This is the place I was directed to come when my inner phone screen was plateauing up. I have a phone that requires some extra care and these were the guys to do it. Great customer service but so wish they could do better with appointments and estimates on how long you will be away from your phone. It's hard to give up your phone these days but you literally have to do it in order to make do with their queue system. It's just not easy at all to get an estimate on how long it's going to take and what not. You make an appointment to drop it off but there's no guarantee on when it's going to be done. Part finally came in, they fixed it today and then asked for $300 plus, I told them it was covered under warranty as promised by CBG and he's now confused.... So the brings out the weasel, Tony and he can't explain how his parents got together (Neither can I after that mess), then runs to the back after he hears a curse word, telling me he's going to disrepair the phone... I brought my truck in for an oil change, you noticed the clutch slipped so you went ahead and put a clutch and transmission in without calling/contacting me? And then you want paid? I have two words for you, Attorney General, actually 3 Ohio Attorney General and/or Small Claims Court where I'll get to see CBG and the weasel.. Good fun!!! read more

I took my old and new Samsungs in to have a data transfer from one to the other. My husband went in the following day to have a new battery placed in his iPhone. His repair went smoothly. My data transfer? Not so great. I took my new phone in on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. The employee who checked in my phone was courteous and professional. He told me that, since they were short-handed, it might take all day before the transfer was complete. Not a problem. I tried 3 times to call the store to learn the status without any luck. I drove to the store around 4:00 pm. That employee was rude and unprofessional. He kept insisting that I already had my phone (wouldn't listen when I explained he was referring to my husband's iPhone); seemed to blame me for their lack of employees; and told me to come in the next day (which I couldn't do). The tracking page listed my phone is under repair Saturday and Sunday. I received an email that my phones were ready on Monday....and they were closed for the holiday. So I retrieved my phones today, after work (Tuesday). I really wish there was some competition for this provider, as I would recommend everyone go there instead. I feel sorry for the employees who do have good customer service as they are tainted by the others. read more

I came in last evening at 4:30, was told by the tech, he was super slow but could not get to my repair yesterday, my options were to leave my phone and it would be ready at noon, or bring it back today and wait, I returned today had the screen replaced and asked to have a screen protector installed, he brought it out and explained that the air bubbles was due to "the tempered glass installed being too flat" this is the most ridiculous statement, I asked him to reinstall it or work out the air bubbles and he restates the original statement that the product you sell is too flat for the screen protector you sell. That the service of installing the screen protector I just paid for to avoid these bubbles can not be avoided. I will let people know my experience. Attentive service! I walked into the store and received an appointment immediately which included a first time $10 off coupon for my service. The Apple store said the repair of my camera lens for my iPhone 13 would cost $420. They said the trade-in value was only $118 on my phone with one broken lens. The Verizon store told me I didn't have any insurance. Ubreakifix on Kenwood Road repaired my camera lens for less than $50! Unbelievable service. Very straightforward and professional with no fluff. My iPhone was stuck on the white screen of death. I got it to the recovery point, then it stopped. I dropped it off on a Wednesday, told I would hear something on Friday. I checked back with them today, Monday, only to be told my phone had gotten wet and couldn't be saved. My phone has never been in water or anything else. I live alone. My phone is in my purse or desk, so who knows how it was exposed to liquid. They said they would recycle it. I had already replaced it, but the explanation just doesn't sit right. read more

Dropped an iPad with a cracked screen on Sunday. Picked it up on Wednesday. It was completely discharged so I couldn't check it in the store. Once at home, I realized the repair wasn't drone properly. The center of the touchscreen was unresponsive and there were weird "folds" on the screen edges. Brought it back today, told me they would take a look at it but cannot make it a priority and it will be ready on Sunday, which doesn't work for me since I leave for vacation early that day and this is the device my son needs to communicate. Here are the issues I have with this store and company: 1. Defective repair job. The device is unusable. 2. No apology or even acknowledgment of the trouble they caused. The clerk looked like she didn't care, wasn't polite and seemed totally out of it. 3. Fixing your mistake should have made the repair be on top of the priority list. Instead, you couldn't be bothered and told me you were "slammed". 4. No quality control. The fact that the iPad was discharged clearly demonstrates you didn't even check the quality of your own repair work. Unacceptable in any industry. 5. If your teams spent as much time checking their work than they do trying to sell your extended warranty service, maybe your results would be better. I will consider amending this review if they managed to correct their mistake by Saturday. In the meantime, I do not recommend this business was to anyone. read more

