Horrible experience. Would not recommend. I brought my iPad in to be fixed and agreed to sign up for a "home" insurance program from Asurion that would cover multiple devices. However, after running into issues setting up the new multiple device insurance, they attempted to charge me for the original repair that was supposed to be covered under the insurance it was the entire reason why I agreed to complete the repair in the first place. Complete waste of time between multiple visits and phone calls, I spend more time than the devices worth new. My phone has been broken for a few weeks now and I have been trying to avoid getting it fixed because I have been waiting for my upgrade and didn't want to get ripped off! My phone has been having severe issues with location services, the camera, battery, etc, and got to the point where it could only be used while plugged in. I walked in, and they were able to completely fix it in an hour. Their staff showed me my (obviously) blown battery, helped me check to see if I had insurance, replaced my battery, and gave me a fair deal. Highly recommend! read more

These people are thieves. Had a cracked camera lens on iPhone 16pro. They quoted $250 to fix. Said they have to open the whole back of phone. Did not fix with them. Went to a local repair shop, recommended by ATT factory store. They charged $40. Fixed in a half hour, works like new. read more

Poor experience, I would recommend literally anywhere else. From the beginning, this experience was lackluster at best. They will keep your device for several days, overcharge you for the parts they use, then apathetically shrug your questions off when you inevitably have questions about what was done to your device and how that actually fixes the problem you asked them to fix. The device even had to be brought back because when it was returned home it was found to have not been properly fixed. I truly can't imagine how this approach to operating a business is lucrative, but to each their own. Next time, I'll take my device to another local repair shop - there are plenty with far better reviews than that of this store. By the way, you should probably disclose the add-on credit card fee to customers beforehand so they don't look down on their receipt and see a number different than that which they agreed to. It feels dishonest which is unfortunately consistent with the overall impression I get of this shop. read more

I brought my computer here for a diagnostic and I needed a graphics card. For three months now they have been "getting the parts" so I purchased a card from the store for $90 and was told I would get a full refund after my card was fixed. After I went home I saw the graphics card was not 1gig like I was told. I went to refund my purchase today and the owner flat out refused to refund me. What they did is illegal. It's called bait and switched. They told me one thing and sold me something completely different and now the owner is claiming there was a $45 installation fee that was never mentioned before. This store is a scam. Thankfully the better business bureau is now involved. Also the owner refused to give me my graphics card they have been working on for three months. Don't go here Update: The Better Business Bureau is now involved in this situation as is my bank. Out of nowhere this guy is trying to say there was an installation fee. That was never mentioned when I purchased the card. They are also refusing to return the card that was in my computer that they have done literally nothing with in three months. DONT EVER COME TO THIS PLACE!! ITS A SCAM‼‼I've never left a Yelp review before but I have to this time. WORST SERVICE EVER. I brought my phone here with a few cracks in the screen. The old man told me that I would have to pay almost $500 for an actual Apple phone screen, or I could get the same repair with a different screen for $300. I am a college student, but needed my phone fixed so I agreed to pay the $300. He told me to come back in an hour and a half, and when I did he told me it wasn't ready. I went back 2 more times. It took 5 and a half hours to repair my phone. THEN, I finally get the phone back and the screen did not properly fit the phone, it was so thick that it looked like a screen protector. A week later, my phone completely malfunctioned so I took it to the Apple store and the employees were VISIBLY ANGRY AT HOW HORRIBLE THE REPAIR JOB WAS. And said that the malfunction was a result of the repair. I was unable to even gain access into my phone as it completely stopped respond to touch. Phone needed a new screen and it was local so I brought it in to get replaced. Simple enough. When I got the phone back it was fine... until I went to take a picture. The camera from that point on almost never worked and would just show a black screen (this was a screen repair what does that have to do with my camera which was fine before). Then one day I was having trouble with my phone connecting to just my regular mobile network. I went in settings and come to find out in my cellular settings there was suddenly a sim 1 and sim 2 setting which was never there before. Wtf? And some how my phone would only work if it was on sim 2. So what was the sim 1 for and why is there suddenly 2 sim slots. WTf? And again this is after all they were supposed to do was change the screen. Why were settings even changed and my phone went thru in such a manner? WTF?!? After bringing my phone here it was ruined. I never had any issues with it electronically, just the screen cracked as what happens with 75% of iPhones. But after bringing it here my phone was never the same again until finally it just busted THE SAME DAY I WENT TO EUROPE FOR OVER 2 WEEKS. Probably one of the times I needed my phone the most, it completely was shot out. Not to mention the guy working (maybe owner) suggested I pay cash instead of a card and wouldn't charge tax and would discount it (clearly so he could do the repair off the books. Not even discrete about it. He straight up said those words) and but I paid with a card. Then he gave me my card back and said have a nice day without a receipt. When I asked for one he looked at me like I had 10 heads and eventually gave me it but not without push back. I think it was like 75-100$ less than having Apple do it (which isn't cheap for a repair store) but in the end I needed an entire new phone which cost like $1200. I'd rather have spent the extra money at Apple and you can save yourself the cost of having it fixed in this place (250 I think) plus a new phone (1200. Total cost 1450) vs apples 300) or even better do apple care if your a phone dropper and they fix or replace your phone for a deductible. STAY AWAY FROM HERE MY ADVICE: spend the extra few bucks. Go to Apple where you know it will be repaired with consumer protection. Stay away from ALL of these kinds of places. read more

