails. I tried Nails by Yen. Loved it, aside from a few minor details. But mainly, it's too far relatively speaking; I wanted something closer to home. I tried US Nails. There are times I wish I was allowed to carry duct tape for the obnoxious clients that seem oblivious to how uncomfortable they make others feel; ah well, that's protected under the first amendment mind you. Still, in terms of fantasy... Anyways, aside from rude and obnoxious clientele, I couldn't communicate with the nail tech very much. That disappointed me. And I still wanted something close to home. Well, that's why Yelp exists in part. I searched again. J Braun Salon doesn't do acrylics at all. Scratch that. The next on the list with an impressive amount of stars was Feisty Studios Salon and Spa with a nail technician named Annie Thai. Why didn't I find Annie after Tara quit? I could have saved myself this lengthy and frankly stupid review of past mistakes had I found Annie after Emily. I tend to forget that the area I live in is technically unincorporated Marana aside from the pesky detail of the post office being in Tucson. At least the one that serves my area. But I did locate Annie and she is awesome. Totally sweet and accommodating and very accomplished in her career. I left with gorgeous nails and a second appointment. Best of all for me is that I can communicate with her and we were able to swap stories and chat. I highly, highly recommend Annie Thai. You won't be disappointed!

They don't just "do facials" -- they understand skin on a medical level. They know skin structure, corrective treatments, and how to build a real skincare regimen that actually works. I always leave glowing, educated, and confident that my skin is in the best hands. If you want results and professionalism, this is it.
