I've been to this venue for quite a few events over the years . This past Saturday I attended a production of The Nutcracker with a friend and her family . Tickets were $28 in the balcony, which is more reasonable than Sheas . The balcony can be quite steep and snug . We also struggled to find access to the balcony, we initially went up a staircase that led us nowhere . The Centerfor the Arts was decorated nicely for the show and the ushers did prove helpful (once we found the balcony ) to find our seats . There are concessions available . I will continue to check out future events at this venue when money and time allows it .

Rub a dub dub Three men in a UB Two were cops, one was me Not telling you the rest of this story Not to be confused with these Center for the Arts which is where Noah hangs out. This is a beautiful facility that hosts all kinds of cool speakers and performances. It's part of the UB campus so it loses a star for being policed by some of the most fascist people in the region. Sorry but that's been my experience and I'm nothing if not honest. Actually according to my Mum I'm just nothing. But yeah.

Located on the UB North campus, this is a great place to catch a performance, you're so close you could reach out and touch the entertainers. You get a very up close experience with the performers and you can see a variety of plays and concerts. The sound is very good. Some past performers I have seen here include Donny Osmond , Richard Marx, Megan Mullally, the Brian McKnight Christmas show as well as the play the Producers and this theater never disappoints. Plus there is plenty of nearby parking in the lots.

There is plenty of free parking on the UB North campus when attending an event here. There is never a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are very good in this 1400 seat theater. There is always a great variety of plays and concerts that make for an entertaining night out. Some past performances I have enjoyed here include the play The Producers and concert performances like the Brian McKnight Christmas show, Megan Mullally, Donny Osmond and Richard Marx.

We were here for a Buffalo Philharmonic concert. It is a lovely venue, the biggest drawback was that it is a very long distance from the parking lot, including the handicap parking, and once inside, another long walk to the elevator. We were with my mother. She usually uses a rollator, but knowing the distance from the parking lot, we brought her wheelchair. Luckily so. The concert hall seats are nicely banked so that there is no problem seeing the stage. The BPO needs no review; it is a wonderful orchestra that we are lucky to have in our city

I have been here a number of times throughout the years. Most recently to hear Walter Mosely speak earlier this year and then Steven Pinker this past week. The facility is so nice. Parking is a little farther away than I would have imagined in Buffalo winters, but ok. The facility is clean, well lit, nice little coffee stand inside, great seating both In the lobby and in the theater. It holds about 1400 people we were told., but the traffic flow is so good you don't feel rushed or crushed. We have been to a few small catered events there, and the catering is fine, but its catering, so keep that in mind. If you have a chance to go see something here, you should go, its nice, comfortable, great acoustics, small enough to really see well, etc.

The location is nice and they host a lot of events. However, they need to adjust the acoustics so there is no reverb noticeable up on the top rows, and for me personally, the seats are way too steep.

We attended an event called Blue Monday with Jack Civiletto (Chicago Jack) leading the group. Each week has a guest singer. This week it was Rod Nickson. This was followed by an open blues jam session where other local blues musicians are welcome to join in. Reserved seating is recommended with other tables available depending on the crowd. There's limited but good food menu and reasonably priced drink menu. Enjoyable fun night. If you're not into blues (which I love!) You can check their calendar for other option. From my first visit to the most recent it's a 5 Star entertainment venue. We come to listen to the best of the best of Western New York's Blues performers, most of which are in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame. Our latest visit here was for the 2022 Lafayette Tap Room Reunion party. Anyone that remembers the Tap Room at the Lafayette Hotel on Washington St should remember how Blues nights packed the house. This reunion was the same. Packed with musicians taking turns on stage and music fans filling the venue. There is always a reasonably priced food menu and a fair priced bar. I encourage anyone interested in this type of entertainment to check out their website. Search Tacoma Preforming Art Canter.for upcoming events.

Most 300 level were in small classrooms. The north campus building are very odd looking. I was told by a UB staff that this was done purposely. I have visited a handful of other SUNY colleges and UB is by far the biggest and nicest. D1 football here. HORNS UP. Besides the university, Buffalo is a great city to live in. It is considered a large city but is small for being a large city. There are a ton of things to do year round. Amazing food options. Bills and Sabres. If you are interested in the SUNY system, would prefer a large campus and has the major you are wanting I would highly recommend applying to UB.

Unless you're coming at night, parking here can be very challenging. Be sure to read the signs or you will get a ticket of some sort.