Could not repair the phone and instructed me to send it to Samsung. Now Samsung wants me to pay $377 for the damages they caused. I have always had good experiences with cell phone repair places--they tend to be staffed by honest, technically skilled people. My experience at this store was not like that, and I will not be returning here. The short version: 1. my phone was damaged when it was in custody of the store, 2. the fixes the store provided were of poor quality which ultimately led me having to go to *another* store for repair, and 3. the store seemed more interested in getting me subscribed to a service plan than providing high quality technical work. The long version: I brought my daughter's iPhone in for a battery replacement. Soon after I left the store I received a call from a technician telling me that the screen needed to be repaired before she could replace the battery. I told her the screen was fine when I gave the phone to them. She then accused me of disparaging her before checking to see what the reported condition of the phone was upon submission at the front desk. Ideally she would have checked this information before even calling me. I was eventually told that the screen would be replaced at no cost to me because the phone had been damaged at their store. After I picked up the phone later that day--seemingly fixed and battery replaced--I gave the phone to my daughter and she almost immediately pointed out a defect on the screen (a permanent black mark on the display). I took the phone back to the store and was told the screen would be replaced again at no charge. Upon picking up the phone again, everything again seemed fine. The next day my family left for an out of town trip (I had wanted the battery replaced specifically for this trip). While in the car traveling, my daughter pointed out the her screen, which had been fine when we left, was now broken. I couldn't believe it, and thought she must have done something to it. When we reached our destination I took the phone to a repair shop there so that the screen could be replaced again. When I returned to pick it up, the technician at that store said that the screen had not broken because it had been dropped but BECAUSE THE BATTERY HAD BEEN INSTALLED IMPROPERLY. The battery plate had been installed upside down, and there were numerous missing and stripped screws. And to top everything off, my daughter tells me that her phone is not keeping a charge any better than before I had the battery replaced. So I have ended up spending over $200 ($120 for the original battery replacement and $90 for the screen replacement) for essentially nothing. This store is a disgrace, and I would advise anyone that there are plenty other honest businesses to take their phones to for these kinds of services. read more

I went here a week ago to have my Nintendo switch charger port fixed . They were able to give me a diagnostic the same day a couple hours later and a week later they called and said they were able to completely fix it . I am so happy I went here before I tried to buy a new one . Great customer service and literally made my day since it's during the state wide shut down for covid-19 and I was unsure any repair place would be open. Very thankful for these guys! STAY AWAY FROM THIS UBREAKIFIX. Go to the one in Kenwood or any other one. Had my phone screen replaced then it went black and they replaced it citing a faulty part. Had to go back a few weeks later for the EXACT same issue and they cited a small scratch on the screen saying that was what caused it. I've read through the reviews and it seems to be a pattern that the most recent reviews are the more negative ones. They were simply trying to avoid replacing it again and tried to charge me ANOTHER $300 for a job they did wrong in the first place forcing me to make multiple trips and then not standing behind their work. Ended up going to two other ubreakifix locations and they both chuckled at what these people tried to claim as physical damage and ended up getting the screen replaced under warranty the same day after being told by the tech in the back(Chris) that nothing could be done but me to pay again. I get that things happen but it's a pattern at this location. The Chris guy in the back talked to me in a very condescending tone and was overall a real a**hole and the bearded fella in the front didn't seem to know much about anything. The girl that works the weekend was nice enough both times I went but that doesn't change the fact the people doing the actual repairs seem to have a new found pattern of incompetence. Their business number has been ringing closed for business for over two weeks. I drove to the location to see if they were open and indeed they were. I dropped off my phone and they said 2 hours, they asked for an alternate number to reach me on. I gave them my land line. When I arrived 4 hours later the phone was only partially functioning. The technician said he thought it was an incompatibility with the after market screen they used, he said the Apple OEM screen would be 100% compatible. Could I come tomorrow and let them replace the screen again? He said they did not call me to ask about the Apple screen because the land line to the business is not working. But everyone there has personal cell phones and still no call! Or go buy a burner phone to use for outbound customer calls instead of not contacting customers! Terrible service, I will not return. I brought in a PS3 that was overheating. I previously had applied new thermal paste and that had resolved the issue for about 6 months. uBreakiFix was not able to fix my PS3, but while trying to diagnose the issue, they re-applied new thermal paste. They didn't charge me as they were unable to resolve the issue. However, while they weren't able to fix the issue, they did get the PS3 to last long enough without overheating to allow me to transfer my data to another PS3. They were super friendly, reasonable, and knowledgeable. I will definitely send business their way if I or someone I know needs help with a broken device in the future. read more
