I registered online to bring my laptop in for a keyboard repair and received a text message confirming that they expected me to bring it in today. When I arrived, a guy wearing pajamas was putting a hand written sign on the door saying that they were closed...then he locked the door. Another unhappy would-be customer told me that he'd been told that all of their employee quit this morning. So that level of professionalism kind of speaks for itself, and I'll obviously be taking my business elsewhere. read more

took my computer to ubreak we fix for repair. The screen was barely holding together I had 5 rubber bands holding it in place. Said they would take a look and give me a call in a few days. After 3 weeks I finally was able to pick up my computer after many phone calls. Said they replaced battery and power jack and was ready to go!!!!! Picked up computer paid $149.79. 5 rubber bands and 3 weeks later computer not fixed! They surely took me to the cleaners. So people I WOULD SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT TAKING MY COMPUTER OR ANY SOFT WEAR HERE.YES i HAVE A NEW BATTERY OR AT LEAST THEY SAID THEY REPLACED IT AND CABLE BUT STILL HAVE THE 5 rubber bands holding my screen together So beware folks!!!! read more

I brought a 4 month old laptop with a cracked screen in to get fixed in early August. When I brought it in there were no functional issues other than a small portion of the touchscreen not working. Not only were you unable to fix the screen, but now my laptop is completely unusable. When I brought it in, I was never warned there was any risk to the repair. Had I been I would have lived with it. RACIST!!!!!! Do not support I went into the store to have my Mac book serviced be cause if i lifted it, it would shut completely off. The diagnosis they gave me was to fix my hard drive. The replaced it and charged me almost $300. As soon as i got home it shut off again. I brought it back to the store and said, the ram sticks were bad. They replaced it and and had me pick it up again. Again, it didn't work. They told me to bring it back for a refund. When i brought it back in, they told me that they removed the new hard drive and stuck an old one they had laying around inside my laptop. When i got home it didn't work. At all. The i can't use it at all. It won't shut on. I take it back up there and they tell me that they will have to charge me to fix it or to return it to its original state. But that's not all. The employees laughed and mocked me for having to repeatedly return to the store. They refused to let me speak to the manager. The assistant manager impersonated the store manager using his name and told me there was no one else to help me. They wouldn't even give me the name or number of the store they sent my laptop to to get fixed. They told me that they didn't do the repair in-house but that was probably a lie. So here i am with a Mac book that won't turn on. The worst part was that i watched them give exceptional service go every white customer who entered the store during my several visits. read more

I have tried to have my battery replaced on my Google phone 3 times without success. Initially an appointment was made only to be told when I arrived that the person who repairs Google phones was not available. Why make an appointment if the technician is not available. I made an appointment a second time and they took my phone and was told it would be ready in 2-3 hours. I returned to be told that they did not have the adhesive to put the phone back together. A waste of my time. They said they would order adhesive and let me know. No return call. I called to check and was told the adhesive they ordered had already been used up. Why wouldn't an outfit that repairs phones order sufficient amounts to have on hand. read more

These guys really took care of everything again. I can't think the entire staff so much for being patient with me as I break my phone again and again day in and day out. Well I brought my laptop in when the back panel broke from my foot being looped around a mouse cord (get wireless trackballs). The back panel then pushed through the touchscreen. Very delicate. At first declared irreparable, they kept the laptop and worked through their network to find the needed parts. I greatly appreciate going that extra mile and paid them well for it. Good work! Happy to have my laptop functional again. Always watch cords and use wireless when possible. read more

Blake and Ronnie were very professional and listen to my issues with my daughter's phone on the phone when I called and told me to bring it in and they would help me the best that they could. When I arrived they were very helpful and understood how frustrated I was and ended up fixing my problem with my daughter's phone and because they didn't really need to do much I was not charged. Brought phone in for a cracked screen repair. Phone was a fully functioning phone before store touched phone. After several days waiting for repair, phone was returned without repair being done and now phone data connection is broken. Store told me it was due to water damage and they wouldn't replace screen or pay for damaging phone. Phone is now worthless and are being told store is not at fault. DO NOT EVER TAKE A REPAIR HERE. Eating the cost of a 250$ phone because I took my phone to a crappy repair store. read more