Came in around the middle of september for a diagnostic on a gaming pc, cane back the gpu was shot. For 2 months they've been waiting on parts so they offered a temporary gpu. They gave it to me in the pc case about a week ago for a tenporary use and was told the gpu model was a 1gb card and SOLD us the card IN the computer case. We were told that we can either refund the gpu if we didnt need it anymore, or could put the $90 we paid for it twords the repairs to the card that was broken. The gpu is an e Geforce 8600GTS. 512mb, not a GB. I couldnt find this out till i booted up the pc at home and went through the new hardware. We came back about a week later after finding a replacement for the 8600 and were told that we could only get store credit by Jimmy after we paid in cash. Literally a bait and switch by two different employees, and misinformation by both of them. We were told because we brought the gpu back outside of a case that we couldnt get a refund because they couldnt test it, because Jimmy doesnt know how, and "the other guy" does. I was told if i brought the 8600gts back, id be getting my money back for it. So why the bait and switch? -We were told that it was $89.99 for the gpu itself. We were also told that if we were able to replace the temporary "solution" ourselfs, that we could bring JUST THE CARD BACK, for a refund. There was never any mention of "void repair" because you take a gpu out of a motherboard. The fact that you're charging $45-$46 as labor for someone to even install a gpu is a scam on its own. It does matter that the memory of the gpu you SOLD us was lower than what you said it was, thats false advertising. We were never told we'd have to bring the gpu back in the case for it to be a "valid" return. We replaced the card ourselfs, as i mentioned before. You also dont need a "gAmInG cOmPuTeR" to test a graphics card, they pop in the motherboard of any computer. The fact that you're telling me something different was going on with the "solution" is another of many issues. As i mentioned, you're "computer guy" said the card was a 1GB card and the card ITSELF was $89.99. NOT that we were being charged for a 512mb gts 8600 and labor. It was never about if the gpu worked for us or not, WE GOT A REPLACEMENT. We were told we could bring it back, if that happend. No mention of it needing to be in the case, or tested. These people took money from me only to ruin my phones battery. They seem nice and all that but aren't willing to acknowledge when they've done a bad job. They won't make it right. They don't use authentic OEM parts either. When I took my phone to have it looked at elsewhere they were baffled with the amount of glue that they found Inside the phone. I don't even like using Yelp but felt compelled to write this review after three months because I hate spreading negativity on the internet but ultimately felt compelled to in order to warn people. They might be able to reinstall windows on your pc or something simple but I wouldn't task them with anything complex. read more

The assholes tried to call me a liar, say I did stuff to the phone and tried to twist my words, did stuff on my phone without my consent and we finally settled on a partial refund and I wasn't happy about it but cause I was just over it, I didn't have the energy to put into to all the bs so I settled. Don't go to that store unless you're trying to throw your money away cause your device is not getting fixed and they'll try to say or do anything just so they don't have to give you your money back and prepare yourself to be disrespected when you tell them you're not satisfied with their services cause they get very offensive about it and don't even mention their 90 day warranty cause they don't care. read more

Highly recommend. The other day I updated the software on my Apple MacBook Pro, but it seemed to be stuck in the software installation. I made an appointment at Apple's Genius Bar in NYC because I was there for work and really needed access to a computer. They told me I would have to leave my laptop with them and hopefully they would be able to recover the data on my computer, but the diagnostics they ran showed some issues. Also, it would cost a few hundred dollars to repair. This wasn't an option since I was flying back to Florida the next morning. Apple said it was about that time to get a new laptop anyways, so I ended up buying a new computer. When I arrived back in Florida I brought my computer to uBreakiFix and explained the situation. I just wanted to get the documents from my old laptop onto my new laptop. Within an hour of dropping it off, I received a call saying that there was nothing wrong with my laptop. It appeared that the WiFi cut out when the software update was happening. They plugged it into the router and the software update finished. I couldn't believe it considering Apple had just told me my computer was likely shot and I needed to buy a new one. When I went to pick up my laptop from uBreakiFix, they didn't even charge me. Brought in 2 iPhones, a 7 with broken home button and an XS that wouldn't come on. I had brought the 7 to Apple and was basically told it would cost more then the phone was worth for the repair so when these guys told me $45 I was thrilled. Turns out the fingerprint reader no longer functions, Ok I can deal with that. On to the XS, he later called me back to tell me the battery needed to be replaced and it would cost $120. Because of the reasonable quote on the 7 I didn't bother to research what it should cost and later found out the replacement at Apple with a genuine Apple part is only $69.00 Well besides paying too much for the bootleg battery they installed, it holds its charge maybe half as long as it should and the phone often provides me with a reminder that my battery diagnostics will not function because the battery cannot be identified as an Apple part. That message is a constant reminder of my mistake dealing with these less then honest guys. I went back to discuss the situation and was told the phone is working correctly and they would do nothing to resolve my complaints. AVOID! read more

This was an incredibly bad experience.Brought my I-Phone into the store for screen replacement.I had a very minor crack in the phone.The phone was working perfectly so I decided to repair it instead of just upgrading with Apple. First when I walked in the store the Owner tried to upgrade the advertised price he agreed to over the phone for the replacement. He then agreed to honor the price (I should have ran right there).When I got the phone home the first night after replacement - I immediately had a battery problem.I called the store immediately and the owner said no problem just bring the phone in and they would take care of it.He explained they detach the battery during the process & it just needed a minor adjustment.When i arrive back at the store they tell me the battery (that I had zero problems with) was bad.He said he would discount the battery replacement by $20 which with his alleged discount was $50 more than it is done elsewhere! I demanded he fix the problem he caused and he refused.I then had the battery replaced at a store in the mall and the technician said there was no way the battery got that bad that quick and the screen was after market. Total scam. Owning a small businesses myself - I gave the owner every opportunity to rectify the situation. He refused. I have never written a negative review on Yelp.These people are either totally incompetent or total scammers. Run from this store! read more
