EDIT, THE VENDOR HAD THE TEXTS REMOVED. THE TEXT SHOW HOW UNPROFESSIONAL SHE IS. I uploaded all of my texts with this party. The party refused to honor a Groupon my mother purchased because I did not want to give the voucher number before the service. If they have the voucher number, they can redeem it for payment. The party will not accept appointments but by text and my 76 year old mother does not text so I was trying to handle the appointment for my mom to be told I could not be trusted and that I was abusive. To show I was not abusive, (as mentioned) I uploaded all of the texts related to the conversation. In the texts the lady says "How will I get paid?" The answer is simple, you get paid just like everyone else... when I go into a restaurant I show them my voucher and they redeem it, when I go for a message, I show them my voucher and they redeem it. Redeem it means = they get paid. In five years or so of dealing with Groupon only two people have asked me for a voucher number. As I explained in my text, I will no longer give out my voucher number because in the past, a vendor redeemed the voucher and when I showed up for the appointment the business was closed. I had a horrible time getting my money back from Groupon. For anyone not aware, you can call, wait on hold forever and talk to Groupon. Groupon will tell you to NEVER give your voucher number out to the vendor before hand. read more

Very!,Unhappy Have return 3,times for her to tattoo my eyebrows.The ink is not staying on.I have holes,patches,and discoloration on both brows.She says cuz I have oily skin.Iv had tattoos done before,NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS.I choose to put ink on cuz I can't see to put makeup on.Im a Stylist and you need to look good in this profession.Now I have to fill in and hope for the best.Yevtte has been good about it.But on many times do you need to ask for a clean look and repeats.I payed $600.00.for eye and brow.Not happy and very disappointing.This tells me that she is using microblading,and not ink.With that said I wish her Many Blessing.. . read more

I have been coming to this salon for about 5 years now and I usually have nothing bad to say about it. Jamella is great and she does a fantastic pedicure and full set. However, the past few times I have been here my relaxation has been interrupted by unsupervised children running throughout the salon and being disruptive. I believe these are children of a couple of the ladies that work here yet they are not being watched or told to listen to their iPads with headphones on. The continuous noise is annoying and unprofessional, especially when someone comes here to relax in a quiet, spa like environment. The music that is played in the salon could also be a little more relaxing. If I wanted to listen to 70's Rock I would do so on the radio. I come here to enjoy my alone time in a relaxing, quiet environment and lately that has been hindered. It is just somewhat unprofessional compared to the other salons I have been to in the Tucson area. The salon is also a tad bit dirty and there is quite a lot of clutter. read more

A Lasting Touch Salon delivers just as the name promises! Lasting quality! I am particularly impressed with Kim Figueroa! Perfection every time she does my nails or a pedi! As well she's amazingly talented creating her fun Swarovsky sandals and jewelry. I so enjoy her inspirational fun personality! The Facility offers much more as well, massages, permanent makeup, eyelash extensions and just plain enjoyment! I love the intimacy of this salon, its small and the girls are professionals looking after every small detail to ensure you leave happy and pampered! Amazing nail salon and spa. The kindness that was shown to me here was out of this world. And the mani fill/gel polish is the prettiest I've seen in a long time (Esmeralda is where it's at!!). I've never written a yelp review before this but felt compelled. Esmeralda stayed past her work time just to take care of me, and was such a sweetie too! Allie is amazing. I have sparse over-plucked eye brows that never grew back and I was so excited when I learned about Sleek Brows. I emailed Sleek Brows directly to get a recommendation of a brow stylist and they gave me Allie. Allie was super accommodating with my tight schedule and made time for me. My appointment started right on time and she was finished sooner than expected. The end result are some seriously full and beautiful brow. I recommend Allie completely. This is a great spa/ salon easily accessible in Tucson. Three really friendly sisters own the location - they actually opened the place up especially for our Girls' Day Out one Sunday (when they are normally closed) and worked with us very sweetly on organizing everyone's schedule throughout the day. I had a prenatal massage that was complete bliss, for just $45 (+ tip; Melissa specifically is really great). I highly recommend this inexpensive but fabulous salon experience. read more

I purchased a Groupon from this salon without any idea that all the nail techs here are independent. That means they all have they own schedules and clients. The woman who accepts the Groupon was not who i was scheduled with. She was quite rude to me about the confusion. But I was on a time crunch and ended up deciding to stay and pay full price with the nail tech I was already scheduled with. It took 3 HOURS for a full set! The whole experience was uncomfortable and not acceptable for a BUSINESS. The nail tech cut me multiple times, my nails were not shaped the way I had asked, and the color I chose was streaky. I think the nail tech felt bad for doing such a poor job she gave me $10 off. I ended up paying $40 (no tip) for an overall bad service. I had not used my Groupon and made an another appointment with the actual tech who accepts them. I show up on time and wait a good 15 minutes before I am seated. She rushes to do my nails not talking much. While she is still shaping my nails, her next appointment shows up!! She pretty much didn't even try to shape the nails on my left hand. She told me she would do gel and not charge me extra (probably because gel dries faster not because she's cares about customer service) She also tried to tell me to come back and she'll match anyone's price who is lower blah blah blah. No thanks. Both times I absolutely hated my nails. I will never go back to this salon. Its bad quality and bad service. I do not recommend getting a Groupon. Just go to that salon you trust and pay full price. read more

Wow had my first visit to A Lasting Touch today, and I have some pretty awesome things to say. This place is beautiful when I walked in I was instantly surprised and loved all the grey tones. The decor was awesome. So many time you walk into a nail shop and just think, I just need a pedicure so who cares...I care! Not at this place no obnoxious tv's none of that! Instead a beautiful ambiance exactly what you need. My service was with Esmerelda, I met her a month ago and finally scheduled to get in. Originally I had scheduled to get a pedi and mani however had to change it last second to just a manicure. Esmerelda was so sweet and had no problem with that. She carefully took off my shellac and did an amazing job and I do mean amazing! She then customized my polish to a glittery silver which I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was! I am so ecstatic with my service that I went ahead and set up my appointment in 2 weeks and can't wait to get my pedicure with her! I met one of the other nail techs and she was a gem too. I am from a bigger city and moved here 3 years ago and have been a ton of places for nails, this place by far has been the best! I am so excited to have found this place and yes it is a little pricey but worth every cent. Only two doors away from a coffee shop so I grabbed my coffee and while getting my nails done enjoyed a lovely conversation with Esmerelda! Had a wonderful experience with Selina today. I don't get pedicures very often, but the few I've had always were impersonal usually with someone who didn't understand English very well. Not only did I get a wonderful, upgraded pedicure from Selina, I got a very nice conversation as well. Worth every penny. She did a great job getting rid of my calluses and did a little "extra" with my polish that made it more special. I will definitely go back the next time I decide to splurge on myself. read more