I dropped my phone today and the screen shattered. I stopped at another business that repairs phones and they couldn't get the parts for at least a week. Then I called Best Buy, where I bought my phone. They said they aren't certified to work on Samsung phones and recommended Ubreakifix. I called them and they were extremely pleasant on the phone. They gave me a quote and said they could have it done in 2 hours. I dropped off the phone and 2 hours later it was as good as new! Figured I had a battery issue on iPhone. They ran the test, snapped a picture of test and reviewed it with me. Told me about 1 1/2 for swap of battery. Was right on time as it was done when I walked in. Friendly guys who explained steps, told me the price and made repair. Explained procedure after repair and price was just as receipt stated. Good for broken screen repairs. NOT for anything internal. I will not be going back here again. My iPhone 7plus quit charging and died quickly last year, so I took it in. They told me it needed a new battery and a new port. They worked on it twice within a week and replaced both parts for $129. Fastforward a year later and my phone won't hold a charge or turn on again. I take it back....but its out of the 90 day warranty so they do a diagnostic on it. The tech said its probably the port again but they will only charge me $89. I wasn't happy with that answer so I take it to a different company. The other company opened it up, diagnosed it in under 5 minutes. Turned out it was a bad battery that UBREAK said they replaced. The repair with the other company cost me $50 and I couldn't be happier with their technician and knowledge. Ubreakifix, you need better technicians and better parts. I feel like this company is like a Car repair shop. Go in for an oil change and need a new transmission. LMAO. : ( read more

Took my IPad to uBreakiFix September 15, 2020 to have a cracked screen repaired. The gentleman looked at it and said that the IPad was in great shape and it would be an easy fix. He said that they were slammed but the computer says that it should be ready at 2 p.m. the next day. I received a text around 2:30 saying it was ready for pick up. I arrived about 3:15, a young man came, took my information, went back brought out my IPad and said that the cost would be $192.00. I ran my debit card through the machine and almost immediately my phone beeped saying that $ 192.00 had been paid out to uBreakiFix. He then says that something is not right and will have to get somebody to fix it. Another person comes out and says that the money was not put into their account and I would have to run my card again. I pulled up my checking account on my phone and showed him that the transaction had gone through and it was pending. He informs me that he could not let me have it until the money was in their account. I tried to explain to him what pending meant but he said he could not let me have it until the money was in their bank account. We argued for a while then left knowing that the pending would come off when my bank opened the next day. I checked my account at 10 a.m. and sure enough it was no longer pending and sent to their bank. I went to pick it up and was informed that it still wasn't in their account. This time I was dealing with the manager. He tells me I should put the charge on another credit card and fight with my bank to get my money back. I told him that I don't have credit cards and only use my debit card and that was not gonna give them more money. I told him to call somebody I could talk to. He told me the owner was very important person and could not call him. Now I'm really pissed! I tell him that I was flying out Friday at 6 a.m. and the IPad had figures on it that I needed. That evening I received a call from the district manager, he says he had talked to the credit card company and they said the transaction had not gone through and I should pay again and the money will reappear in my account magically in a few days. I told him I had talked to my bank and they said it went through. He replies so you bank with Visa, you are the first person I've ever met that has a bank account with Visa. I reply, no,I have a debit card from my bank. Again I am told to pay for it again and fight with my bank to get my money back. I inform him I will not giving them any more money and hang up. I did not sleep at all Thursday night, postponed trip, and waited on a call Friday, didn't get one. Again, little sleep Friday, went Saturday morning thinking it has got to be over, wrong! Went to my bank, they gave me document with conformation numbers and dates and a phone number to call. The manager faxed it to someone, came back and asked if I could wait a couple of minutes while somebody called their bank. 30 minutes later I tell t(em t(e next person they talk to will be my lawyer. I get a call from my brother that afternoon and tell him the story. He tells me a lawyer won't do any good, don't you know who owns that business? He tells me some 30 year old kid named Justin Wetherill sp. who is worth 140 or 150 million dollars. It's Saturday midnight, no sleep again. read more

