Unique business model, awesome truck (actually looks like an ambulance) that comes to you, and perfect execution/communication, all priced the same as cell phone repair shops where YOU have to go to THEM. (I paid $109.99 minus $5 for checking in to Yelp for getting the glass replaced on my iPhone 6 - I called several other shops and they all quoted the same). Got phone home and charged it, wife is furious the volume buttons don't work. Upon messaging them to inquire about their non-existent warranty, Jacob Henderson lied and claimed the buttons didn't work due to being dropped and complete stopped responding. A complete crock of sht. Save your time and blood pressure. Stay clear of these folks. Buy from a reputable source who actually honors their word (warranty). I bought a cell phone from Upward Mobile four months ago. The charger port is going bad and the phone takes hours and hours to re-charge -- if it even charges at all. Sometimes it will, and sometimes it won't. I was in touch with the seller, who won't do anything because my 30-day warranty has run out. He wouldn't even consider that maybe it was his phone that was not up to par. This was a total waste of money. I'd advise anyone not to buy from them unless you don't mind buying more than one phone in a year. read more

Short version: Take your broken phone here. No upsell, quick, quality service. Managed to break a headphone jack inside my iPhone. I tried to remove it the night before to no avail, possibly making it worse. Decided I'd take it to someone that would have more experience. Right off the bat I was pleasantly surprised by the store, it was very clean and well lit. I was promptly greeted and helped. They tried to remove the jack, with no luck and told me they could replace the headphone jack port, charging port and lower speaker. I was quoted $60 and a 25-30 minute turnaround. Came back to the store right after 25 minutes and my fixed phone was waiting for me. Bill came out to $64 (60 plus tax), just as I was quoted. I'm not sure how competitive their pricing is, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend going to them. I can't imagine better service. read more

Device EMS assisted me during the week prior to my wedding, which was a very stressful & hectic week to say the least. It didn't help matters when I dropped & shattered my phone. I contacted Device EMS and they were able to set up an appointment for the next day. They even came to me, which was especially helpful since I was at a work event that week. Everyone I worked with was extremely nice, super professional and they even gave me a discount for being a bride-to-be! I was completely satisfied with the repair, and they added a shatter screen...just in case (which I've since scratched, so thank goodness it wasn't my real screen!). I can't sing their praises enough. While it's never fun to shatter your phone, they truly made the experience a lot less painful than it could have been, especially just a few days before THE biggest day in my life. Great service! One of those little cheap fans you plug into the port of an iphone blew my battery (don't buy them!). They came out and replaced the battery for just $60. Not having to drive to Apple in Kenwood was worth $60! But then after they left, neither of my iphone chargers worked on my phone anymore. I called them, they came back and replaced both of my cords. Neither they or myself could figure out why both charger cords would quit working at the same time my phone went out but the new cord they gave me worked. BIzarre iphone experience but they were very helpful. Sure you have to sign the waiver saying they aren't Apple certified but they do all the basic repairs & it shouldn't require an Apple tech to fix. Why pay 4-5 times more? He emailed back and forth and told me he could come out to fix the problem. .he asked me what the problem was and continued to tell me he could help me. .he then said what time is good for you. .i told him, he then asked for my address then maybe 15 min later he sent a address for me to take my computer to a computer store on redbank.. so which then leads me to believe after he put in my address be decided not to come. ..i mean i didn't know that newtown was a problem. .but WOW! how unprofessional! !!!