My two year old was diagnosed with type one diabetes so he has an iPad for hospital stays and to distract him throughout the day with his shots and medical device insertions. The screen cracked, and I found this place. Dropped it off, it was supposed to be same day but ended up taking two days. No big deal. When I got there to pick up the iPad the man that brought it out stood there and picked at a corner for two minutes before handing it back. I didn't think too much of it. Paid my $130 and left. Within 24 hours of my toddler having it back it was cracked AGAIN! Luckily, I saw on their website that they have a 90 day warranty on, and verbatim "All parts and labor". Yay! I called and the guy we spoke to seemed to have no clue what he was talking about. He proceeded to tell me "we already don't make that much money" when asked to replace it under the warranty. He explained the process to me and said they use a machine to put the glass on that could make it crack within 24 hours of using it. WOW SOUNDS LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. Unfortunately, the manager wasn't in so we left it for him to look at. The next day the manager called my husband and wouldn't even let him get a word in. Just kept going in circles. We then contacted corporate who said they would investigate and call us back within 24 hours.. it's now been 48 hours and when we call the corporate office it says "we are currently not accepting calls" and hangs up. Their warranty is non-existent. Their staff is completely rude and unprofessional. My husbands uncle just had a similar problem with them - we didn't even know until we told him what was going on and he agreed with how unprofessional this place is. Go anywhere but here! read more

Insurance on top oh having the screen replace i get the phone back it looked good so then when i would talk on the phone are someone would call they couldn't here me so i call u break we fixed and i told them they did something to my speaker so they told me to bring the phone back and they would take a look at it now mind you i had no problem with the phone at all untill i took it to them and just because i had drop the phone and put a lil crack on it they are blaming me for the damage they did to my phone so not only am i out the $100 and the 24.99 for the insurance i sit here with a damage that they did and now to refused to fix it with out having to charge me again for what they did they messed my phone up and refuse to fix it not unless i wanna pay them again this is bs and i dont recommend them to any one so beware of you break we fixed in eastgate very rude and unprofessional manager read more

Horrible place! Will never recommend or return! First I made an appointment for 10am for Saturday. They open at 10. First employee to show up was at 1005. Walking in and ignoring the 3 people waiting for the place to open. He headed to the back and immediately started taking phone calls. A lady that was waiting also eventually called the store to inform the gentleman in the back that there are customers waiting in the lobby! (While we 3 stood in the dark). He apologized and eventually came out from the back. He started helping the lady and the second employee showed up and the second employee took over helping. Third employee showed up and finally turned on the store lights and went straight to the back. Joel 2nd EE took forever helping the lady who didn't have an appointment. Then Joel started on the second customer, took forever! Again he didn't have an appointment! Now during this entire time we all can hear the 2 gentlemen in the back loudly hating on customers! Dropping F bombs way to much! I'm thankful my kids weren't with me!! Joel finally gets to me and is taking forever with me. I told him I had an appointment for 10! It's now 1032!! I was supposed to be somewhere at 1030!! He got rude with me, and didn't even get a number to contact me later when it's ready. He told me it would me ready by 238. I later swung by at 2 to check progress. Joel told me they are working on it currently. I swung by at 250, waited for 15 minutes more! Joel finally tells me they're aren't finished. Give him 10 minutes and he will finish it! 20 minutes later he returns with my phone! I had to be in Dayton at 4! So I'm furious! These kids can't get to work on time! Are rude! Have ZERO consideration of your time! Don't waste your time making an appointment because that's POINTLESS!! The place is filthy! Floor covered in dust! This was one of the worst experiences I've had in years!!!!!! read more
